Cute two-bedroom cottage nestled in the woods beside a beautiful romantic wedding venue! Sleeps 4 comfortable but can supply you with a blow-up bed on legs if we know prior to check in for an additional $40. There is a couch in the sunroom off of the master bedroom that would be suitable for younger adults. House has an open den with gas logs in the fireplace! Nice wrap-around deck overlooking the wooded lot. You are close to downtown but feel like you are way out in the country once you get settled into this cozy cottage.

It was a beautiful cottage eclectically decorated. The natural surrounding area was peaceful, with a walk around the farm across the street, met some donkeys. It was a fantastic stay.

We loved our stay at Vanstella Cottage. Angie is a great host and the attention to details she put into the house really shows. Outside, we really enjoyed the large deck and the ping pong table. Inside, we enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen, the super comfortable beds, the large selection of books and games, and the sound system. The cottage had the feel of being in the mountains while being very close to downtown Kernersville and Winston-Salem. Highly recommended!

Our host Angie was great. Amenities were unbelievable. The outside deck had lots of furniture and provided both sun and shade and a heater! The beds were incredibly comfortable and plush. The sun room was a surprise bonus. Beautifully stocked kitchen items including coffee, etc. Bathrooms stocked with every basic need and extras. Deer and squirrel and birds entertained us on the deck. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this clean, extremely tastefully decorated home with any and everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. My family came for the day and we were able to cook and have a great meal together. The linens were top notch and the sunroom off the master was so great to sit and enjoy nature. Books, games and plenty of things to do. In my opinion the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. I hope to come back and enjoy it again. Comfortable beds and furniture.

Our family has traveled from Florida to NC for decades and have sought the peacefulness, tranquility and outdoors life that is endemic of the state from the Outer Banks to the Smokey Mountains. We have had awesome vacations from Highlands to Blowing Rock tremendously enjoying the natural beauty and outdoors living and wonderful people of these great areas. We are absolutely adding Kernersville and most especially Vanstella Cottage to our must travel to list ! Vanstella is a wonderful 2 bedroom cottage that is so very warmly appointed and decorated and is so extremely comfortable and makes one feel instantly at home. Out of every window is a complete view of NC greenery, woods and open farm views that are owned by our Hosts. Our Hosts could not have been any kinder and wonderfully concerned that we were set up with everything we needed. We were celebrating the grad school graduation of our daughter from UNC Greensboro and Vanstella was beyond perfect ! yThe wrap around deck, the ample grounds surrounded by woods and using the awesome outdoors ping pong table brought me back to my youth growing up in the NJ suburbs.Vanstella is a perfect setting for a small family reunion or a great vacation to tour the Triad area- the Jo Lo Winery and Pilot Mountain are close by. Kernersville is great. Every convenience is close by - Wal Mart, Aldi, Lowe’s, etc. 3 restaurants we loved- Outwest, Don Juan, North Italia.Vanstella is truly very special, and we cannot wait to return !

This cottage couldn’t be more charming! The location was absolutely perfect for us while attending a show at the Benton Convention Center—just minutes away, yet it truly felt like a peaceful retreat in the country. We were only about five minutes from great dining and shopping in Kernersville, which made everything so convenient.The décor is gorgeous and thoughtfully done, creating such a warm and inviting atmosphere. Even the college kids with us commented multiple times on how much they loved the house—which says a lot!The host has truly thought of everything. From welcoming touches throughout the home to helpful extras like curling irons, cologne, and even fingernail clippers, it felt like nothing was overlooked. The sunroom was a favorite spot—perfect for relaxing with one of the many books available in the house.On top of all that, the host was incredibly responsive and quick to answer any questions. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely return!

We have lived in Kernersville for 50 years. We bought the Smith Farm in 2013 and decided in 2015 to turn the old farmhouse and barn into a beautiful wedding venue and we named it after the owner's Will & Stella Smith ( WILLSTELLA FARM). We have hosted over 150 weddings so far. We were privileged to be able to buy the cottage from one of the siblings that were born in the farmhouse. This cottage is nestled in the woods far enough from the venue but close enough to feel the magic of taking you back in time to when porch sitting and relaxation was more common. We are sure you feel very rejuvenated after your stay at the VANSTELLA COTTAGE. The cathedral ceiling and gas logs in the den create a great room for hanging out and chatting and the wrap-around deck overlooking the wooded lot adds another great conversation area. Both of our statement bedrooms will definitely give you a good night's rest with lush linens.
