We had a really good time. The house is in a great locations, with a short beautiful walk to the beach & a beach view restaurant. There was plenty of space for all of us & the porch was perfect for night sitting. The only complaint we have is the laundry room, queen bedroom & bathroom smelled like sewer the entire time, sometimes becoming over bearing.

The perfect place for us..

This house has plenty of space and all of the things you need besides food lol. It is situated in a great location about a block from the beach. It was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

The plumber came first day to check for back flow and there was none, but the sewage smell was continuous between hall bath and laundry. Also it was advertised as sleeps 10 and we had 9 adults. I question that it should advertise sleeps 10 since we even used air mattress for one person. Rooms were cramped

We loved this vacation home

My family loves this house my kids like how there room had the half beat room in it they was more than a enough room for 10 people the walk to the beach was short, is like maybe 2 and a half to 3 minute walk. We did have to drop to the outdoor pool, it was a bit of a walk, but my kids loved the outdoor pool and a splash pad was at bonus. We will most definitely rent this place again next year.

Family Vacation

The house was very clean and had many amenities. The screened back porch and furnished front porch were enjoyable. The outdoor pools and splash park were very nice. I would recommend on renting a golf cart for the majority of your stay which made pool and beach access conveimt although you can get their via car or walking.

Great location

This was our first time renting at Oceanside village. Overall we enjoyed it and loved the location. The only things we were annoyed by was the air conditioning was not that great, fridge didn’t get cold enough for our groceries, and we had issues with washing machine. I do think this house needed some updates but other than that we we had a good time.

This is totally a surprise. No word upon arriving, as the instructions stated, to report any and all issues. Departure cleaning took additional time due to the condition in which it was left. And we inspect prior to each check in.

Quiet Family Friendly Neighborhood

We enjoyed staying at the Oceanside Village. We were able to walk to the ocean (not ocean-front property) outdoor pool, and playground. Golf carts could be rented for $60 a day, which would have been very handy but walking was fine, too! The house was the perfect size for our family of 6 plus an auntie! The kids room is awesome, has a bunkbed with a twin trundle and even a little tiny bathroom right in the room!! The house could use a deep cleaning and airing out, one of the bedrooms had an odor to it but may just need some fresh air! Overall, the house worked well for us and for the price and location. I would recommend! *Also, it would be handy if the owners had a little instruction binder like

Love the location! Super close to the beach less than 5 min walk. We traveled with 6 adults and 3 children 2 of which are 1 year olds. We loved the indoor pool for them as it was heated and covered. We didn’t make it down to the outdoor pool. The house had everything you need as far as cooking. They have beach chairs and umbrellas there for you to use but we brought our own. They have a water hose hooked up to rinse off your feet before going in the house. The beds are kind of hard but we didn’t go for comfy beds. We rented a golf cart and enjoyed having that to ride around. The community offers key cards for 20.00 (you get 10.00 back when you return it) to give you parking access to the beach and entrances all around the community. Otherwise you need to use main entrance at the front. Overall, we had everything we needed. Cons: 2 bedrooms do not have any AC units just 1 vent (central air is not great and did stop working one day it got to 80 degrees in there) we notified management and they had someone out quickly to get it fixed. The ice maker for the refrigerator is not hooked up. This only mattered to us because we had to go buy ice to fill our coolers for the beach daily. The tv systems are not great especially in living room. They have roku set up in bedrooms but one room didn’t have remote and the others were logged into other peoples account. Difficult to mess with. We did have an issue with security w them giving my husband wallet to someone else

