Room not maintained regularly

Room would have been fine except for the drain stop on the tub didn't work nor did the AC. Owner was informed of the drain and didn't offer apology nor compensation (this was a primary amenity for us and I advised the owner of this prior to rental- wanted the jetted tub for use after a half marathon and it wasn't fixed until the next day). Having no AC (was more like a fan) was miserable even in December. Second TV didn't appear to be hooked up properly (wasn't a big deal for us as we weren't going to use it.) Hardly any toilet paper left on the roll (good thing I brought a roll!) The advertisement literature in the room was from 2009. Stayed 5 nights and was only provided 3 wash cloths. This room/condo is obviously not updated or maintained on a regular basis. Palms buffet was good food for the price. Would not recommend staying in this rental.

I have never had a bad review on my rental. I personally check the condo and personally check everyone in myself. I also tell the renters to call me if there is any problem at all. When I received the call about the tub stopper, I personally went to the condo within 2 hours of the call, and provided a temporary stopper until I could have it repaired. I was never informed that there was a problem with the AC, until they checked out. I checked it after she left and it was not set properly. This renter failed to mention that I gave her complimentary spa passes, thinking it would be nice, knowing about the marathon. Both TV's work fine, as I check them all the time. If she had called me about the TV, I would have told her that it needed to be switched off of the DVD mode. Rooms are always supplied with all amenities, and if needed the renter can always call me and I will personally fill their needs. I am sorry I could not satisfy this renter. I feel that this review is not truthful and overexaggerated. I cannot fix something if I am not informed that it is not working properly. I guess there are people out there that you just cant seem to please. Apparently this was one of them.

Unglaubliche atemberaubende Aussicht auf Vegas

Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar günstig. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt, es fehlt an nichts. Alle Hotels direkt am Strip sind um einiges teurer und dieses Appartement ist sowieso nicht mit einem Hotelzimmer vergleichbar. Unbedingt buchen!

Great location, but a bit run down.

It was missing a stove , after saying full kitchen, need more pots , had to put glasses under sink taps as they dripped every time you used it.Had to purchase toilet paper after second day of four. Had to buy bread knife for kitchen.well at least the next person can cut a loaf of bread to make toast. Overall the place just needs some TLC.

Hi It is not advertise as having a stove , Its says Kitchenette . We have plenty of silverware and cutting knives Sorry if you was short of supplies wish you would of called us to let us know sometime our housekeeper overlooks things, If we would of received a phone call this problem would of been resolved. Beautiful room.Comfy, clean, spectacular views.

The pool is heated and just a very relaxing environment.The property is not on "the strip"; you will need car service. We used uber...perfect experiences. I loved seeing the sunrises and sunsets from the balcony.

Awesome condo!

I will definitely be back! Lovely accommodations. Cozy bed, nice bathroom, amazing view! Could have used more Kleenex and toilet paper , we managed with supply but kinda had to ration. Liquor store, dispensary, convenience stores all within quick walking distance. Coffee maker and ice in room a plus. Excellent food at Cafe 6 and at Casino. Prices good for Vegas standards. Now the Meh part..:though the pool was nice and relaxing....as far as the Vegas standards I’m used to, it was Subpar. Staff was never ready when pool opened. It took over an hour for staff to arrive, stock, and get bar service ready. Really?!?!? Come on. Prices for dixi cup drinks, unbelievably ridiculous! It was a joke. Severely understaffed. 2nd day at pool, we asked 2-3,times for something and we never received it. Bathrooms were a complete joke. Smelled horrible on 1st day(apparently a plumbing issue) but they were really lame...again, Most hotels/casinos in this city have amazing restrooms. Not this one. Aside from that, I loved this condo, it was a much needed break and it was exactly what we needed!

This is How to Do Vegas Right!

