We had a lovely stay here. Its a wonderful location and such a beautiful home. We all had a great stay and the beds were very comfortable. Little snacks and a large choice of tea and coffee to enjoy and the decor was done to make their guests comfortable. Its super clean and has all the little extras to make your stay enjoyable. Communication was quick and easy and very helpful, will definitely come back

This was the most amazingly place to stay. Beautiful decor, comfortable furnishings and the beds were fantastic. The entire home was well equipped with extreme attention to detail and extremely clean. From the moment you walked in it felt like you were getting a big hug with music playing, lights on and beautiful baking on the kitchen table. Sandra and Jacob are extremely attentive making sure that we had everything we needed. Location was beautiful and convenient, only a 15 min drive to downtown Charlottetown. Would definitely return.Thank you Jacob and Sandra for offering this amazing place!

A wonderful stay in this beautiful 4-bedroom apartment! The owner is incredibly friendly and lives right on-site, making the experience feel very welcoming. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the living room was the perfect spot to unwind. All four bedrooms are upstairs and feature large, cozy queen beds, and the entire place was sparkling clean. ​It’s a great base for exploring PEI: only 20-minute driving from Charlottetown and the north shore; easy to get to the Kings county. Decent price: you get twice the space for the price of a city rental.

Wonderful property and host!

We had a wonderful stay, 4 adults and 3 kids slept really comfortably and everything you could want to do is very easily accessible from the house. Sandra is a very thoughtful host who has anticipated anything you may need during your stay and the house amenities are exceptional. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return soon!

Hidden Gem on Prince Edward Island

This place was so comfortable, clean and friendly. Upon checkin we were greeted and advised of everything we needed to know. Host was super with recommendations in the area. Location was perfect for many activities. Outside of hustle and bustle but close enough to get to all activities and sights in the island. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ten Mile House!

Beautiful property, and a great central location

This is a gorgeous property that allows you to stay on the property and entertain yourselves with various outdoor games available at the house, or you can jump in your car and drive about 10-15 minutes and spend a day at the beach. This house is in a great central location that allows you to easily explore any part of the island, which is what we ended up doing during our stay. Really great property that I cannot recommend enough.

Beautiful home in a beautiful location of PEI, close to all amenities, 10 minutes to beautiful Blooming point Beach, the house was stocked with lots of games for the kids, the bubble gum machine was a hit with the kids in our group. We had a great time on our new years getaway be had a big family and everything went smooth. Property was just perfect for our crazy!! Sandra was wonderful to deal with!

Amazing time!!!

If this property is available book it asap because it is everything you ever want from the gorgeous views to every little thing being provided in the house. I strongly recommend this house for anyone but me and my friends (23-25yrs old) had an amazing time here and cant thank Sandra enough for all that she did for us and hope to see you again!

Perfect

Sandra's property is exactly as listed. Lovely clean space with anything you might need. Kitchen well stocked. She has really thought of everything. Home is in a great location for exploring the island.

Perfect! I’m happy to hear you found The Tenmile House to be exactly as listed, that’s so important. I really try my best to anticipate my guests needs and then add some special extra’s. Yes the location is fantastic- not too far from our Capital City of Charlottetown, but yet far enough for a good ol’ farmhouse country feel… escape

A Little About Me

Hi, I’m Sandra, your host at 10 Mile House.

I was born in Charlottetown, and although I wasn’t raised here, PEI was always a very special part of my childhood. My dad was a banker, so our family moved around quite a bit, but we spent our summers here, creating many wonderful memories on the Island.

I eventually found my way back to PEI in the 1990s for 10 years then returned again in 2011, and ultimately retired here. After all those years of coming and going, it feels pretty special to finally call the Island home.

I’ve been welcoming guests to 10 Mile House since 2018, and hosting has become something I truly love. I enjoy meeting people from all over and sharing the places, experiences and little treasures that make PEI so special.

I’m always happy to share my favourite local recommendations, from beaches and trails to restaurants and the hidden gems that you might otherwise miss.

My hope is that when you stay at 10 Mile House, you feel comfortable, welcomed and a little bit at home, while making some wonderful PEI memories of your own.
