Perfect home on a wonderful island

Perfect home on a wonderful island! Our family stayed on the island for spring break and we couldn't have asked for a better home to stay in.

Loved coming back!

Our first time coming to Chinocoteague in the winter and the 2nd time at this property. We had a fabulous time! The house has everything we could wish for to enjoy a week with the extended family.

A very nice location

It probably was nice. The house is very well. Kept up-to-date. Very nice. Easy to get from room to room. It’s just yardwork. Needed to be done and weeding Everything was great catching all of it. You will really like it there. Plant places to park. I’m right off Main Street.

Charming House

This house has a lot of charm and provided a great time for our family of seven! We only wished that the listing would have been more clear about What amenities are included, Such as toilet paper, soaps, bed sheets, towels, and etc. We were made aware of this in an email from the property management company about a week before we checked in. I don’t have a king sized bed so I had to go buy bedding just for our stay. Overall, we had a great time, but would choose a place with more amenities next time.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the home was dirty- dusty, utensils in the drawer had food on them, coffee spill on the pitch floor that was left, cobwebs throughout. There was an infestation of ants in the kitchen on multiple surfaces which made food storage and preparation a challenge.The grass was overgrown.I contacted the rental company multiple times about the issues. They did send the same cleaners to come reclean however only a couple of items were addressed- coffee spill in the kitchen, grimy ditch cabinets, and food debris under the kitchen island. After multiple complaints about the ants, someone was sent to spray the exterior which did help.The property looks great in the pictures but it is overstuffed with decorations and furniture. There are no unlocked closets available for use which makes storage of your things a challenge.I would not recommend Harbour Rentals or this home.The grass has not been cut and is somewhat overgrown.

The attic room was fun for the kids and the little touches of books/puzzles throughout the house really kept us all busy. Kitchen was very well stocked, and we. made good use of the fire pit in the evening. The neighborhood is quiet and neighbors were so friendly even to us visitors. I can’t recommend Harbour rentals enough, they were very responsive and kind throughout the whole process.

Perfect for us!

My family of 6 adults and 2 children very much enjoyed our stay at this property. I was a little concerned about only having one shower but this property has a wonderful full shower outside, affording privacy and ease of use. Perfect for showers after spending the day at the beach! Very clean and comfortable property with lots of space to spend time together or go off by yourself to nap or read. Highly recommend this property:)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay in At The Sea during pony penning week this summer. The House is very cute and comfortable. Very clean and well equipped. The one full bathroom and powder room both being on 1st floor and a few too many decorative nic-knacks on surfaces are really my only complaints. Location was very nice and walkable to downtown, Maddox Blvd shopping area, and carnival grounds as well as nearby restaurants snd grocery store. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and enjoy. Yard is large and beautiful. House actually has 5 potential sleeping areas with daybed in sunroom and full bed in attic room (AC not as cool in attic) plus the advertised 3 bedrooms on 2nd floor so very spacious with plenty of separate nooks for everyone to enjoy. Can’t wait to go back again next year. Would wish for a hanging clothes rack and some bicycles to make it completely perfect for us. Thanks again for sharing your home!

Great location & spacious!!

We all really enjoyed our stay. The yard was beautiful, and the house had room for everyone. Located off Main Street, we were walking distance from so many shops and restaurants. The coat racks in the bedrooms were so convenient, and the large dining room was great for games and eating together. The third floor was a perfect escape for the kids, and just an amazing space. We were impressed by how clean and well maintained everything was. The only downfall was that we had to declutter before we were able to move in. While the decor was nice, there was just so much. The counter tops were full of decor, leaving no room for our things. Otherwise, I would highly recommend!!

Trip to Chincoteague

We absolutely love staying here!! The house was beautiful, well decorated, and had a lot of charm. There is a ton of backyard space, and the property is walking distance to a bunch of shops and restaurants. When looking at the listing we thought there were only 3 bedrooms- 1 king, 1 queen, and 1 bunk bed room. When we got there we realized there is actually a 4th bedroom with a queen sized bed. Check in and check out went smoothly. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful interior, ideal location

As an art lover, I was enchanted by the interior treatment of this restored home--each room was, in effect, an art installation. As an accomplished cook, I truly appreciated the well equipped kitchen, and the great appliances. The beds were comfortable, the location near town center made everything walking-accessible, and the porch swing was a throw-back delight. But two things made for a less-than-ideal accommodation: there were so many things on surfaces and work spaces throughout the house that one has to move them in order to cook and to place one's things in living spaces and bedrooms...but the BIG THING is that the full bath and half-bath are on the FIRST floor, and the bedrooms are on the SECOND floor--making those late night/early morning bathroom visits a real challenge--and the property description omits the bathroom locations. But if that's not a problem for your family, then I recommend this visit to a delightful, well-loved home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is gorgeous and well equipped with everything our family needed for a perfect vacation. Our kids loved the large yard and exploring the hidden nooks around the house. Definitely worth a repeat visit!
