Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our cabin was very clean and well maintained. I liked that the floors were wood and not carpet. We loved the big shower. We also loved sitting on the back porch and watching and listening to the creek. It was very peaceful. There was a cabin on either side yet quiet and felt secluded. This is our new favorite cabin! We will definitely rent again. There was one thing that was bothersome and that was the wood smoke smell from the chimney. The drive to Gatlinburg was approximately 20 minutes which wasn’t bad.The management group Elk Springs- everyone that I talked to was very helpful and kind. Couldn’t ask for any better.

We were in town for the national park and to relax, and we were able to visit the park more than once and spend a lot of time relaxing. You can't beat the covered porch overlooking the creek. We used the kitchen a lot, and the barbecue too, which saved us money we weren't expecting- we didn't want to leave this lovely spot. Another note- getting to this cabin doesn't require any steep mountain driving. One hitch- I was surprised at first that the cabin was not in the "Elk Lodge Resort." I had been calculating trips based on a central Gatlinburg address without realizing their properties were not all in one place. It was great to be well outside of the bustle of Gatlinburg, though.

Plenty to do if you wanted a "down day" to just relax. Hot tub, fireplaces inside and out, rocking chairs on the porch, pool table, movie room. Couldn't have asked for anything more. The cabin was far enough away from everything but yet close enough too. Only slight disappointment was there is a church parking lot off to the side and a "driveway" on the other side of the creek. Probably not visible in the summer months when the trees are filled in. There was not much traffic when we were there end of March. I had expected it to be a little more secluded from the pictures; but it was not an issue

He brought his ps5 to connect to 9’ projection screen, the outdoor fireplace was ambient with hot tub hearing the babbling creek in the back. I want to go again just to stay in cabin and avoid the hustle and bustle of downtown Gatlinburg and to enjoy the beauty and nature that this place has.

You can hear cars and dogs barking at times. Was not a deal breaker for me or my son. The bed is firm but comfortable. Love the pillows. They were big and fluffy. Plenty of toilet paper and1 roll of paper towels. We needed help with the theater system and called Elkridge. They sent someone over right away and fixed a screen door shade while there. The place was also clean. I would book this cabin again.

When we first arrived, I noticed that the cabin had quite a few cobwebs in the ceiling/bed post of the main bedroom and spider webs hanging from the main area ceiling. The main bathroom shower also had a lot of cob/spider webs. The stone shower is a great aesthetic but needs a deep cleaning from top to bottom. The cabin did come fully stocked with dishes, towels, a small supply of laundry detergent, and linen. The check-in/check-out process was seamless and easy. I do wish that the swing by the creek was cleaned before arriving; it was occupied by many spiders and their webs.Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to enjoy it. The location of this cabin sits on the outskirts of Gatlinburg and is about 25-30 minutes from Pigeon-forge. Overall, we enjoyed this cabin and would recommend it.