When planning my trip to Vegas, my friend and I decided that we wanted to have access to the strip, but not feel as though we couldn't leave it, and this condo was the perfect way to do that! It's a short ride to the strip one way, and not even half a mile in the other direction was one of the best local ramen places I've ever been to (loved not having to pay casino prices). The condo and property itself was great, the pictures are very accurate. We spent some time at the pool and used the spa (a must if you're a spa lover!) both of which were incredibly relaxing. There was a definite family vibe at this property with kids playing in the pool, but that could just be the time of year, etc. that we were there. My favorite part of this property was the communication with Tom. From walking me through payment issues I was having, to check in and check out, he was super attentive and responsive. One thing to note is that some of the condos are operated like a hotel and some are privately owned. This being a privately owned condo meant that we skipped check in and went right to our room, and didn't have to bother with expensive, unwanted amenities. (mini bar, etc.) My friend appreciated the computer in the room when she had some work unexpectedly come up. We never could get the movie system to work correctly, but the basic cable channels were enough. (Who comes to Vegas to watch tv?) Better than TV was watching the sun go down, the helicopters glittering like fireflies on their return trip from the Grand Canyon, and the show the strip put on nightly from the comfort of our balcony. After many trips to Vegas, I think I've finally figured out how to do it right.

Gorgeous Vegas Condo

This condo was the perfect getaway for my birthday weekend! My husband and I were so happy with our stay here! The location is fantastic, unit is upscale and beautifully furnished, building is quiet and modern and the amenities are fantastic! Owner has the condo well stocked with all the necessities you need to stay in if you wish! Bed and couch are comfy! Bathroom is gorgeous and huge! Such a comfortable place to be! Oh and be sure to visit the Drift Spa, you won't regret it!

Same Vegas...Different Experience

We went to Las Vegas for the WCC Basketball Tournament. My daughter's team stayed next door at Palms Casino. I chose this property for the close proximity to my daughter and the venue (Orleans Arena). This was the PERFECT location for our needs. We could walk to the arena (about 1/2 mile). The unit was EXACTLY as described on VRBO. We really enjoyed the property and Paul's place. We cooked 2 meals per day in the room. Everything we needed to prepare easy meals was available. A short/quick Uber/Lyft ride to Trader Joes ($10 ride) made this a very different Vegas trip. Typically we will eat, eat, eat (excess) at all the buffets and restaurants. It was a VERY nice change having the choice to eat in! The property location is great. Not right smack in the middle of all the craziness that is "The Strip" but a super nice, very short, distance to be right there...if you want to be in it! The bed was very comfortable, nice sheets, great pillows. I was pleasantly surprised to find a HUGE soaking Jacuzzi tub!! The shower/tub set up is really nice! I typically go to Las Vegas about 4 times per year; always staying in a hotel on the strip. This will DEFINITELY be our "go to" for all future Las Vegas trips! Paul is very responsive and pleasant to work with. This was a wonderful trip!

Perfect romantic getaway in Las Vegas!!

My husband and I enjoyed Paul's place as we had a great balcony view of the strip and were close to everything we wanted to do. The bed was comfortable and bathroom dual showering was awesome! Will definitely visit again. And recommend to our friends and family visiting the area.

Fantastic Stay

We came to Vegas for a friend's wedding. Paul was wonderful to work with. Great communication. Our flight was delayed and he arranged for our keys to be available at the desk. The condo was amazing, with fantastic views and was very clean and comfortable. No noise at all from neighbors. The staff of the resort was fantastic and we loved the valet parking option. Food options are great also. I would highly recommend Paul and his condo and plan to stay again should we return to the area.

My sister and I had a wonderful time. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Very clean ,amazing view with balcony, location was great. I would highly recommend Paul and his condo to anyone. If you have time, go to Mt. Charleston, 62 degrees in August.

Paul's amazing place

Paul is AMAZING!!!! We have been coming here for the past four years in Aug and when we come down we only exclusively book with Paul, we wouldn’t have it any other way. Its the Vegas experience without all the noise, its close to the strip to party but off the strip to relax. The customer service is great, he is very sweet and available for anything you need. The place is great and the view is AMAZING. We had a fully stocked fridge every time which he didn’t need to do, I would recommend him anytime, see you again next year in Aug Paul…. Paul's Palms Place Palace

Our stay at Paul's place was wonderful. It was exactly as advertised and then some. We ended up arriving later than originally planned and Paul was accommodating and made arrangements to get us the keys. He was also very gracious and allowed us a late departure as my daughter's team went to the final matches of her tournament. The unit was clean, well kept, and absolutely beautiful. The view was phenomenal and my wife and I had great night's sleep - as we couldnt hear a sound from our neighbors. We didn't get a chance to partake in some of Palms Place's ammenoties on this trip, but look forward to booking again with Paul so we can. Thanks for sharing your home. We really appreciated your home and hospitality.

