Willkommen in unserem zweiten Zuhause: einer Strandwohnung, die wir "Ahoy Story" nennen. Unsere Ferienimmobilie ist Unit 202 am berühmten Sea Gypsy in Lincoln City, wo der berühmte D River auf den Pazifischen Ozean trifft.

Unsere Wohnung bietet Platz für fünf Personen bequem in zwei separaten Schlafbereichen. Wir haben eine Suite am Meer mit einem Queen-Schlafsofa. Im Hauptschlafzimmer haben wir ein unglaublich weiches Queensize-Bett und ein Doppelbett. Jede Seite unserer Wohnung hat ein eigenes Bad.

Wenn es jemanden in Ihrer Familie gibt, der gerne kocht, bieten wir eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Backofen, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank und Geschirrspüler. Alle Kochgeschirr, Teller und Utensilien sind vorhanden. Wir bleiben oft in unserer Wohnung und kochen die ganze Zeit, so dass wir und keine Details ersparen.

Unser Wohnzimmer verfügt über ein Schlafsofa, einen Liegestuhl, einen elektrischen Kamin und einen Esstisch direkt vor unseren Fenstern am Meer. Sie können hier den ganzen Tag über sitzen und nach wandernden Walen, Seehunden, Seelöwen und anderen Überraschungen Ausschau halten. Wir haben wandernde Orcas gesehen und es gibt einen Weißkopfseeadler, der gelegentlich ein Cameo macht.

Unsere Wohnung befindet sich am nördlichen Ende des Sea Gypsy, in der Nähe des kürzesten von drei Zugangspunkten zum Strand. Unsere ist nur sechs Schritte vom Sand entfernt. Vom Strand vor unserem Gerät können Sie 3 1/2 Meilen in beide Richtungen gehen. Wenn Sie nach Norden gehen, werden Sie nur 10-15 Minuten entfernt auf natürliche Gezeitenbecken stoßen. Im Süden befindet sich der berühmte D River, wo Ihre Kinder im knöcheltiefen Wasser spielen können.

Wenn Sie nicht gerne draußen planschen, können Sie sich in unserem Salzwasser-Innenpool erfrischen. Es ist ab 9 Uhr geöffnet. m. bis 10 p. 365 Tage im Jahr. In unserem Poolraum gibt es auch eine Trockensauna. Sea Gypsy-Gäste haben auch Zugang zu einer Wäscherei und einigen Grillmöglichkeiten im Freien.

My spouse and I enjoy the Sea Gypsy. The location in proximity to the ocean and shopping/restaurants work well for us. It's been clean and affordable every time we've stayed there.

Constantly a great stay

This is our second June in a row staying at the Sea Gypsy Ahoy Story room and both times have been great experiences. The room is clean and the location in great (especially for the little ones that don't like a long walk to the beach). We look forward to staying again in the future.

Great view

We very much enjoyed our stay. The property is in a great location and the view is spectacular. Our issue was the TV in the bedroom did not work and the mattress seems very old. We moved to the sofa bed to see if that was better and we could watch TV, but it was not. The sofa sleeper is very old and uncomfortable. We would stay again if the mattress was replaced and the TV fixed.

Last minute Summer getaway

Decided to have some mommy/kiddo bonding time with my 4 kids before school starts next week. The rental at the sea gypsy was perfect..right on the beach, beautiful views and super relaxing. We had the best time and would definitely stay here again!

Great locale and clean, quiet.

From the exterior the Sea Gypsy didn't look special, but our room was super clean and modern. What makes this a do again for us is the location- steps from the beach and SPECTACULAR views. Will be back!

It was an awesome place to stay the views were amazing the room was clean and roomy. Little disappointed that the pool was freezing cold and the second day are here wouldn't shut off but the manager on site was amazing and helping us get it figured out.

