Quick Getaway

The condo and grounds were beautiful. Had the most amazing views. Our only disappoint was not being able to use the hot tub, some of the family were really looking forward to that. We would definitely stay there again!

Turquoise is so nice and condo has so much room! Great place to stay!

The condo is so roomy. The closets are almost as big as br's! Great for large group w tons of counter space and porches are massive! This unit has view of beach and bay and bridge to Perdido, which actually a great view more so than the beach we thought. Hot tub was amazing and overall, just a great experience. To have a bar and food and pool, is just a great bonus too. I would stay here again for sure!

Family Vacation to Orange Beach

The location is wonderful. The condo could use some maintenance. The mattresses were saggy or lumpy; grill did not work without utilizing a lighter to light it (igniter button for gas grill was broken). The unit itself is beautiful with amazing views but some updating and general maintenance in several areas would make it spectacular.

AMAZING VIEWS

First off, communication with owner was A+. If she was unavailable, the answering service was quick to answer; not that we had any issues. The views were amazing! The floor space was perfect for our group. We all slept great, ate well, and got plenty of sun! We can't wait until next year to try out the new amenities they were in the process of constructing. And no, we never heard the noise unless we were outside. I certainly would recomend this unit to anyone with a large group!

Great time at Orange Beach!

We had a great stay. However a few concerns about the condo. First overall was clean and stay ready. However the oven in the kitchen was left dirty and everytime we tried to use it, it would set off the fire alarm. Also towels and wash cloths were not good quality. Rough and very much used. Pics on the showing does not depict how it really is. Needs to be updated. Overall, we had a wonderful trip!

2701C stay

When we arrived the first thing we noticed was the condo didn’t look like the photos. There was stuff on the couches. The bedding in the master bedroom didn’t fit the bed. Most of the bedding looked old and worn. The microwave had food in it. The dishwasher had dishes in it. The coffee pot still had coffee grounds in it. The floor had food on it. All the towels in every bathroom were wet and had black stuff on them. I had to rewash them. The hot tub wasn’t working. I contacted the answering service and she had someone come clean and fix the hot tube. We had workers in our condo pretty much everyday. The patio furniture isn’t the best. One chair was broken. They did refund our cleaning fee which was greatly appreciated. Condo was not worth the money we paid for it. We have stayed at Turquoise several times and never had any issues. We will not stay in the condo again.

Disappointed

We rented over New Years. I will never rent from this management company again. On 12/20 the Turquoise's mgt, Spectrum, let Owners & Managers know that the hot tubs might have a bacteria in them because of a guest who was sick earlier in Dec & they shut down all balcony hot tubs. Guests who used other mgt companies were told before their trip. We were not. The building had multiple busted pipes & broken heaters Christmas weekend, so when we arrived all but one pool was closed. Again, other mgt companies told guests before their trip. We were not told. The Freedom card is worthless. We called to book golf & they didn't know who we were. We called to book fishing & they are closed 5 months/year. Communication with this mgt company was poor before, during, & after the stay. When we got there at 5pm w/ 8 ppl & read about the bacteria in hot tubs mgt co offered for us to leave & get a refund. But I could not find a large rental less than 24 hours out. Mgt co knew that was an empty offer.

Worst Trip Ever To Turquoise Place

Let me start by saying that my family of 5 has stayed at Turquoise Place in Orange Beach once or twice a year for the last 13 years and have never had such a disappointing time as we just did in 2701C. The overall experience with the rental agency that manages the unit is not helpful what so ever and offered zero resolution to any of my problems and literally said “that my concerns were more of suggestions then issues”. So if you do decide to rent this unit be prepared for the following problems. All the furniture is worn out except for the couch which is very uncomfortable, the vent hood exhaust does not work and makes a noise all the time, the garbage disposal does not work, the water in the unit has a mind of its own and will cut off automatically while people are showering, the front door slams shut and is definitely a hazard for small kids, all the walls are scuffed up, some bedrooms get hot during the day while others are very cold (with drapes closed), and lastly the kitchen sink clogs up. There were several other issues which were called suggestions by the rental agency which are no beach towels, weak on kitchen accessories, 1 wine glass, kids bathroom tub damaged, no toilet paper holders or towel holders in most bathrooms, blind adjusters broken or missing, open hole in ceiling where I believe a smoke detector use to go, balcony door sticks, and the balcony furniture is terrible. My opinion on this property is that there is zero personal touch of a active owner.

