This property was perfect, better than the pictures and description!! The hosts were welcoming and helpful. The property was in a great location, was appointed with everything you could potentially need and need, and beautifully appointed. If we could give it 6 stars we would!! We are family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teenagers) and stayed at the home for 4 nights.

Gian Cristina were welcoming hosts who went the extra mile in every way. From excellent communication & logistics, to a personalized orientation of the property to providing much appreciated necessities like water, snacks, coffee and even a bottle of wine with a hand-written welcome note. Amazing stay in Rome!

We loved our stay at this fantastic property! The location is perfect for touring Rome, and the apartment itself and the views are amazing. We particularly enjoyed sitting out on the balcony overlooking Trajan's Column. It is perfect for families and is truly a unique property. We can't recommend it enough.

Wonderful Stay

My family had a lovely time in Rome staying at Gian and Christina’s beautiful and authentic apartment. The location, while quite busy, was conveniently located to many of the sights of the city, and Petites Promenades (introduced and recommended by our hosts) was a great resource for tours and experiences—very high quality guides, and a very fun Italian cooking class. We were also grateful for Gian’s TLC in arranging for car service for my family—very helpful in a city where taxi access is more difficult. The curated guidebook in the living room was also a helpful resource for restaurants and activities. Highly recommend!

Amazing stay in Rome, 10 stars!

You must stay here to experience Rome. Gian and Cristina are amazing hosts and so welcoming it is like you are staying with family! Our family of 4 (two teenage daughters) stayed for 5 nights and our experience was exquisite. We are already trying to plan our next trip back to Rome! Perfect Roman apartment with plenty of room!The accommodations are beyond any hotel you will stay at in Rome and you are staying within ancient Rome. Gian helped us plan our stay and his recommendations for restaurants and using Petites Promenades and Sylvia were "spot on" for a cooking class, catacombs tour and day trip to Napoli and Pompei! He also helped arrange transportation to and from the airport which was so appreciated.We definitely look forward to returning!

Wonderful Apartment and Ideal Location

We had a wonderful time at Colonna Traiana. The apartment was perfect for our family and had all the amenities you would ever need. Gian was helpful and prompt in all our communications and was very helpful in putting me in contact with local experts who helped arrange private tours and tickets. The apartment is in an ideal location and we were able to walk to most destinations. Definitely a memorable stay!

Authentic Roman experience, excellent location, and wonderful hosts

This was our first time as a family to Italy and it did not disappoint. Our host Gian and his wife Cristiana were absolutely amazing to work with leading up to our trip and wonderful hosts while we were there. We truly felt like family as they extended what use to be their home to our family for the week. The location was perfect and the terrace gave us beautiful views enjoy a nice Italian glass of wine and look out over the Trajan Forum. Gian and his family offer a beautiful apartment in a central location. We had easy access to everything, and the location made getting around very simple. Great place in Rome

This property was accurately listed. The apartment is on the 4th floor of an historic palace in Rome. There was an elevator which came in handy with getting our luggage to the apartment. There was plenty of space to spread out and have some room. The air conditioning worked well which was nice since Rome was extremely hot. The property is about 15 minutes from all the major attractions we were visiting.

Perfezione!

Everything about this place is perfection! Form the location (near charming neighborhood of Monti as well as major sights like the colosseum and forum); to the view (wonderful balcony); to the host family and their support and amazing recommendations; to the gorgeous place itself. The apartment is gorgeous and while “classic Roman” everything is clean and up to date with modern comforts. If you want to stay in a nice place and need three bedrooms (or even two), you can’t beat this beauty!!
