The place is great. The only problem we had is the floors where not mopped so when walking on them our feet where black. Otherwise it was great.

Even though this property isn't directly on the beach... We still had the most beautiful view of the ocean! It is directly across the street, easy, quick access! Lots to see and do here! too bad the pet thing didn't work out as the whole family could've enjoyed the time, but thanks for the memories! We will be back!!

Super nice condo. Not as clean as I have seen before. Surfaces needed wiped off bathroom needed wiped down. Floors moped. Friend cut door on glass on balcony floor first hour there. Other than that great location. Lots of space. Condo great. Cleaning crew not so great.

Convenient Location

We enjoyed our stay. The room was right next to the elevator which made it easy to find and easy to get to. The views of the beach were better than in the picture! The room was in the second building across the street but the overpass walkway made it safe to cross, but there was an elevator transfer process to get downstairs. There was a food and bar stand. I didn't get any food there but the convenience is nice to have. The bottom of the condos had an ice cream and restaurant/bar and there were activities within walking distance. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy. The kitchen lacked some basic cooking utensils and the Keurig did not work. But they had a regular coffee machine and a blender. We cooked all our meals here and everything else worked properly. I would definitely stay here again.

Few flaws-however overall satisfied

You never know what to expect when staying in a hotel or condo. I was initially irritated at the cleanliness of the condo when we arrived there was some cleaning that should have been done a little better but we are humans and miss things sometimes. The listing says beach view and that is correct- you can view the beach over the top of another building across the street. Being optimistic I count it as a win I could sit on the balcony and see the waves even if I couldn’t hear them. It’s on me for not reading better to find out the condo wasn’t beach front. While I understand everyone’s views on marijuana differ I wish I would have been able to enjoy my balcony with my family and not have to worry about the constant smell of weed and how I am going to explain to my employer that I wasn’t the one smoking it, just every neighboring condo and the ocean wind blew it towards my balcony lol. (That’s not on the owner of this condo just beware if your employer tests because I could legit see clouds of smoke at times). I usually would expect a little more for the amount of money I spent for the week, but I booked super late and the laws of supply and demand screwed me, lesson learned. Overall the condo was good and if I can get it at a better price next time, I absolutely will stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay.

The floors were very dirty I understand sand, but black feet within mins of being at the condo was not ok. No fitted sheets. Other than that the condo was Great, location was Great, Beautiful view of the gulf. Would stay here again.

Not clean.

This property was not properly cleaned. The floor was disgusting, it turned our feet black so we had to wear shoes or socks when inside. There was sand in the beds so we could tell the sheets were not properly washed before. The dishes were gross and sticky. There was a debit card left from someone else as well as a list of codes to other condos. Overall, we were very disappointed that we paid about $900 for this stay and had to clean the condo before we could enjoy our trip. Owners need to be notified that the cleaners they pay do not do their jobs at all. I would like to speak to the owner if possible because it was ridiculous.

Nice condo, dissapointing resort

The condo itself was nice. The facility was very dissapointing. We paid $40 for two parking passes and I spent over 40 mins driving through both garages which were full to then be told to "just find parking elsewhere." Front desk staff and security were VERY rude. The guestroom tub wouldn't drain at all so we didn't use it much. The rest of condo was as described, clean and fairly priced. I wouldn't stay at the resort again personally but it was not due to the room itself.

Cassandra, we appreciate you taking the time to provide us with some feedback regarding your vacation rental experience while staying in Grand Panama 2-705, a two-bed, two-bath condo in Tower 2 of Grand Panama Beach Resort in Panama City Beach. We are happy to know that you thought this condo was nice, fairly priced, and as described. Please accept our apology for the tub not draining properly. We would have been more than happy to try and remedy this issue had we been made aware during your stay. Yes, Real Joy's website states that "upon arrival at Grand Panama, guests must check in at the front desk in Tower 2 to purchase parking passes and wristbands for $20.00. Limit of 2 parking spots per reservation during peak season." We apologize for any difficulty you experienced trying to park and for the staff of this resort being rude. Although we completely understand your frustration, we unfortunately have no control over such issues at any resort property. Thank you for your patience and for choosing Real Joy.

Great room close to everything

I booked this online not knowing much about the area since I am an Iowa resident. The listing was pretty accurate to the actual property. The pictures are a true representation of the property as well. There are 2 pools, one in each building shopping is with in waking distance and pier park is only a few miles car ride. The ocean was about 2 city blocks away from tower 2 where this room is located. I seen a bunch of reviews about the “elevator situation” but I had no issues with elevators in either building. This room is literally in front of an elevator to so it was super convenient. My only real criticism is that the floors were not cleaned properly there was sand and black particles all over the floor and in the tub and the backs to the remotes were missing. But both of those things were not a true issue for me or my family we made due but it might be a bigger deal to others. I had a great time and my family did too. I can’t wait to book again. Pro: close to beach, accessible, cozy Con: none.

The unexpected

This property was not cleaned property. There was dust everywhere. The floors had not been swept. I’m truly disappointed with the unit as my family have been coming here for over 10 years.

Some hiccups but over all a good stay

When we arrived, neither of our beds were made, linens laid all over the bed and pillow sitting in top of lamp etc. my little girls feet were black from walking barefoot on the floors where were supposed to be comfortable to take shoes off and walk around in our condo we paid good money for. I have pictures, the condo was not cleaned. We arrived around 5 when checkin time was at 4. Two people that were non English speaking finally came to our room to make the beds and clean the floors around 745. We waited and waited, our first night was a bust we didn’t get to go to the beach or leave for dinner Bc I was waiting to hear back from someone about our room cleanliness. The two that came to clean poured the mop water on the floor after sweeping a huge pile of girt and filth from the floor. They basically pushed the floor cleaner around just smearing the dirt around on the floor. They did not use ANY water and they did not rinse the mops. They used dry p cloths to push the mop water around on the floor. The floors stayed moist and damp the whole trip and we had to wear shoes the entire time in our condo. Other than the cleanliness the condo was nice and spacious. There is no longer a table on the balcony as pictured and there is not a coffee pot as I was told and as pictured. We bought one and left it for the next Family. Close to the beach but elevator situation was tough at times. Pool was nice. Somebody dropped off a gift card for the cleanliness of the room, however I never got speak to the property manager after I asked via text several times.

Great long weekend!

We stayed in tower 2 which is across the road from the beach. Never really had issues with waiting for an elevator or locating a luggage cart which I had read from other reviews. We had an awesome time! Thanks to Grand Panama and the staff for a job well done!

Great location!

My friends and I came here for spring break and everything was amazing! The check in process was a little confusing but the house was clean, the kitchen was well stocked and there was a pedestrian bridge to bring us right to the beach. I would definitely come back!