When we checked into the unit, it was immediately apparent that this condo is not as advertised. The common area furniture was completely different than pictured, and not in a good way. The couches are filthy, full of embedded human hair, and very worn—they look like they came straight from a frat house. There was food and dirt under most if not all of the furniture and on the rugs, even an empty beer can under a dresser. The chairs around the dining table are cheap, very worn and too short for the height of the table itself. The short game-style table and puffy ottomans were gone. There is missing hardware in several bathrooms, including the basics like toilet paper holders. The patio furniture is completely different than advertised. Pretty much everything was cheap from the silverware to the linens and towels. Most alarming however is the mold above the stove range and in the bunk room bathtub—you cannot bathe a child in this. I sent this feedback at the beginning of our stay, and instead of receiving a phone call from the Property Manager with a remedy much less an apology, I was lectured for over 10 minutes about my feedback. I was also told that the unit is typically listed at a higher rate per night…so that should make me feel better about these conditions? It’s not peak season, many of the units are at a lower rate this time of year. My family and I absolutely loved Turquoise Place, but I will never use rent a unit from this property management company again.

Family get away

At first glance it was beautiful. The layout and the view were amazing. The furniture, bedding, lack of towels for that many people needed an update. The cleaning people did a terrible job. There were fingerprints all over the microwave, mirrors, and inside windows. St one point my husband got the vaccuum and vacuumed the dust from AC unit because it was so thick. Our main issue was the number of maintenance people in and out of the condo numerous times daily. I understand things like the hot tub have to be checked but some people would just show up unannounced while we were trying to get ready. It definitely was not relaxing because you didn’t know who was coming in at any given moment…. The Turquoise is our favorite place to stay but this particular unit needs some TLC

Overall great stay! The condo was not cleaned as well as we thought. Socks under the beds, empty cans behind the hot tub and in the master bedroom. The jacuzzi in the master bathroom did not work at all. Things in the condo need to be updated. The leather chairs around the table were not comfortable due to the leather getting older. Overall the stay was great but there are some things that need to improve before we return to this particular one.

Best view in Orange Beach

Loved this condo! The design is so cool with odd shaped and curved rooms. Some of the furniture is a little worn but typical of a beach condo. The view is truly the very best you will find in Orange Beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall good stay

The size of this unit and views are incredible and sure makeup for the issues. We had 2 broken chairs on the patio when we checked in, very little cookware and hardly any silverware to use for the size of the unit, it was not cleaned very well so we had to do some deep cleaning the firs night, no iron. Just an ironing board. Beds were pretty comfortable, and we didn’t let the negative overshadow this great unit! Our family had a wonderful vacation! We love turquoise place so much!

Photos are very deceiving

Location and water views are great… the uni needs some tlc, we won’t repeat here! Poorly cleaned, found a fingernail in one of the bunk beds… scarce towels, (we were provided with more after asking) dishwasher was full of dirty dishes on check-in…the grill is in poor shape and Is a hazard to say the least…tvs without remotes, the most uncomfortable beds, torn bedding and drapes, broken patio furniture- for top dollar pricing, we’re definitely used to better quality.

Beautiful and big! Perfect location with great parking. Wonderful for families. The owner was so nice. Glasses and iron were missing but probably due to previous guests!!! Ice drawer was great to have. The beds were all comfortable. We love Turquoise Place!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Turquoise Place. As other reviewers have mentioned, furniture is not as photographed and looks a little tired. Other than that it was a great stay, great view. We love Turquoise Place!!

Orange Beach Family Trip

The condo was very clean and nice. We arrived earlier than our check in time of 4:00 pm, but we were not allowed on the property at all. We asked if we could park and just go the beach behind the property while our room was being cleaned. We were told "NO". We asked the property manager to text us when our room was ready, but we never did get a text. We went back to the property at 4:00 pm and were allowed on the property at that time. The front desk allowed us to check in at 4:10 pm.

Will stay again

Lovely condo with stellar views. Worth the cost and the time to travel there. Check in was a bit of a hassle because of travel delays. Front desk wouldn’t allow other invited guests per the reservation to check in without my driver’s license. Had my flight not been delayed twice I would have missed the face time call requested to allow my brother and his pregnant wife to gain access. Would have liked more towels also, they were low grade and old. Again, it was worth the minor hassles and will be the next time we stay.
