Excellent location. Extremely large, bright space. Bring good walking shoes. Edinburgh is very walkable, but it is uphill, both ways.

Amazing place and location

Spacious, grand flat in the heart of Edinburgh. Great local restaurants and coffee shops a few minutes walking, and 10 min walk to the Royal Mile. Views of the castle are stunning as described. Communication with property managers was very good and helpful. Highly recommended!

Wonderful accommodations

This apartment was a perfect place for a family. We had so much room for the kids to play while we could relax after sightseeing. It had a sophisticated and warm feeling and is perfect as it is so close to the castle, Royal Mile and public transportation. It had every convenience for a long stay plus it was right across the street from a park!

The Castle Terrace apartment is amazing. The apartment is very clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was a gift to be able to stay in the apartment. The location is convenient and the view from the apartment windows spectacular. We loved this place she and look forward to returning. 5 stars.

Located very walkable distance to many attractions. Furniture was comfortable, beds were nice, great castle views and we enjoyed our time. Didn't really use the kitchen much except for breakfast. Having a washer/dryer was a nice addition.

Great place close to everything

Lots of space with a fully stocked kitchen to include filtered water. You get used to the stairs quickly and it’s good exercise. Parking is close by but on the pricey side. Overall a wonderful place to spend a vacation and explore Scotland.

Property is exactly as advertised. Pictures very accurate of the space. Incredible views and great location. Amenities were great too and high end! Stairs were a bit of a challenge - but normal in Edinburg. Really enjoyed our stay!

We were very happy with this choice for our family. It worked very well and we were relieved that cot and high chair were both ready and waiting for us when we got there. We arrived in the middle of the night and entering was smooth and easy. Kitchen was fully equipped with nice appliances and all in all it was perfect!

Family stay with teens

Castle Suites was perfectly accommodating for our family of five with teens. The property is comfortable and has a fun, modern feel while still feeling very homey. Edinburgh Castle is literally just out the window. We enjoyed making a couple of meals together in the well equipped kitchen and also sampling meals at nearby restaurants. The location was ideal for touring and enjoying Old Town Edinburgh—we easily walked everywhere. We highly recommend a stay here!

Great location

This place worked for our little group of two couples and another friend. Two bedrooms with en suites, and a third bedroom, and the third bathroom in the main hallway. Big sitting area and kitchen area. Only thing to mention is the stairs up to the apartment - two flights give you a workout. Nice neighborhood and magnificent views of the castle!

The Perfect Spot

Our family of five felt like Royalty at this historic apartment with gorgeous views of the castle. Beautifully appointed with a mix of contemporary and antique furnishings, this home is delightful and comfortable. We all enjoyed fresh oysters at the farmer’s market just across the street on Saturday morning. Very convenient parking just across the street.

Terrific Apartment in Old Town Edinburgh

The Edinburgh Castle Suite was a lovely apartment with beautifully-appointed rooms and a stunning view of Edinburgh Castle - the night view of the lit up castle was gorgeous! The apartment is spacious and the kitchen was well-equipped, including a washer/dryer which was useful during our stay. The location was within a 10-minute walk to many of Edinburgh's historic sites and we enjoyed walking throughout the city. The apartment really had everything we needed and access to the property via lockbox was easy. We would definitely stay there again in the future and highly recommend it.

Great Location

We could not have been more pleased with this apartment. Everything needed is supplied and the building is well looked after. Any questions we had were immediately answered and the location is great between the old and new town, all within walk-able distance. the beds are comfortable and its a great place to recharge before your next exploration of the town. We had Chef Steven prepare a meal one evening which was wonderful. Food stores are only a short walk away and the views from the rooms of the castle are magnificent. Had a great time and look forward to returning one day!

Beautiful apartment in great location

Super cute apartment with fantastic views of the castle, great sleep, and easy check-in and check-out process. The only thing worth mentioning is that the walk-up to and from the apartment with luggage is not so easy- so pack light. This would not be a good apartment for someone with mobility issues or who has trouble climbing stairs. But otherwise, do not hesitate! The place is wonderful!

If you're seeking an exceptional stay in Edinburgh, look no further than this second-floor gem! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with unparalleled hospitality. Ivan and Eddie, in particular, went above and beyond, exemplifying what true concierge service is all about. Their professionalism and excellent communication skills ensured that every aspect of my stay was flawless. The property itself is a dream come true. It’s spacious and conveniently located, with only 50 stairs to climb—easy to manage and totally worth it for the breathtaking view of Edinburgh Castle from the window. The surroundings are equally impressive: nestled close to a plethora of restaurants, historical sites, and beautiful parks, you'll find everything you need just a short walk away. But perhaps the most memorable part of my stay was the warmth of the Edinburgh locals. The city’s friendly atmosphere only added to the charm of this wonderful accommodation. If you’re in search of a comfortable, well-situated property with exceptional service, this is the place for you. You won’t be disappointed!

Great for a sisters trip

Excellent location! This property was even better than anticipated. The apartment is extremely spacious and well appointed, and three full bathrooms is an absolute luxury. We were able to walk to all Edinburgh attractions and return to a comfortable home base. The beds are decent, the kitchen is well equipped and the view from the living room is priceless. The three of us were extremely pleased with the apartment. A few points to note: - one bedroom faces onto the street and can be a bit noisy, especially for light/poor sleepers. (The other two bedrooms face a lovely garden area and are quite quiet.) - in an effort to accommodate our early morning arrival, we were given clear and easy instructions to let ourselves in. However, there is no binder describing the apartment features or what to do on checkout. That said, there is nothing complicated about the flat and we didn’t need - or even try - to reach the managers (their numbers are listed in the apartment). - there are two full flights of stairs and no lift. We really had no issues during our week long stay. I would not hesitate to book this place again. This apartment is a true gem in a great city!