Loved Oceanside Village, but the house and the property manager made for a bad week. This was first vacation I wad able to take my family on in 3 years. On Day 2, the futon couch in living room fell apart without anyone touching it. Literally. I reported the issue to the property manager. She was surprised since they had no issues when moving couch before we stayed she said. Nobody could repair it until the next morning so we had no usable common area space in the house at all for the night. I asked for a small rebate of some sort to make up for our trouble, and was told (rudely) that other renters had screwed them in the past and she wasn’t going to let me do the same. Then she hung up on me while I was still talking. I also noticed the water heater was not working properly, since hot water was lukewarm at best from every faucet. I reported this issue on Tuesday of our stay. They sent operations manager out on Wed morning to adjust tank temp which did not work. On Thurs, ops manager replaced water heater, which still did not work. On Fri. ops manager tried to adjust the temp new water heater which still did not work. Fri. afternoon ops manager replaced the water heater again. Still no hot water. We left today (Sat) without a warm shower all week after paying a lot of money to come to beach. You can imagine how hard this was with a toddler and two teens. Again no type of rebate or even an I’m sorry for your trouble this week. I am so disappointed . Worst vacation experience

This is not at all reflective of what transpired at all. You checked in after we inspected the property that morning with housekeeping and had to move the futon couch back center in living area. It is a heavy piece of furniture and was sturdy. Two days later on 7/15 after 4:00 a message came that the futon sofa “fell apart”. At 4:45 I reached out to you and stated we would have someone out the following morning. Two days into your stay and all was fine. During the phone conversation you continuously stated you wanted money for your trouble. I guess repairs that addressed damages two days after inspection was not enough. I did not hang up on you and did state that no money would be credited, wherein it was not a pint of contention with you, and as I thought my point was clearly understood, we ended the conversation. At 6:43 pm I followed up with an email which stated and confirmed our conversation. The hot water heater was replaced and when contractor entered home he stated that a child was jumping on the futon sofa, stating evidently that is why it came apart. Things happen beyond anyone’s control or planning. We endeavor to provide assistance with the least amount of inconvenience possible. All of these factors are entered into with a rental agreement. We simply cannot tolerate misinformation, threatening remarks, nor demanding money for damages guests have caused, failed to report. My owners opened up their home and the very least that is expected is honesty.

great location!

Loved the location of this property, but it's quite a stretch to believe that it can accommodate 10 people! We had 8 and it was difficult. The place is way too small for that many people. It also didn't feel the cleanest. I laundered bed spreads when we got there. On the plus side, the location was great - short walk to the beach, and the reserved parking for the golf carts at the beach is a real perk!

Great vacation home

This home was perfect for our vacation. We had plenty of room for everyone, house was very clean , and very modern looking .. our beds were comfortable. It was conveniently located not too far from the beach. The neighborhood is very nice and we really enjoyed renting the golf carts on site. Lisa Shultz the property manager treated us with great southern hospitality, she was super nice with all of our questions. We definitely would rent here again .

Oceanside Village

My friend & I took my collage age son and his friends to Garden City, SC for the week. We had a great stay at 165 Oceanside Drive. The house was just the right size for our group of 10..and short walk to the beach was quite nice. The location of the village was very convenient to local stores, as well as Murrells Inlet for boutiques & fresh seafood. We appreciated the cleanliness of the house as well as the AC & all extra ammenties stocked. We will definitely consider this location in the future should we have opportunity to make another trip.

Extremely frustrating to get in property. Always had to wait in a very long line to get in even after checking in. Beach access is not feasible. Had to park 2-3 miles away. Can walk to the beach but when you have alot to carry, it makes it difficult. They should really issue key cards. Loved the neighborhood but not sure if I would stay there again only because of the inconveinence. Overall, a very pleasant stay

Convenient property—short walk to the beach, nice neighborhood

We went down with our four kids for a 5-night stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the property. It’s a short walk from the beach in a nice, large neighborhood. There are two outdoor pools—one with a splash pad—and an indoor pool within a 1/4 mile walk from the house. We made sure to try them all out—so fun! The house was stocked with cleaning supplies (laundry and dish cleaning), toilet paper/paper towels, bath towels for everyone, and sheets cleaned and on the beds. The kitchen was well stocked for basic cooking and had seating for 6. Lisa was good about answering our questions in a timely manner. All in all, very happy with our stay.
