Legacy 204 on 30A: Filthy, shabby, defective AC,WiFi, & lighting

The property manager was somewhat unhelpful.
The vacation rental was very dirty.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

We rented @Legacy 30A for 10 years. Unit 204 is drastically below standards of other units. It is atrocious,unkept,banged up,has filthy carpets with LARGE stains,dark dirt tracks. I had to clean inside & OUT upon arrival. I called Benchmark numerous times; they “offered” to reclean unit/replace carpet but NO follow through.Mold on cheap backsplash flaked off into the sink when washing dishes,fruit,vegetables. Cheap furnishings; bed underlining(s) falling apart; pullout sofa broken; bathroom cabinets/drawers covered in cheap plastic stick-on facade. Microwave under light, oven light,kitchen undercounter lights,lamps,patio lights,master bedroom ceiling lights don’t work. AC didn’t work for three days.Indoor temp escalated to 75 is NOT pleasant to cook in a hot, nasty kitchen.Traditions interrupted.Weather was cool,tried to sleep with the doors open but big bugs flew finally repaired after 3 days. We couldn’t visit inside because the AC wouldn’t cool below , we tried to play cards outside on the TINY patio table but couldn’t even see the cards because there are NO WORKING LIGHTS OUTSIDE.Had to use cell phone lights.The tacky ceiling fan in the master has missing globes/lights don’t work so we couldn’t light patio with adjacent lighting. Windows so filthy that we couldn’t clearly see the beach. Outdoor furniture: filthy, had to clean tables before we could sit/eat outdoors. Mold on outside window frames.The “designated work space” is a joke. BASIC Wi-Fi download speed = 5 Mbps or less; upload speed even less. The details quote space for 8 guests. 8 cell phones can’t function on that Wi-Fi, much less work remotely. Had to leave the condo to take care of urgent business.We couldn’t use the pool bathrooms because the workmen in unit 104 soiled it to unspeakable conditions.WE HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH DISGUSTING ACCOMMODATIONS AT LEGACY IN THE LAST
