Gut: Lage
Just a bit disappointed
We arrived and found that since we didn’t request our parking pass until the day before arrival (we were not told otherwise) we had to pay an additional $25 for a total of $40, due to the fact, the request needed to be done 48 hours in advance. Upon entry, we noticed 2 bugs crawling out of the kitchen sink. There was another one the next day. Our unit was the closest one to the road, which was a bit disappointing. One of the photos in the ad showed a small view of the beach from a window. We would not have chosen this unit, had we known how far away from the ocean it was.
The most upsetting part was that part of what we paid for the unit included a cleaning fee. So, why were we asked to run the dishwasher, take out the trash and gather all the towels, put them in the washer and run it before we left?
On a positive note, the bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The location was great and close to a lot of great places to shop and eat. However, we probably would not rent this unit again if we were to make another trip to St. Augustine.
