NEUE LISTE EINFÜHRENDE PREISE !!

Wunderschönes neu renoviertes 3-Schlafzimmer-2-Bad-Wohnhaus auf der anderen Straßenseite vom Lake Dunlap (der Damm ist im Mai 2019 gebrochen, der See ist leer, der Guadalupe River fließt jetzt durch ihn). Die im Dezember 2019 aufgenommenen Fotos spiegeln den damaligen Wasserstand wider. Dieses Haus hat einen Steg am See, nehmen Sie einige Röhren und schwimmen Sie vom Fluss Bend (gleich die Straße hinauf) hinunter zum Steg, der ungefähr 30 Minuten schwimmt (abhängig vom Wasserstand). Das Dock ist auch ein großartiger Ort, um sich zu entspannen und ein Glas Wein oder Ihren Morgenkaffee zu genießen. Dieses Haus ist nur 5 Meilen von der Innenstadt von New Braunfels, der Schlitterbahn und dem Comal River!

Sehr geräumiges Wohnzimmer mit Schlafsofa, Liege, riesigem Sitzsack und zusätzlicher Sitzecke. Free WIFI und Smart TV (kein Kabel). Machen Sie ein paar Schritte in die voll ausgestattete Küche mit allem Komfort, den Sie von zu Hause gewohnt sind. Esstisch mit Platz für 4 Personen. Der zweite Wohnbereich verfügt über 2 bequeme Schaukelstühle und einen Smart-TV. Das Gästebad befindet sich in günstiger Lage neben der Küche und ist von den 2 Gästezimmern aus bequem zu erreichen. Jedes Zimmer verfügt über ein Etagenbett mit zwei Einzelbetten. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett, einen Smart-TV und ein eigenes Bad mit Waschmaschine und Trockner.

Die rustikale überdachte Terrasse bietet Sitzgelegenheiten und einen Propangrill. Riesiger Garten mit Feuerstelle und Trampolin für die Kinder oder einfach nur Sternenhimmel. Auf der anderen Straßenseite befindet sich der private Seeeingang mit Steg. Und das Beste daran ist, dass Sie Ihren Fellfreund mitbringen können !! Das Mindestalter für eine Reservierung beträgt 25 Jahre. Sie müssen sich in der Unterkunft aufhalten. Diese Unterkunft ist haustierfreundlich. Maximal 2 Haustiere kosten 25 USD pro Tag und Haustier. Pet nicht mehr als 40 Pfund. Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Hinterhof nicht eingezäunt ist.

We came down with 6 adults for college graduation weekend. This place gave us the space we needed and the ability to bring our dog along. This place was perfect for what we needed. Lots space, nice covered patio.

River Vacation

The home was able to accommodate our party of ten. Then living room areas are separated by the kitchen which allowed for privacy. The house is furnished with plenty of utensils and cookware but you will need to bring your own seasonings. Overall, the location was centrally located and the house met our basic needs.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were there for the comal and Guad. rivers. We didn’t expect river access so being across the street was not a deal breaker for us. If you have jet skis or a small boat, the dock access that comes with the house will suffice. It’s a nice quiet neighborhood. The home was very clean and well organized. I’ve stayed in rentals not near this prepared for guests and not near as clean. The owners were easily accessible by email and responded within minutes. I didn’t really need anything but had a question about trash pickup. Overall, nice home for our needs.

Reviewer Comments: I will say that the pictures are a bit deceiving the water front is not in your backyard it's actually across the street. The master bedroom bed is very hard, the grill was a bit dirty,no sugar for our coffee, lastly I would say the dining room chairs were also very old and uncomfortable. Other than that the place was fine for the family of 5 and a small dog.

Not enough bedroom and lot of pet hair

I have been to New Braunfels several times and stayed in various properties. First the property backside is not facing the River side. Posted Pictures are misleading. There is no fence and pets can run outside. Bedrooms are so small and mattress quality not great. No dishwasher and lot of pet hairs all over the place.

It is very clearly stated in the listing that the river access is across the street, and that you must walk across the street to get to the river access. I apologize if you did not see this prior to your arrival. If you had given us a call during your stay, we would have been more than happy to send out the cleaning crew if something was not up to par. Overall OK, but that heat

First, I would like to say that overall our experience was pretty favorable. The top items: -90% of the house was a comfortable temperature. -spacious area for games with fam -guest rooms served well -backyard was spacious as well -grill worked -had river access Opportunities -master bedroom and bathroom were not ventilated well (couldn’t use until corrected) -took two days of back/forth to get action out of management (did supply an AC unit on third day) -floors had not been mopped in a while (horribly dirty feet) -hope you are not the one left to sleep on the sofas

Hi Matt, thank you for taking time to review your stay. I am so sorry we have managed this home for over 5 years and never had any complaints about the temp in the master bedroom. We did send an ac tech and the next day we installed an window unit in the master. This has been the hottest summer on record with triple digit heat. We do use a professional cleaning service to clean our properties and inspect the property prior to arrival. We will speak to the cleaners about this immediately. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. Quaint little neighborhood in New Braunfels. The home is located across the street from the Comal River, however, after seeing signs DANGER ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK and a speed boat going by at accelerated speeds we decided that the river running behind the houses across the street was more of a docking area for boats rather than tubing recreation. We had a blast going to the Comal river, Shopping at the Gruene, swimming at Landa Park and on the way out we went to the Natural bridge caverns where they so generously kept our dogs in my kennels in a shaded area in the back. I might suggest a sign and roll of bags in the back yard to clean up after your pets because there was pet excrement left behind by the previous renters. I always carry pet pick up bags on my leashes so I didn't need any bags. The only other suggestion I may have is it might be nice to have a dishwasher installed soon to sanitize dishes properly.

