Thanks, Marcellus! Perceptions, how about the house was renovated 3 yrs ago, the spacious house, kitchen/island, back door, bathroom, bedrooms are top notch quality. But, some doors/jams hasn't, as where guest moving furniture around, it may need maintenance. So, it's an old house that's lovely to stay, lovely-relaxing vibes, lovely accommodations (looks like pictures), and lovely-positive people always appreciated. Thanks, stay safe and stay blessed!! ❤️

Very nice

After reserving the property several months ago I read some of the reviews later and got kind of worried. I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised as it wound up being a very nice facility. It’s obviously recently remodeled and very nice and clean and free mangos in the back yard.

Disaster

My family and I did not stay. A complaint was submitted on Friday right after our arrival. Conditions of the property were deplorable. The host was passing someone living on the property as a “property manager “. This person was walking around the backyard, which actually looked like where he was living. Pictures were taken and provided to Vrbo’s complaint department.

Thanks, Seheli K!! I'm so sorry to hear that. As written on VRBO, the description states, our paid property manager, work/stay in the guest house 1 bedroom/bathroom/kitchenette. As with this privacy fenced area, there's not any shared spaces. He's available for 24/7 emergencies, maintenance, concierge, and "Cool Joe," of who take care of mine/his business. Our property has been five years newly renovated from the roof, kitchen, bathroom, and furniture unto tile on the floor. Plus, thank God our property manager maintained/repaired the many damages by guests/dogs over these five years. Stay safe and stay blessed ❤️

Unbelievable !

We drove by this property 3 times before pulling in the driveway because it did not look like what was pictured on VRBO. There was a car parked in the driveway, the fence door to the backyard was hanging by hinges, indoor furniture (the chair that is pictured in the living room photo posted on VRBO) was on the front porch along with a rusted patio chair. The front door to the house looked as if someone had tried to break in multiple times. The beds looked like they had been slept in. The couch that is pictured in the living room on VRBO is on the back patio with cloths on it. A full-size refrigerator was on the patio with electrical cords/extension cords in the dirt and random chairs strewn about. However, the most EGREGIOUS aspect was that the “ON SITE PROPERTY MANAGER” WAS ACTUALLY LIVING IN LOCKED ROOM IN THE HOUSE You can see his room next to the fire extinguisher on the pictures on VRBO! This door is covered by a curtain! Due to safety concerns we left the property. We contacted the owner through the VRBO email portal and we were told the property was safe, obviously that statement alone didn’t make us feel safe so we stayed elsewhere. From our view the posting should include a statement that the ON Site MANAGER is actually an IN HOUSE MANAGER, if we had known this we wouldn’t have rented. In addition, the pictures didn’t look anything like the rental shown on VRBO. For anyone looking to rent this property make you own judgement of the strange arrangement feels safe for you. We will take every opportunity to share this experience with others!

The guest house--(own entry way door, room, kitchenette, bathroom, no shared spaces, privacy fenced), which is safe/rentable on VRBO platform per as in description. Obviously Chuck stayed two nights, the well trained cleaning crew states the bed looks as it was slept in, as Chuck told on himself, lol, CDC regulations are EVERYTHING to be cleaned and sanitize after every guest. And yes the upgraded furnishings for smoking areas are comfortable The Jazzy Escapes where LOVE ❤ is

The blinds need to be replaced bc some are missing including in bedroom. Better towels. The bathroom window placement was not ideal, toiletries were discount brands and dusting of ceiling fans are a few suggestions. Had space and wifi. Wont book again.

Take the good with the bad

The open floor plan in the front was nice. Towels were provided, as well as shower products. The beds were comfy. The option to sit on the front porch was available (not seen in photos). Pest extermination is needed. There were roaches and lizards inside (I have video and photo). I was there due to medical purposes and the lizard startled me when it crawled on me in bed, I popped a stitch. Maintenance didn't respond when called on for the lizard. The smell of Marijuana came through the vents. Smh! The bedroom and living room furniture is not what is shown on the photos. The ice maker didn't work. The a/c was powerful and kept us cool during the night and early day. For some reason it didn't work well in the evening. Minus the critters and Marijuana smells, I'd rent again.

Thanks for visiting!! We do have Orkin Pest control. Our home has been updated with better furnishings in/out. So, bedroom/living room/front porch pictures not on the platform. Never heard someone complaining about an upgrade, which living room now has reclining chair now.. And our maintenance was away working somewhere else, but for a lizard?? And at the end we know your stay actually was lovely 👍🏻😁❤

Nice house and safe neighborhood

Nice and clean house. Neighborhood feels safe and clean. Open kitchen/dinning/living area is spacious. Kids like the fenced backyard. There is even an huge Mango trues with tons of mangoes :). The owner answered the question promptly. The cleaning crew is very friendly. Would definitely recommend it. Thanks for renting your house to our family!
