This was our 3rd time staying at this property with our extended family. The property is so nice and the host has made beautiful improvements to the house. Home away from home

The house was very home like, had all the necessities that we needed less our personal things. Beautiful views, were able to see the northern lights the first night we were there. A couple of things were that we had to clean up the yard from goose droppings and the beach area from the dead crawfish, but after that we had no issues with either the rest of our stay, the other was that a couple of us would have preferred a softer bed. The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and the swim area. Overall our family enjoyed our stay and would come back again.ItwithistayBedharOveralvtrailer.

There were 11 of us and plenty of room for the most part. We would have liked more porch space for playing games and puzzling. Loved, loved, loved the waves and breeze! The kids,7,10 and 12 loved the beach, fishing off the dock and collecting crayfish! A very relaxing place! Highly recommend!

Great Property

The property had a great layout with nice accommodations for our large group of grandparents and entire family. We like to fish and the protected bay with dock was great for our 2 boats. We enjoyed the Adirondack chairs along the beach and enjoyed beautiful sunsets. The beds were comfortable. The downstairs bedrooms were quiet even when some people wanted to stay up later and play a rowdy game of cards. This was our second time stayin here and we would definitely come back again. Sonja was super responsive and we had a great time.

A hidden gem

This lake home has all the amenities of home plus so much more. We were in comfort during a recent power outage because of a back up generator in place. No worries as the storm passed through. This lake home is fully equipped for a stress free vacation. The sunsets and hummingbirds were delightful!

The property was wonderful! Clean, so many rooms to spread out in, lots of space to sleep! As a mom of 3, the room darkening curtains in the bedrooms were awesome! I usually have to put up sheets for nap time and at this place that was not needed! Huge bonus! The amount of extra supplies and little things we didn’t think of before coming was also great. For example, the kitchen has so many things you can use to cook! So helpful! The beach is great! So perfect for kids to play. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful!

We had an amazing time staying here. The house comfortably fit 3 families & had everything we needed. Sonja was easy to work with & quick to respond if we had a question. The best part was being able to walk right out the door to the beach! The sunsets were absolutely beautiful. Just what we were looking for!

The beach was the highlight of our stay-the kids just loved the water looking for stones and shells. Sand castles, water toys, kayaks and floaters. Walleyes were biting! The house has space and anything one might need. Sonja was very responsive. Would rent again.

This was our third year staying at ‘Beaver Lodge’. The house and full kitchen is great for our multi-family group. The beach and Leech Lake sunset are unbeatable. Sonja is alway very responsive and helpful.

Great place for a week at the lake!

Our family of five adults and two children, ages 2 and 7, had a great time at this property. The very large home is spacious and well thought out. The home is very well stocked and Sonja does a fantastic job at keeping her home very clean! Sonja is also a great communicator and responded quickly to any questions I had. We enjoyed the large, sandy, private beach. Leech Lake is very large so on windy days the little ones were a bit intimidated by the large waves but as an adult it was the most fun I've ever had swimming at a Minnesota lake. It was like swimming in a very large wave pool. Other highlights we loved: large three season porch, very nice deck, great downstairs family area, beautiful views, nice lawn kids can run barefoot on, fast wifi that was better than what we get in the city. Jim and I are busy professionals that travel often. I travel Internationally and have stayed at many vacation rentals in Europe. I've loved all of my experiences and knew that some day I wanted to be a host for a vacation rental. I have been looking for years to make that come true and knew I wanted that wonderful piece of property to be on Leech Lake. We are so happy that we found the perfect property!
Jim and I have four beautiful children and four grandchildren. They are all so excited to drop their bags at the door and hit the beach. We hope you will want to do the same and have the best time ever at our beach home.
