Unsere "Knotty Pine" ist eine gemütliche, urige Hütte aus dem Twin City gelegen ca. 4 Meilen von Turtle Lake, WI, und etwa 1 Stunde und 20 Minuten. Es wird auf einem Holz Menge am Ufer des Ober Turtle Lake gelegen.

Die Kabine verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer, Wohnzimmer, Esszimmer, Küche und Bad (Dusche). Es wird vier bequem schlafen. In der Kabine ist ein Feldsteinen Kamin. Sie haben Zugang zu einem privaten Steg und eine Terrasse mit einer Feuerstelle. Der vordere Deck ist mit Stühlen und Ende Tabellen zum Entspannen eingerichtet usw. und hat einen Gas-Grill für das Kochen im Freien. Es gibt eine kleine Achterdeck, die auch als eine ruhige und entspannende Umgebung verwendet werden kann.

Turtle Lake ist 458 acres und ist ideal für Wasserski, Angeln, Bootfahren und Schwimmen.

Es gibt mehrere ausgezeichnete Restaurants und Golfplätze innerhalb einer kurzen Entfernung von der Hütte. Turtle Lake Casino ist etwa vier Meilen von der Hütte entfernt. Die Barron County Historical Museum liegt etwa zehn Meilen von der Kabine entfernt und bietet einen Spaziergang durch einen frühen Pionier Dorf. Blazer Käse House liegt in Comstock und bietet eine exzellente Auswahl an Käse, Pasta und Geschenke mit italienischem Flair und ist nur eine kurze Fahrt von der Kabine. Die Stadt Cumberland ist ideal zum Einkaufen im antiken und Geschenkeladen und erleben die "kleine Stadt" Freundlichkeit.

a perfect little place with all the thoughtfulness you can imagine from our host. for 80 year old travelers, a bit difficult to get to the water, but the water was clear to the bottom at the end of the dock. a perfect setup for those a few years younger, but a pleasure just for the view. relax, this is relaxation at it's finest.

Delightful Cabin

The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Loved sitting on the deck overlooking the lake while enjoying an early morning cup of tea each day. Very peaceful. Wonderful week! (The listing says there is a pool; this was just a mistake, I'm sure.)

Pleasant spot on the lake

Very nice small cottage on the lake. When we had questions it was very easy to communicate with the property owner. Would definitely stay there again.

Disappointed

I want to preface this by saying that the cabin itself is very accurate to the listing. Altho, I'm not sure I'd qualify ice cube trays in the freezer as an 'ice maker'. The cabin is clean and very comfortable and has everything you need. Having said that..it would have been nice if the owner had mentioned the construction that started daily @ 6:30 am at the cabin directly next door. Obviously I don't blame them FOR the construction, but a 'heads up' would have been nice. We were also extremely disappointed in the quality of the lake, especially because I specifically asked the owner about it and they said it was 'a little green, but not scummy'. Well, I wouldn't even let my dog swim in that water. It was nothing but weeds and scummy grossness. So, the 2 main things I was looking for were a total bust: quiet and a swimable lake. Both things I asked about and was given, well not exactly truthful responses. We wouldn't stay here again.

Perfect Northwoods Cabin

Knotty Pine is an idyllic cabin nestled along Upper Turtle Lake. The cabin was perfect for us complete with all the amenities one would want. The cabin was clean and welcoming, and the layout of the rooms and view was ideal. Loons were calling in the mornings and to have coffee on the deck overlooking the lake in the mornings was storybook. I would give the Knotty Pine 6 stars if I could. One more thing, after a 1,500-mile drive to get there, I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Quaint Knotty Pine Cabin

Cabin very quaint & comfortable. Property experience exactly matched the listing. Pleasant deck, lower patio, and pier to choose from for reading, conversation, or just chilling. Kitchen had all basic supplies. Great grill for outdoor cooking. Nice fire pit for evening fire. Lake was bigger than expected but quiet. Did lots of kayaking and eagle watching! Would definitely return.

Charming lake cabin atmosphere with plenty of windows that have a great view of the lake. Sunrise is a spectacular event. Provided internet access and television service is also a plus. Overall a very enjoyable experience!

Rest and Relaxation at Knotty Pine

This was our second time we have stayed at Knotty Pine. The weather was perfect. The cozy cabin was just right for us with easy access to the private boat dock and lake. We could sit on the deck and watch the boats on the water. Inside the cabin we had all the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay. We plan to return next year.

My husband, dog Daisy and I rented for the weekend. This place is very cozy and cute. Turtle Lake is very pretty. Swimming probably is good earlier in the season before late summer algae forms- check WI DNR for water quality. With a dog, we have to stay on our toes with this kind of thing. Nevertheless, the view is lovely, and the property is charming. The proprietor is very accessable via message, and even preemptively gave specific "last leg" directions due to some navigation systems not getting guests to the place. We would definitely come back some time and stay again.

Cute cabin!

We chose this location to be close to home for a shorter getaway and we were pleasantly surprised! The patio area and dock is perfect for relaxing and the cabin was cute and clean. Would have loved a kayak or canoe to get out on the water! Would definitely recommend!

Very nice cabin, well stocked had everything I needed.

My family came up for a bbq, there was plenty of room. It was very clean and well organized. I brought my jet ski and had a blast. I would definitely rent this cabin again!!! Thanks for the fun weekend!!

Disappointed

The lake was full of milfoil so we couldn't swim off the dock. I specifically asked the host if we could swim and use our floaties off the dock and she said yes, never mentioning the issue. For me, the whole point of going to the lake is being able to get in the water. The cabin was clean and cozy, but I would not rent again. The host was also a bit rude when I asked if there was a toaster as we could not find it.

Turtle Lake cabin

The cabin has rustic charm yet is very cozy and comfortable. It had all the amenities we needed and I spent hours sitting out on the deck reading, watching the sunrise/sunset and doing yoga. The lake was clear and boat traffic not too bad for July 4th weekend. We really enjoyed the Turtle Lake pizza restaurant in town as well as a number of small stores selling local WI cheese/wine.
