Great location and great management company overseeing the property. Super responsive. The location, you can take the elevator that is part of the Marriott Vacation Club down to the beach and be there in like 2-3 minutes.

can hear the waves crashing from the unit; excellent view and easy access to a wonderful, family friendly beach; unit was clean and well stocked; small kitchen but suited our needs; management was very responsive; beds were very comfortable; unit felt a little dated and getting worn but was cozy and comfortable.

Perfect location and size for us - two couples island hopping. We were close to the airport and many attractions. We easily accessed the rest of the island from this location. The view of the harbor was lovely.

Really enjoyed our 50th wedding anniversary here. Property a little worn and used but made it feel more like a home, not a hotel. Super service when we accidentally locked ourselves out one night. Highlights of trip National Botanic Garden, helicopter ride, Gaylord restaurant, and Lydgate beach—great for seniors—all close by. Would stay here again.

A Great Place for the family

This place is a great location. The initial impression was that it looks a bit bigger and more modern in the photos than in person. The deck is wonderful, the place is quiet and comfortable with all the amenities you need. Can't beat the location. A bit of updating is needed but didn't affect the quality of our stay.

Price and location

1The location of property was great with a balcony that overlooked the bay. Beach was within walking distance as were Dukes restaurant and Skinny Mikes with great shaved ice and ice cream. The place is basic, no bells or whistles, but it was very pleasant and was clean, beds were comfortable. It was a reasonable price.

Beautiful view

The location of this place is perfect. The only draw back and no fault of the property owners is these large beautiful windows let in alot of afternoon sun making the whole living room so hot even with the a/c units on. If we were gone in the afternoon you can't tell.

Unbeatable View

This is a great location overlooking the bay/harbor with nice shops, restaurants, and rental facilities close by. It's also close to the airport and about midway between Waimea Canyon to the West and the beautiful beaches on the north part of the island. The staff in charge of coordinating the rental are exceptionally friendly and provided great communication. The unit itself is a little worn and outdated, but the view from the balcony makes it a great value.

Retro Vibes - AMAZING View

Agree with other reviewers that this property is in need of an update, but we embraced it and LOVED the view & location. House gives off retro vibes. Recommend a deeper cleaning for now - lots of ledges and shelves that were in need of wiping down. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the sunsets were beautiful.

Wonderful Location

While the location and view are hard to beat, the appearance and upkeep are definitely lacking. Because of where this is located, renting will probably never be a problem. However, some updating, renovation and care by owners would go a long way. The property is very dated,

Fabulous Spot

The house was absolutely perfect for us. It has a “Three is Company” vibe that we enjoyed. We loved opening the deck doors and taking in the view and fresh air. The kitchen is small, but we could pull off eating at home and even entertained guests one night. The beach is great for swimming and lounging in the sand or the grass, and is a very short walk/elevator ride away. We rarely had to drive, as shops are nearby. We cannot wait to return. This was one of the best vacation stays ever!

Disappointed

Aloha Sabine, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Please allow us to speak to a few things mentioned in this review. It's worth noting that when this guest arrived late at night they were at the wrong property so we assisted them at 11 pm with locating the property. They were frustrated after a long day of traveling which is understandable. The refrigerator did in fact break the first day this guest was in-house with us and we had our maintenance team bring a new refrigerator the same day. We also HEAVILY compensated this guest for this inconvenience and we also gifted them a free very late checkout. The guest was very appreciative of our efforts so it's disappointing to receive a review like this after all of the efforts our team put forth to make this unfortunate situation right. This is the first we are hearing about flies as the guest did not mention this at all during their stay with us. Please note that all of our properties are treated by a professional pest control company every three months. We also have the carpets and upholstery cleaned twice a year so the carpets are cleaned on a regular basis. Ultimately we are sorry this guest did not have a perfect vacation as that is our aim with every guest. To any future guests who might be reading this review, please rest assured there is a brand new refrigerator that was installed in late December 2024. Mahalo, Kauai Exclusive Management

Awesome location and views…but

Excellent location and great views from the living area and small patio. Unfortunately, the unit is very dated. During our stay the refrigerator door would not stay closed and both AC units in the bedrooms were loud and struggled to cool bedroom. Property management was responsive, but no repairs were made. We were told the owner is planning a remodel.
