WE ARE BACK! Stunning Waterfront Home on Calcasieu Lake

Spacious 6 bedroom 4-1/2 half bath open concept home on beautiful Calcasieu Lake. Waterfront with 380’ foot pier, guest boat lift, lighted pier, fish cleaning table and seating area. Enjoy sunsets on the back balcony or the pier overlooking the wide open lake. Covered downstairs area provides large additional space for barbecuing or seafood boils, with Gas Grill and Boiling Equipment provided. Additional powder room located downstairs for convenience. Main house has 2 master king bedrooms with small en suite baths. Guest wing includes 2 queen bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms, each their own vanity, sharing jack and jill baths. Also included is game room with game table/wet bar/television and seating with beautiful wetlands views. Guide service pick up available at our dock. Catered food available for delivery with prior notice. Inquire.

This was our second visit to this property and, once again, it was outstanding. Check-in is super easy and the house was spotless. The house has everything you could need and all equipment and appliances are in great shape. Cold air conditioning for the August heat and even an ice maker for your favorite beverages.The fishing pier is very nice and has a sink with running water and plenty of lights to attract the fish. We caught two small sharks, two alligator gar and several keeper trout. The best part was the 42 inch red drum we caught on mullet. We released it so it's still out there.

Awesome Couples Fishing Trip

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful property with my family and I. The photos did not do it justice. The home provided everything we needed and more. It was spacious and clean and we had a blast. The night fishing from the pier was so peaceful. We didn’t catch a lot of fish, but it didn’t matter so much, because of the calmness of the night out there on the water. My family, friends and I had a blast and truly appreciate you sharing your home with us and look forward to returning in the near future.

Family Gatering

This was a family gathering with 7 adults ranging in age from 81-39 and 4 children ages 2-13. The facilities were clean, well maintained, supplied with everything we needed and provided spacious accommodations while providing individual family privacy as needed. The owner was very approachable and provided well written instructions & information in a binder located in the family room. It was a most enjoyable 3 day weekend stay in spite of the near gale force winds that blew continuously until our day of departure. But this is no reflection on the camp. I would definitely rent again.

Great fishing getaway

Some friends and myself chose this house for a 3 day get away for some fishing and gambling. This house checked all the boxes and we will be back. The set up of the bedrooms was awesome as it gave the six of us each our own room. Within a few minutes of being there, we were able to throw a cast net halfway down the pier and get plenty of bait for fishing. The pier was perfect because there were six of us. We had plenty of room to each cast our lines and pop up a chair without being on top of one another. We also caught a ton of fish!! We decided before we left. This will be an annual trip at this house specifically.

Perfect Family Place!

This property was immaculate. It has tremendous amenities and a large kitchen/dining/family room that was perfect for our large group. The kitchen in particular was amazing, as we enjoy preparing family meals. The covered dog run was perfect for the rainy times, and the wagons and folding chairs came in handy for the pier. The fishing pier was huge and the covered portion was perfect for the rainy times. We caught sharks, large alligator gar, speckled trout, black drum and flounder from the pier. The host was very helpful and I would heartily recommend this property.

Beautiful Home

This property was perfect for our family reunion. We had 6 adults, 3 teenagers, and 2 younger kids. There was plenty of space for everyone! The house was spotless, had everything that you could need, and was so comfortable. Communication with the host was also so easy. Highly recommend this property!

Beautiful property located in historic Old Settlement on Calcasieu Lake. Enjoy lake views from the back and marsh views from the front. Located 20 miles from Lake Charles and easy accessibility to the airport, shopping, casinos, golf, excellent restaurants and numerous family activities, if you can pull yourself away from the fun and relaxation of the lake.

Boudreaux's Guide Service or Louisiana Backwater Charters will pick you up from our pier for a guided fishing trip and return you to the house and clean your catch there. See their websites for details and arranging your guided fishing trip.

Boat lift provided should you bring your own boat. Nearest launch is Calcasieu Point Marina. Spicer's Marina in Hackberry is the nearest fuel and bait and is an approximate 10 minute boat ride.

Five fishing lights provide the opportunity for night fishing and lighted cleaning table for cleaning the catch. Swing and benches provide additional seating for sunset watching or fish catching.

Game Room provides additional space to hang out. and includes a couch, television, game table and wet bar.

Covered downstairs area is separate from parking spaces and provides an excellent place to set up for barbecues or seafood boils. Gas Grill and Boiling Equipment (Propane Tank and Boiler provided), along with folding tables and chairs. Rocking Chairs downstairs offer relaxing place to enjoy the breeze blowing through and our beautiful marsh view in front of the house. Convenient downstairs powder room.

Gray Plantation Golf course is an excellent course open to the public and is a 10 mile drive from the house.
