Diese wunderschöne Wohnung direkt mit Blick auf den wunderschönen Golf von Mexiko und die Wellen sind direkt von Ihrem übergroßen Balkon - genießen Sie eine Tasse Kaffee am Morgen oder einen Cocktail am Abend, während Sie den Sonnenuntergang über dem Wasser beobachten.

Die Wohnung Farbschema ist hell und friedlich, die Ihren Urlaub Entspannungsmodus hinzufügen wird. Vormittags werden häufig Delfine beim Spielen gesichtet, und das Nachtleben ist etwas Besonderes, da sich Familien mit Krebsnetzen versammeln, um die Abendluft, das Lachen und das ahnungslose Leben im Meer einzufangen!

Wind Drift ist eine 3-Bett / 3-Bad Wohnung, die Platz für bis zu 10 Gäste bietet, und ist der perfekte Ort für die ganze Familie!

Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett, einen begehbaren Kleiderschrank und ein eigenes Hauptbadezimmer mit einem Einzelwaschbecken und einer Kombination aus Badewanne und Dusche. Das zweite Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein individuelles, eingebautes Doppelstockbett mit zwei Fächern und einem passenden Queensize-Bett, einem Fächerbett und einem kompletten Badezimmer. Das dritte Schlafzimmer hat zwei Einzelbetten und ein Badezimmer, das über das Schlafzimmer und den Flur zugänglich ist.

Das große Wohnzimmer verfügt über ein ausziehbares Queensize-Sofa, einen großen bequemen Stuhl und eine Ottomane, zwei Sitzstühle, einen großen Flachbild-TV und einen Esstisch für 6 Personen. Die Frühstücksbar bietet Platz für 6 Personen und die Küche ist voll ausgestattet. Es gibt eine Waschmaschine und Trockner, Speisekammer und Zugang zum großen Balkon vom Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer.

Die Wohnung ist so geschmackvoll eingerichtet, dass es Ihre Seele beruhigen wird, aber wenn Sie das nicht erreichen, werden die Wellen direkt von Ihrem übergroßen Balkon!

Das Wind Drift bietet einzigartige Bootsausflüge für Gäste, die sich auf der anderen Straßenseite des Old River befinden. Sie können dort sogar Ihren Boots- / Jet-Ski-Anhänger unterstellen oder eine Leine von den Angeldocks lassen. Zu den weiteren Annehmlichkeiten zählen zwei Swimmingpools (einer an der Golfseite) und Slips für Boote, die je nach Verfügbarkeit vergeben werden.

The condo is just lovely with lots of amenities. The beach is beautiful and just a few steps away. There was some construction and painting going on around the building while we were here, but it was manageable and the crew was very nice and accommodating. We would stay here again!

Beautiful condo w/ many things you need to stay at the beach (well stocked kitchen, places to hang wet towels, hand held shower heads), but unit is definitely looking tired & worn down. Multiple things were broken (wall clock, dining room chair w/ a chunk broken off, vacuum cleaner, chips/cracks in glasses). Other guests have been rough on the unit. The bathrooms w/ standing showers are so small around the toilet that the toilet paper roll touches your leg when you sit down. We were unhappy that the listing doesn't mention all the restrictions they have on canopies at the beach. Those are minor things. Major issue occurred 5 min after arriving when the fridge's glass shelf collapsed out of the frame & shattered at our feet. I immediately called the property owner &, while attentive, she seemed more concerned w/ replacing the shelf than having someone come clean up the glass for us. Being a Saturday, no one was available to come that day. The vacuum in the unit was broken so we only had a broom & dust pan to clean up the glass. We spent 2 hours trying to clean up glass, which had gone everywhere (fridge, floor, countertops). With kids in our condo, I was worried about stepping on glass shards & knew the broom couldn't get up all the glass debris. No one came to clean on Sunday, & it was Monday afternoon when I threatened to leave a bad review that cleaners showed up to vacuum & mop the floors. This is a serious safety issue. I would stay here again but would expect issues.

