Umgestaltete Scheune in Champlain Valley

Die Scheune, die an mein 200 Jahre altes Haus angeschlossen ist, wurde letztes Jahr in einen erstaunlichen Rückzugsort mit 1 Schlafzimmer und 1 Bad umgebaut. Es ist geräumig, gut ausgestattet und verträumt. Nach dem vollständigen Umbau ist der Stall nun ein hocheffizienter Holz-Hybrid-Wohnraum, in dem sowohl originale, neu beanspruchte Materialien als auch die neuesten energieeffizienten Produkte zum Einsatz kommen.

Die Gegend ist ruhig und umgeben von Schönheit und doch nah an allen Arten von Aufregung. Es gibt gut ausgebaute Wanderwege, die zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Sie können die Fähre nach Burlington nehmen, um Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu besuchen, oder mit dem Zug nach Montreal. Die Essensbewegung ist hier oben in vollem Gange und das ist eine weitere erfreuliche Attraktion. In der Stadt Essex gibt es ein wunderbares Yoga-Studio, den Lake Champlain Yoga & Wellness, mehrere Restaurants und interessante Geschichte.

Die Scheune ist ein ruhiger und privater Zufluchtsort mit Blick auf die Berge, 5 Meilen von Essex und Lake Champlain entfernt - ganzjährig komfortabel, mit Klimaanlage im Sommer und effizienter Wärme und einem Holzofen für die kalten Monate. Die Fotos sagen alles!

A truly unique property. From the moment we saw the patio to the walk to the upstairs bedroom, we were in Awe!!! Tastefully decorated, workable kitchen, anything you could beed in a rental and more. Surrounding area and views were terrific. Loved walking to the barn and seeing the animals. We loved the goat. Sheer delight and entertainment. All appliances and bedding were top notch. I wished we had another few days there. This lovely rental is perfection. Audrey was very responsive and helpful to us and willingly answered all our questions!

Everything about this stay was incredible. The photos don't actually do the barn justice and the photos are pretty nice! This is the best appointed rental we've ever stayed in. Audrey was a great host, full of local knowledge and extremely accommodating. Would recommend time and time again!

Audrey is the consummate host, and her place is simply delightful! Audrey was responsive and very easy to communicate with throughout both the booking process and during our stay. She even had a fire started in the wood-fired stove upon our arrival. The home is comfortable and tastefully appointed with well-curated home decor. The remodeled barn is cozy and welcoming! This is our 2nd visit at Audrey’s farm. Our last visit was 4-5 years ago, and we stayed in the main house, which is larger and equally delightful. This 1BR apartment had ample space for relaxing, and a large en suite bedroom. The views from the barn are spectacular; be sure to wake up to see the sunrise!

We went up for a family wedding and stayed in this beautiful restored barn in Essex. The house was beautiful and very comfortable, pet friendly and has great views. Nearby hiking and near the waterfront town of Essex where you can get a ferry to Vermont. Would highly recommend

Great place to recharge

The owner was exceptionally friendly and helpful with information about local activities and restaurants. The cabin was wonderfully appointed and very comfortable. Next time we choose to travel to this lovely region of the Adirondack this will be our accommodations of choice.

Audrey's barn, located in the beautiful Champlain Valley, offers stunning sunrise views and beautiful mountain scenery minutes from Lake Champlain. Lovely, relaxing stay

The property is beautiful, the barn apartment is modern and comfortable. Would definitely recommend for folks who like to hike and just get out of a city environment - a ton of trails nearby and the views will make you forget you are in NY. Audrey was a gracious host and very helpful throughout our stay. We enjoyed a few local restaurants in the area and did some hiking in Vermont as well.

Adirondack Getaway

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the barn. From the moment I walked in I fell in love with it’s charm. It is filled with natural light and very charmingly furnished. It is also very comfortable and has everything you may need for an enjoyable stay. I hope to return one day in the fall to enjoy the wood burning stove and see the leaves change.

Charming Retreat

Magical

We had a family reunion here and rented both this property and the main farm house. It was just perfect. There are great hiking trails nearby and the adorable waterfront town of Essex is 5 miles away. Audrey (the host) is super cool, and she has a gaggle of farm creatures that love to be petted. If you want to step back into a time we all long for, this is the place.
