Beautiful home out in the country! Stayed here while we were visiting our daughter at Clemson. A bit of a drive to the school (about 25 min) but the peaceful tranquility was worth it and the drive is a lot of back roads so not terrible. Loved the huge front porch and watching the cows around the property. Would definitely recommend and plan on visiting again.

What a beautiful home in a beautiful setting! We were in town to move our new Clemson graduate student into her space, and this was such a restful spot during all of our busy running around. Very clean, beautifully decorated, well stocked, comfortable furniture and beds. We brought our dogs and were able to kennel them comfortably in the laundry area during our absences, and we so appreciate being able to bring them along. The rural setting and sunrises/ sunsets, flowering trees and fireflies were magical, and the provided history of the home and the area was delightful! Our host was quickly responsive to any questions. We hope to rent here again on visits to our daughter over the next few years! Thank you!

What a lovely little place! We chose it for the out-of-the-way location and the fact that it had three adult-size beds. We had a great time walking the property & chatting with the goats. We visited Tucker Farm on a Clemson Game weekend to visit our daughter. We brought our brother and sister-in-law down with us to experience the Clemson Atmosphere. Our stay was great. The drive a little further from campus than we like, but the price and solitude made it worth it. We had a crazy foggy evening the one night making driving to the house a bit nerve-racking, but we managed. The cottage is well-equipped and very comfortable and the views out to the pastures make for lovely mornings and evenings.

A true farmhouse

Peaceful. A true country vacation.

The house is extremely clean and comfortable. All you need to make your own meals is there and grocery stores and restaurants are nearby. The setting is peaceful and I loved hearing the rooster in the AM and seeing the cattle and donkeys during the day.

The property was beautiful and as described on the site. The air stopped working on our first night. It was an extremely warm weekend, and the house was at 88 when we left for our event at 11:30. We called to report this to the host, but without much resolution. She stated that it was an old house, and cooling the house down took time. She did say that they were going to need to replace the unit. She asked if we were cool the night before, and when we responded yes, she simply said, then it will probably cool off again tonight.When we returned to the cottage, the temperature stated 89. The unit was not on, and we crawled under to see if it was frozen or if we just could not hear the unit running...nothing. We called the host, and she asked if we had turned down the thermostat, which would have caused it to freeze. We restated that the unit had not been running. She said that she was going to call someone to come out, and she would call back. The host called back and stated that someone was on the way. We received a call almost two hours later that no one was coming that night to fix the unit. She did say that we would be refunded 1/2 of our stay for our inconvenience, which she did. The cottage was gorgeous, and no one can predict the temperatures; this is for certain. It was disappointing that when we called early on Saturday, we were not offered any resolution. I was concerned, not for me, but for my 88-year-old parents.

This was by far the best experience we have had when it comes to taking a quick weekend getaway. Outstanding experience

Tucker Farm Cottage is beautiful! We had a great experience. It’s like being in the country but not far away from restaurants if you don’t want to cook. We had time with my grandson in Clemson, had dinner out, and then to the house for porch sitting, visiting, lots of talking and laughing around the fire pit😊. It was a perfect stay!

We loved everything about staying at Tucker Farm. The home is so warm and comfortable. The location amid horses, cattle and acres of open space truly made for an exceptional ability to relax and unwind. Meghan was super responsive and made us feel welcome. We came down to Seneca, S.C. for Thanksgiving. My family and I were meeting in Fair Play on Lake Hartwell. I needed a kitchen to cook in and this kitchen was well-equipped to cook meals in! We brought our 2 small dogs, and this place allowed us plenty of beautiful walks with them. We were very comfortable and loved the scenic views of the farmland. I would definitely recommend Tucker Farms Cottage. Thank you for a wonderful holiday stay!

Remarkably Beautiful

We adored this house and the stunning surroundings! We could only stay one night, and I hated to leave. I will be back! They had everything we needed. The front porch is where we hung out in comfortable chairs. The beds are like sleeping on a cloud. The kitchen is well stocked. The cows, horses and donkeys are so much fun to watch! Best VRBO rental ever! And I've stayed many places. Xoxoxoxo.

Great gem of a place

I have to say I hate to give a great review, because this is a gem of a place. Three great bedrooms, nice den with TV, kitchen, and super private and quiet. It was way better than I had anticipated and my four kids left saying how much they wanted to come back. We will be coming up there at least once a month over the next few months and we will come back and stay here. If you are looking for a nice, clean, comfortable, quiet space then this is for you. As a side note, there were air mattresses with sheets and blankets, BUT the pump to blow them up was battery operated and the batteries were dead. If you plan to use the air mattresses I would recommend bringing your own pump.
