Excellent host, all about us being content without worries so we could focus on building memories. Extremely clean, comfortable bedding, 5-star hotel sheets, sunrise and sunset views that only GOD can provide… Kitchen was stocked with all we needed to homecook our meals. So very peaceful! FOREVER GREATFULL!!!

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful visit to Eagles Nest. It was a great layout for our family (6 adults 3 children). The location just minutes from Grand Lake was great for feeling the solitude of the woods but close to activities. We greatly enjoyed our time on the deck, cooking family meals, making smores around the fire pit and our great walks in the area. Kat has a lovely home.

Great location for west entrance to RMNP. House was well suited for 3 families of 12 to gather. Enjoyed the tree line view of the sunrise from the dinning room and deck. The bunk house was a hit with the kids! Kat was helpful and responsive with communication!

Grand Lake Escape

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Grand Lake. Our cabin, Eagle Landing, was nearly perfect. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a great location. Kat did a terrific job answering all questions before and after our check in.

My siblings, mom, and my family shared this cabin for a long weekend. We have been renting in the mountains at least once per year for 25 years. And Eagles Landing is one of our favorite spots. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. My boys LOVED the bunkhouse. At 10 & 12 years old we weren't sure how it would go but they loved being independent in their own building. This was the most well stocked kitchen we've ever stayed at--spices, pots & pans, and dishware. It's a great place with easy access to a paved road and SO CLOSE to Rocky Mountain National Park. Thanks so much, Kat for an amazing weekend!

Stay here! You'll be blown away by the amazing views and modern comfortable conveniences of home.

Property is well kept, beautifully updated & decorated and exactly as stated. Ample & spacious rooms, well tooled kitchen, comfortable and cozy beds and furniture. Plenty of off road parking. The views from the house and deck are stunning. The area was perfect for seeing wildlife such as moose and elk. Literally at the doorstep of Rocky Mountain National. Would highly recommend this property! We had an amazing stay!

Spacious home in a beautiful location

My extended family and I stayed at Kat's place and everyone loved it! There was plenty of space for our group, which ranged in age from a toddler to my elderly parents. The kids loved playing and sleeping in the bunkhouse and everyone had a blast relaxing and eating dinner on the deck, which had a beautiful view. It was a quick drive to Grand Lake. We cooked all out meals at the house and found it well-stocked. There are also a lot of supplies for families with babies and toddlers. I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent Mountain Getaway

We enjoyed the mountain getaway trip to Grand Lake! The home was spacious, clean, had ample kitchen items and great views. The property manager was very responsive, helpful and communicative. One thing to note is that the room with three additional beds is above the garage and not part of the main house. Wasn’t a big deal for us as our family staying there were teens but they did have to walk on the patio outside to get to the main house and bathrooms. Also, since it was summer the home could get pretty warm at times. Overall great stay and we’d love to stay again!

Perfect for large group

We booked this property for a family vacation. We had groups traveling here from across the country and were so pleased with how many amenities Kat provided. Our group had several small children and the deck area was a perfect gathering area for our entire group to spend time together. The house has an amazing view, and there is ample indoor and outdoor seating for large groups meals. Kat was a phenomenal host. She was easy to contact, and provided helpful information about the house and the surrounding area which made planning our vacation much easier! Hoping we can make it back for another stay!

Oh my goodness. I can not say enough good about this place and the people that own it. The home is beautiful, so warm and it felt like home. The views are spectacular! We had moose close by. They responded very quick to any questions. I feel like we could be good friends they were so nice. They even had a welcome gift for us. Would definitely stay here again!!! Exceeded our expectations.

Good value property with views. Few things were broken upon arrival but the host was very quick and responsive to take care of it. Cleanliness could be improved upon. Opened/used water bottle by bedside table, golf ball found in a bed, and main floor bathroom floors/floorboard covered in hair.

Amazing clean home, fully stocked!

The location of the home was perfect. We had 10 people in our group. There was tons of room for everyone. Free internet, tv (with all streaming services). We loved sitting around the gas fireplace out back on the deck. The kids loved the Bunkhouse. We brought our pontoon boat, there was ample parking in the driveway. The kitchen was fully stocked: crockpot, utensils, plates, bowls, etc. Everyone in our group had an amazing time. Communication with owner was top notch! Thank you to Kat and family for letting us stay in your home, so we can continue to make memories with our friends and family. We'd love to stay here again and cannot recommend it enough!

This property was the perfect base for our snowy adventures.Waking up each morning to breathtaking views of snow-covered peaks and the frozen expanse of Columbine Lake was simply awe-inspiring. The days were spent exploring the snowy trails, the crisp mountain air invigorating our senses. The frozen lake was a sight to behold, its icy surface sparkling under the winter sun.Evenings were equally enchanting. We gathered around the cozy fireplace, the crackling flames warming us after a day in the snow. Sharing stories and laughter, we created memories that will last a lifetime. The accommodations were comfortable and well-equipped, providing a warm and inviting retreat from the winter chill.This trip was a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The peacefulness and beauty of the snow-covered landscape around Shadow Mountain and Columbine Lake rejuvenated our souls. Fantastic!

We stayed at Eagle Landing with a friends group on our trip to Grand Lake over Christmas 2022. There were three families and kids ranging from 9 to 21. The house had ample room for each family group to have some privacy but big enough common space for us all to be together, too. The house was better than described in the listing. Kat had it decorated for Christmas! The view was postcard picture perfect. 100% recommend this house! We can’t wait to go back again!

Perfect house for thanksgiving gathering

We live in the community and needed more space for hosting Thanksgiving. This house was perfect. Loved that bedrooms were across 3 floors and above garage so family could be together but have privacy. The kitchen was well stocked. And the views from the dining room and deck were outstanding. Our family was so impressed. Lovely memories were made. I’d definitely recommend to anyone.

Amazing Property!

We had an amazing stay at Kat’s place! The deck had great views of Columbine Lake and everything was exactly as described. The kitchen was fully stocked and made cooking meals so easy. The place is better than pictured in my opinion and Kat was a dream to communicate with! Easy drive to Rocky Mountain National Park and just absolutely perfect overall!

Multi Family Bliss

A wonderful week with 3 adult kids, in-laws and my brother. The house provided space to gather and spaces to separate. We all had a great time. Loved the deck and fire pit. Great proximity to Rocky Mountain NP as well as Grand Lake Village. It was a vacation for the history books.

Mountain Getaway

This was an absolute beautiful location and home to stay in. The drive to town, and the drive to the National Forest was quick and easy to navigate. The home was very clean and spacious yet cozy for our whole family. We would recommend this VRBO to anyone one wanting a beautiful mountain getaway.
