Nice size house...

This was a great size house for a family gathering. The pool on the property and the beach access are perfect. Didn't think we'd need 2 dishwashers but it sure was nice to have them!

Redemption getaway

Our family went on our yearly vacation this past summer and stayed at Redemption in Rodanthe. It rained 5 out of the 7 days we were there which broke our hearts because our family loves to sit on the beach all day and evening BUT thankfully we were in the house because it was everything we could have imagined to keep us entertained and cozy. We all joked that we actually were able to rest on vacation this year since we weren’t getting worn out on the beach. Great memories were made with grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles and cousins thanks to Redemption! We will def be back!

Needs Updates....

The rental company is GREAT, very attentive and responsive. Pool is great, hot tub and beach location are wonderful. The kitchen is wonderful, everything you can need. BUT, the house looks like a shack from the outside, rust, needs paint, the inside smells like mold and must. It has old damp carpet, there was mold on the tub (The rental company did come clean it when asked) It is def the worst looking house next to its neighbors. Also beware, the wifi is sketchy, there is NO modern technology in the house so if you have teens, beware. Also, there is NOTHING around, the restaurants are open and closed at random times, they do not answer the phone or deliver. It's VERY hard if you have small kids to plan dinners unless you cook every single meal. There is nothing on doordash, uber eats etc. You are really isolated. Also other than fishing, and boats, there is nothing to do. Not even a movie theatre. Just NOT best for families if you want to do anything other than be a beach bum....we will not go back here. But again, the rental company is great, this house just paled in major comparision to others we have stayed at.

Perfect location, but housekeeping was way below par.

We Loved the house, the pool and the location. Unfortunately, the house had not been fully cleaned, so I cleaned as soon as I walked in so we would feel comfortable being there. The kitchen cabinets were dirty, the hardwood floors hadn't been mopped, the LR furniture was stained, and the carpet hadn't been vacuumed. It appeared to be weeks of buildup.. Housekeeping apologized and offered to return the cleaning fee, which I haven't received and it has been over a month. I called them and they have not responded.

Relaxing

First time to the OBX.. Had a great time!!! The house was beautiful and the views were incredible!!!!. Was able to relax the whole vacation. Will come back again and to the same house if possible.