We sincerely apologize for the refrigerator shelf breaking shortly after your arrival. We completely understand how frustrating and unsettling that experience must have been, especially with children in the condo. While we worked to source a replacement and coordinate assistance over the weekend, we recognize that the cleanup should have been handled more quickly and the cleaners dropped the ball this time and communication failed, and we apologise about that again. We have cleaners out there every day of the week, no reason it shouldn't have been handled that day. We are here 24/7. We've since reviewed our procedures to help ensure situations like this are addressed more promptly in the future. We also appreciate your comments regarding the condition of some furnishings and kitchen items, as well as the bedroom windows. We've shared your feedback with the owner so those items can be evaluated and updated a their approval. We also understand your comments regarding the beach canopy rules. Those regulations are set by the state and or county laws, but we'll look at how we can make that information more visible to guests before arrival. Thank you again for your honest feedback. We truly appreciate that, despite the challenges, you would consider staying with us again. We hope we'll have the opportunity to provide you with the five-star experience you expected on your next visit.

Great Location

We love staying at Wind Drift because of the location. It is a short walk from the condo to the water. We also love that it doesn’t seem as busy as a lot of other condos. There’s no building next to it, so you have lots of room to spread out. My only complaint is that this room had some areas that needed to be deep cleaned and the rugs were pretty dirty. Loved the ice machine and my kids LOVED the bunk beds. Overall it’s a great unit.

Property mgr. was very helpful and kind. The condo itself needed some cosmetic repairs and updates. The photos on VERBO made it look so new & lovely- which wasn’t quite the case. We had difficulty with the code for opening the gate into the parking lot on a couple occasions.

Got to the location and had no text about the door code. Did receive the gate code and had an offer for an extra night. It was very stressful because we had five grands with us. The cleaning ladies were there and offered to call the manager for me. I received a call and was told I had not signed the lease agreement. I did that before along with a copy of my drivers license. We sat in the lobby and I did this again.

Great stay!

We stayed at Wind Drift 301 in July. This was our first time visiting Orange Beach so we didn't know what to expect. Our group included my elderly parents and 3 older teen kids. We had a great time. The condo itself was well stocked, clean, and comfortable. We had no issues at all during our stay. Communication with the host was easy and responses were quick and checkin was simple. We never waited on an elevator and barely even shared with anyone. This end of the beach is pretty laid back especially since we were there on a holiday (4th of July). The parking lot does fill up quickly and parking across the street isn't ideal, but the crosswalk allows crossing almost immediately. The boat slips across the street were well maintained and we walked over there too take a look when we had to park on that side. Overall, I would recommend this condo and would stay there again.

Great location, not great communication or cleanliness

We were not given the checkin code ahead of time and I couldn't reach the property manager finally VRBO was able to reach them after multiple attempts. I also messaged 2 days before checkin asking for an early checkin and never even got a response. The inside is nice enough but the furniture and rugs are worn and dingy. The walls and ceiling in master bedroom/bath have dust hanging off them and mold growing on ceiling shower. For the price we paid I expected better. We still had a great time and the location/beach is wonderful. They just need to do a deep clean and consider replacing furnishings as they get dirty.

We want to first thank this guest for sharing their thoughts and opinions regarding their experience. This guest received their entry instructions 3 times; 2 emails were sent two days before their arrival and 1 email was sent the same day they arrived. According to our system, all the 3 emails were opened by the guest the same day they were sent. Inside the email is a door code, wifi info, parking instructions, etc. We are unable to offer early check-in during peak season, and this guest's reservation was for 2 nights starting July 7th. We always recommend when guests arrive that they alert our staff within 3 hours of any maintenance or housekeeping issues. We have no record of a call, text, or email from this guest regarding any issues. We will forward this guest's assessment of the homeowner's furnishings to the homeowner. For future renters: any questions about this unit or this review, feel free to reach out to us directly.

Family Vacation

The condo was great! Very spacious! Having essentially 3 master bedrooms gives you so much privacy when traveling with other couples. The kitchen is large for a condo in my opinion and was well stocked for cooking. The best part is the built in ice maker in the cabinet! Game Changer! I almost never want to rent another condo without one. We had no issues with the elevator and they were never backed up and crowded. We really had no issues that we needed to contact any one about. The only cons: Parking. When we arrived late Friday night both parking lots were full. The parking lot to this condo and the overflow parking across the street. We were forced to either park in a handy cap parking spot or a fire lane. There are several parking spots that you cannot get into if you are driving a truck, Tahoe, Yukon, etc. This issue however is not a reflection of the property owner or the condo itself. We were not out late any of the other nights so it was easier to find parking but I know I saw several cars not in parking spaces and people crossing a pretty busy road at night because they had to park across the street, so just something to consider. The room with the bunk beds does not cool as well as the other 2 rooms. I would recommend bringing a fan if you are a hot sleeper. The other 2 rooms however will freeze you out. Both of the occupants in the other 2 rooms were looking for extra covers at night.
