We had an excellent stay at Shades of Summer. There was plenty of room for our three families with adult kids. We all agreed the location was fantastic-super convenient walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

My family and I truly enjoyed this property. It exceeded our expectations. The rooms were all accommodating with their own bathrooms and comfortable beds.The kitchen was well equipped and the double refrigerators and dishwashers made the ease of a large group so manageable and stress free.The pool was a family favorite! So fun and clean! The beautiful house and convenient location made this one of our best vacations!!!

Great location and setup for multiple families!

This house was perfect for our large group. The bunk room with its own sitting area was so nice for the kids. All beds were comfortable, and the location can’t be beat! The house could use a good deep cleaning, and some of the rugs were stained, but we would definitely stay here again!

Perfect house for a group of friends...

We were four couples on our annual trek to Grayton Beach and this place could not have fit us better, with room to spare - we could have fit another couple abs 8 kids! Just steps from the Red Bar and the beach. We’ll be back.

Great location

The house has an amazing location and a ton of space. We loved how each bedroom has its own bathroom. The house seemed to be missing the bare necessities that beach properties normally have (paper towel, extra toilet paper, salt, pepper, olive oil, etc...). So be sure to bring those necessities or plan to purchase everything.

Thanksgiving weekend

Amazing location. Very responsive staff. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen well appointed for a big dinners and lots of cooking including thanksgiving dinner which we had at the property with large family gathering. Could have used beach towels and chairs, more higher end cleaning products for hygiene, laundry, dishwasher, etc.

The perfect place for a big family reunion!

Had a family reunion with 15 adults. We loved the huge kitchen and big bedrooms each with their own bathroom! Having a private swimming pool certainly provided extra entertainment especially when we had room for our cornhole boards. The walk to the beach was easy even for the oldest in our group which were 82 and 81! Being able to walk to shops and restaurants and the younger adults having a place to gather worked out perfectly! Loved the amenities like the golf cart, bicycles, and little goodies left for us to enjoy. Thanks for a great time and we look forward to returning next year!

Summer Shade at Grayton - a Great Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was even larger than expected. Very well maintained and nice furnishings. Topically clean, but could use a deeper clean. Pool extremely nice, but would have helped to have had leaves blown away when pool was cleaned, so they would be tracked back into the pool. Overall, very nice experience.

Great Family House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We celebrated my mom's 85th birthday here with 4 generations of family members. There was plenty of room. The kids' bunk room was great for them. 4 single bunks and 4 double bunks. The pool and porches were wonderful for gathering. Kitchen well stocked. Convenient to the beach and Red Bar. Rental agency was prompt and accommodating.

Family Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spent a week in Grayton beach for a destination wedding. Our group had 18., 8 of which were children under age 8. The fenced in pool was a real security concern that was great! Each bedroom had its own walkout deck which was a pleasant retreat! The neighborhood had a homey feeling unlike the hotel type zone! Great space and great amenities!!!