Nice but 10 people is a stretch

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home is beautiful and completely updated, though the layout is a little odd. While they have sleeping for 10, make sure you take into consideration 1 full size bunks are for 2 people each. We knew this and brought blow up mattresses so that only 1 adult would be on each full size bunk. Kitchen was large and workable. Bathrooms were nice, master was unbelievable!! My biggest complaint...there is not seating for 10 people in 1 room of the house (we all wanted to be together to watch movies). The living room has couch that can seat 3 (it was the size of a loveseat) with a lazyboy and a small card table with two chairs (not meant for lounging).Dining area had 4 chairs. Then a weird second living area with only 2 comfy chairs. Not ONE place inside where we could all sit together. They would do so much better with a large sectional in main room and small sectional in the small living area. We all tried to sit outside but there was a yellow jacket problem. We found 3 different nests. They came out 2 different days to spray. Wasn't until the morning we left we could actually go out there.This house is beautiful and works 4-6 people but NO WAY for more than that.

It had 2 wonderful living areas and a spacious kitchen. This was close to the outlet shops, San Antonio and Austin. It was a quite and peaceful neighborhood and close to the water.

Nice size and clean.

Master bedroom bed is so hard we ended up sleeping on the pull out couch bed. Weirdly it was more comfortable then the actual bed. Trash can in garage still has trash in it from past visitors with diapers in it. (We had no babies). Also trash on dock is completely full. We really couldn’t get into the water because the visitors directly across the street had the access blocked with all their water toys. But all in all we had a great visit. Only real complaint we had was there wasn’t enough seating in the main living room for 7 of us to sit and visit.

Great family vacation

Beautiful home with easy access to the River. Owner even had kayaks and inner tubes for our use. Kayaks were a huge hit with the kids and grandkids. Home has every amenity you will need. Close to restaurants, grocery stores, and other activities.

It was okay..

I would have cancelled if I could have. I just don’t think this property should have been worth so much for a 3 night stay. I swept the floor and found a lot of white dog hair. I don’t see what the maids clean, you pretty much clean the place yourself all they have to do is wash everything. They don’t have a dishwasher so be prepared for that. I agree with the post before me that the rooms just weren’t big enough for sleeping 10 people and we had less people than that! The walk across to the river isn’t so bad. If you have children though you might want to accompany them as people drive like it’s a freaking highway on that street! It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great either wouldn’t stay here again.

Wonderful time

Overall we had a wonderful time. Didn't realize the property was so close to other properties from the looks of the pictures you couldn't really tell but once we got there the neighbors all kinda came out and welcomed us in right away. The people across the street by the dock were so sweet and knowledgeable and the man next door was very nice and friendly. We would definitely stay again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at Zipp Away. Note that the property is not on the waterfront and you have to cross the street (this was not clear to us from the description). All amenities were there. There was a Keurig machine although when I asked they told me just a drip machine. The waterfront and back yard are really great. Firepit was a great success. Yard is spacious. Recommend!

Chose this property due to the proximity to the river, wi-fi access, and ability to sleep ten. While I will say the house is very nice and obviously newly renovated, there is just no way you could possibly comfortably sleep ten people. The master was nice and large, but the subsequent rooms were barely larger than a walk in closet. The other two rooms consisted of a bunk bed/dresser in each. While the bottom bunk was full size, there is no way that two normal sized adults / older children could sleep on the bottom. Counting those rooms as 3 person rooms is extremely misleading. The river access was a joke. To say it was a hazard / accident in the making is putting it mildly. There was no way I would allow my child to risk life and limb attempting to access the river via the treacherous path available. Lastly, one of the reasons for choosing the property was wi-fi access due to my work schedule. That lasted one night for a few hours. So, we packed up and left a day early. Definitely a huge disappointment to my kids that looked forward to the getaway for months.

Thank you for the feedback. I am so sorry that this home did not live up to your expectations. We strive to provide a 5 star experience for all of our guests, so we are very sorry about this. We do feel that the pictures on the listing are an accurate representation of the home, bedrooms, and river access. There is one photo that does accurately represent the water level being down much lower from the dock, and is labeled that that is the current water level. All of these pictures were taken at the same time, but we understand that some of them look like the river is high, so we wanted to make sure to clearly show what the water looks like after the dam broke. Unfortunately Wi-Fi outages do sometimes occur that our out of our control. We would have been happy to send out maintenance to take a look at this though while you were here if you had given us a call. We understand this is frustration, and we sincerely apologize. If you would like to give us a call next time you come to New Braunfels, we have over 80 other properties and would be happy to apply a discount on your next stay. Thanks, New Braunfels Escapes

Family Vacation

We stayed at the property for 6 nights. The house itself was well-kept and the AC worked really well. We were comfortable. Things to note: The house listing says it is wheel chair inaccessible but it does not describe the split level and the steep steps from the living area to the kitchen. My in laws are not in wheel chairs but the steps where a challenge. We figured it out, but I would suggest adding a little more detail to the description. We had a relaxing week and enjoyed the area.
