I would like to state that prior to your visiting, you requested to cancel less than 24 hours due to some personal circumstances you stated and I let you know I had to host you seeing as my current guest at the time who so badly wanted to extend their stay because they loved it had to check in to a hotel to honor your booking and right after they paid the hotel fees, you wanted to cancel so your review is unjust to be honest and I feel like you are taking advantage of the fact that the site allows you to write a retaliatory review simply because I refused you to cancel and get a full refund as per my booking rules especially on a holiday day itself. You are to supervise your child at all times especially since my photos already show that I have glass tables and stairs. Did you know look at the photos before booking? There was zero water damage in the bathrooms so at the point I am beginning to believe that you have me confused with your other places seeing as you were passing by Georgia for just one night. You arrived at midnight and left by morning and you were able to make all these deductions because I decided to stick to my rules? Yet another wanted to extend their stay because they loved the home. It’s sad that those who feel slighted get so upset that they leave negative reviews whereas those who enjoyed their stay for 3 years now do not complain on this site. Feel free to research my home and you will find several guests who do not agree with your rating. Please keep passing through next time and don’t be upset when a host decides to keep their end of the deal. If I had canceled on you less than 24 hours on Memorial Day and disrupted your plans, I bet you wouldn’t have loved it. I honored your booking. I don’t build brand new homes because you want to check in. It’s a home. It can never be perfect despite as you could see that I strive for perfection.

From the moment the guest booked, she was worried the home was a scam booking. I tried to reassure her multiple times in calls and writing that her booking was real. She used two accounts to try to book almost double booking herself. She kept calling Vrbo to complain that home might not exist. I kept telling her it wasn’t a scam booking. She was very grateful that I kept in communication with her from beginning to the end till she successfully checked in. Guest didn’t state she was coming with children or anyone elderly. Home isn’t built with facilities for those who have mobility issues. Infact guest didn’t come with children. Home has stairs. Home doesn’t have wide hallways for those with electric chairs. We have a 3 bedroom home that is better suited for that. She opted for this home. Also children are to be watched every time. That’s the law. The home has a glass center table which is in the pics so you are to watch your kids and if she had mentioned needing a stair gate, I would have been very happy to provide. Why would you book a home with stairs with no bedroom downstairs for anyone with mobility issues? The stairs aren’t slippery at all but You are required to use stairs to the bedrooms so all I can say is guest didn’t read the listing at all before booking as our home wasn’t suited to her needs and she told me a different thing while booking. She said her son and his girlfriend and she and most likely her partner will be coming. Just 4 people. So this is a false review. This home has been up for 3 years and each year I renovate. How a home with so many amenities and very expensive amenities at that for the price and good location looks hurriedly put together is amazing. All I can say is guests has high expectations that I cannot fulfill. She also wasn’t upfront about who was visiting the home. I can’t please everyone. She didn’t complain about her stay through out so I got blindsided by this public complain. I’m sorry we couldn’t give you the perfect stay you wanted due to the level of perfection you sought. You left my home clean so for that I thank you but next time read the entire listing profile and study the pics and be upfront with the host about the guests you are bringing so that you can book according to your needs. In between it’s disappointing you didn’t mention my amazing customer service in all the moments you were worried the home wasn’t real. Thanks for coming. I am sorry if the home was not to your satisfaction as we go above and beyond to provide our guests a five star experience. From the minute you walked into the home, you confused your booking for a 3 bedroom condo, whereas it is a 2 bedroom home. Not enough amount of rooms surely resulted in your unwillingness to stay and you wanted a cancellation but due to my cancellation policy, you decided to stay. Your first complain within minutes of entry was a cigarette smell. I immediately came to the home to check it out. It’s a non smoking home. You cited your daughter had asthma issues but that you were willing to stay then demanded a discount which became the foundation for everything that made you displeased. You spilled sugary items on the kitchen counter, made coffee without using filter & had coffee sands everywhere upon your checkout. Bear in mind there was high pollen in GA during your stay and some are allergic to it. I can’t control the weather. You didn’t cancel your reservation and the booking was completed. Then you demanded a refund for the entire 6 nights that you never ever canceled. Some things to correct in your retaliatory review. I do not live at the vacation rental property you stayed at. You didn’t find any of my personal belongings there. From the moment the home was purchased, it has been a vacation rental property. I’m always constantly booked so how can I live there when I live with my spouse at my residential property that was purchased by us and I’m legally registered to. I also have footage of my personal property. Why you would make such false claim is beyond me. I was never aggressive towards you. I was very polite with you. My home didn’t trigger asthma attack for your daughter or make anyone sick, I have outdoor footage of you all going out shopping, dining out and having a good time, etc. My reviews are not written by family members. Reviews on VRBO are verified by identity. Those were valid stays and I have footages of those stays. Lastly, you made your booking on this site so why direct future guests to go look for the rental property on other sites to back up your false claim? Next time, book the appropriate home that fits your family size and needs. It is a 2 bedroom home, smoke free, with genuine stays and reviews and I’m always there for my guest because I live around the same county as the vacation rental thus my quick response to issues.