Perfect for our Stay

My spouse and I booked the condo for a quick getaway. First impressions were good, but the room itself was better. It was clean and well maintained, with beautiful views. We didn't cook while staying there, but everything we used worked well. The kitchen featured full-size stove/range, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and coffee pot, in addition to dinnerware, silverware, cookware, etc. Everything you could need. The two bathrooms were also clean and well maintained, as well as stocked with the amenities you'd expect. Check-in and check-out instructions were easy to follow. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Great location!

We had a great stay, the location is just stunning with amazing views on a beautiful beach. The condo was very clean and well stocked, I found everything I reached for including some fun bonuses like games and puzzles. A few comments, while the beds were quite comfy the sofa bed was not super comfortable on my aging back, as expected. Not a complaint, just something to consider. Likewise the posting states something like it is 6 steps from the beach, the building is 6 steps from the beach but this unit is on the second story. Overall, we had a great stay and would stay again!

Would rent again in a heartbeat

The owners were nice and well organized. Was an easy process from beginning to end. Not the most sound proof, but wasn’t bothersome at all. All the kids above us were active. Lol. I brought a friend down that list both of his sisters to cancer in a 3 week span. Was a perfect getaway.

Wonderful view

Yes the view is amazing!! The condo is in good condition and has a beach flare to it. The building is old on the outside but new on the inside. This means the walls are not as sound prof as a newer building. In the bedroom there was a bit of noise from the neighbors and people outside so we slept on the sofa bed in the living room and it was much better.

Wonderful location, beautiful condo and great amenities

We really enjoyed this condo, right on the beach, with very easy access to the beach. The views were phenomenal. I loved that it was right next to the D River. The condo was very nice, well decorated and 99.9% clean (found a couple of random things on the floor like a pen or puzzle piece). There were beach toys, games, pool noodles and other nice additions to the room. The kitchen was well stocked with things you would need to cook. We liked just about everything about this condo and location is wonderful - central to everything in Lincoln City! The only drawbacks: We were on 2nd level and the noise is a bit annoying at times, especially night. You can hear everything above you and you can hear people walking and talking outside your room. I had a sound machine so my daughter still slept soundly. The other drawback was the wifi was not super great, but we didn't use it much anyway. Also, the pool is NOT heated. The first time we went in it was really cold, and the maintenance guy showed up quickly to heat it up for us. The second time it was warmer, but still not 'heated'. The lobby said that it is like an HOA and they have to wait for the maintenance man to show up. We still swam and had fun, but it would've been more enjoyable if it was warmer. Everything else was wonderful and we would still stay there again, even with these few small things. Looking forward to the next stay!

Great stay!

Review - Weekend 8/26-8/28

Very Happy with Condo, though I thought it was a little over priced. Lindsay was very accommodating to us. Television set-up and remotes were a little over the top. Never did find the "Pool Key" marked "P", but left a message on the phone when we vacated early that the key was missing when we arrived at the unit.

Great coastal spot

Great location right on Lincoln City beach, just steps to the ocean. Unit was nice and clean and spacious enough for a couple. Can walk to restaurants/shops. It's an old building so can hear neighbors esp upstairs, but to be expected. I mean we came here in the 80's so just coming here again was great. Only issue was w/ reservation which was messed up as reserved and paid for a different room (top level) and found out two days before that there was some glitch and I had no room. To their credit they did find me another room there and also option for top floor room at a different place in town. I would just recommend you double check on your reservation by calling a human there, don't rely on emails from them that you are confirmed. It all worked out, that is the only reason I marked them a 4/5. All the staff very nice there and great to have a person staffing the desk during the day.

Sea Gypsy a fun trip

We spent 2 nights here & what a beautiful place to stay, we loved the fact that it was a condo & we could sit at the table & I could watch the ocean & just relax. Wish there was an elevator as the stairs are hard to do with luggage & all, but I can only say good things, we had a wonderful day in Depoe Bay despite the rain !! Hopefully we will be able to go back some day !