Palms Place - Great Place to Stay

We loved Paul's Condo. We were in Vegas for the Continental Curling and were able to walk to the Orleans Arena in 20 min. We highly recommend Simons for a great Happy Hour and a fantastic Sunday Brunch. The Drift Spa facilities are amazing and offered at a very reasonable price. The restaurants and bars in the Palms Resort are excellent as well as are the IMAX theatres. We stayed for 6 nights and never wandered very far from our condo or the resort. We highly recommend the condo and hope to stay there again ourselves.

Spring vacation

Our visit to Las Vegas and staying in this beautiful apartment was very enjoyable. The location is perfect for visiting all the shows and attractions of the Strip. The apartment is professionally designed, the description is very accurate. The bed is very comfortable. I had injured my ankle just days before our travel, but we did not want to cancel. So we stayed in the apartment during the day, had lunch in the "Simon" restaurant downstairs beside the pool (nice food), and then in the evening the valet got us a taxi right in front of the door and we could see the phantastic shows of Cirque du Soleil, have dinner at the fabulous "Le Cirque" restaurant at Bellagio, or "Top of the World" at the Stratosphere. The owner is very helpful and we will recommend this VRBO apartment to all our friends who want to visit Las Vegas.

Long waits for elevators

Clean room with sodas and Snickers bars included. No lotion or packet of coffee. Spectacular view. Mat need a little air freshener. The walk to the Palms through the sky tube isn't bad all.

Awesome stay at Paul's place

This is one sweet room! The view, as others have stated, is incredible. You are far back enough to see the entire strip at once, yet close enough to easily identify all the casinos. And looking left and right gives you a view of the rest of Vegas, which sparkles with a million lights itself. It really is awesome. Inside the room, the only noises I heard were my own. Not once did hear any neighbors. I guess it's possible I didn't have any neighbors during my stay, but more than likely it was just good soundproofing. Either way, it's nice to come up from a long (very long) night of gambling and enjoy some peace and quiet. The bed was comfy, the comforter was nice, and the couch folds out for another bed if you need it. And the bathroom just kicks a$$! Paul was great too. He personally met me at the elevator, checked me into the room (no waiting in line), went over a couple of questions I had, and that was it. Very quick and easy. The room was as-described. We hammered those little snacks in the fridge (mini candy bars), and used the kitchenette and dishes to make our own drinks and make our own lunch a couple of times. Having a computer there is very handy too. I personally wouldn't check my email on it (and definitely don't check your bank account!), since it's basically a public computer, but it's handy for googling things to do in Vegas, or restaurants in the area, or youtubing music videos to play while you're getting ready to go out. Bottom line: I've been to Vegas about 7 times, and this was easily the best room I've ever had (granted, I've never stayed at a penthouse suite, or anything fancy like that, so bear that in mind). I wouldn't hesitate to use Paul's place again on my next trip to Vegas, it is that awesome. I'd also highly recommend it to any of my friends.

Wonderful Weekend Away

Paul the condo was everything you explained and more. The view from the balcony is amazing, you can see everything on the strip. The drinks and snacks you provided, definitely came in handy. Look forward to visiting again soon.

A dream come true along with an outstanding service.

Paul's studio suite is an amazing suite. The picture shows it all, the balcony is the most spectacular view during the day and night that it is my favorite place to be. I will be renting this studio suite again when I go back to Las Vegas. Thanks for everything Paul.

OUR ROOMS HAVE A FULL ACCESS TO BALCONY. WE LOVE THE LAS VEGAS STRIP VIEW ROOMS THE VIEWS ARE AWESOME. IF YOU JUST WANT A BASIC ROOM WITH OUT THE EXTRAS WE HAVE THAT TOO.
OTHER ROOMS SAY STRIP VIEW BUT DO NOT HAVE A BALCONY OR THEY SAY CITY VIEW WELL CITY VIEW IS NOT THE LAS VEGAS STRIP VIEW.......
OUR ROOMS OFFER MORE THAN ANY OTHER ROOMS AT PALMS PLACE HAS ITS OWN PC IN THE ROOM AND ITS OWN WIFI FREE MOVIES AND DVD PLAYER. THE HOTEL CONDOS WIFI THAT THE OTHERS OFFER HAS TROUBLE CONNECTING AND IS SLOW!!!
