Dieses Haus befindet sich im historischen Viertel von Mesilla und bietet den Charme des Südwestens. Das Restaurant und die faszinierende Kultur sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Mesilla Plaza ist 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und von guten Restaurants und Geschäften umgeben. In den von Backsteinen gesäumten Straßen haben sich Persönlichkeiten wie Billy the Kid und Pat Garrett aufgehalten. Die Basilika San Albino ist von zu Hause aus zu sehen!

Comfortable and beautifully furnished

We stayed 5 nights and loved the location, just a short walking distance to Old Mesilla square, shops and multiple restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Charming Mesilla in enchanting NM

This lovingly and meticulously restored ancestral adobe home exudes the spirit of Mesilla. Enjoy the comforting embrace of a traditional adobe home. The gated & covered carport is a rare bonus. Location is unbeatable, with easy strolling access to the studios, shops, and restaurants surrounding the plaza.

Fantastic place to stay

This is the second time I have stayed at Case De La Paloma. Great location within the heart of Old Mesilla. Both times I was lucky enough to stay during a festival in Old Mesilla with entertainment and food trucks. Place was roomy, quiet and very clean.

Love the History!

It was a privilege to stay in a totally renovated adobe home in such a historic neighborhood. A block away from the plaza, shops and restaurants. The home was very comfortable, clean and well appointed in Southwestern style. We thoroughly enjoyed our week.

Outstanding rental, Great Town

My wife and I spent a month at Little Fawn's family home in Mesilla by Las Cruses, New Mexico. The house was spotless. All renovations have been done with great care and are 1st class. The house is perfect getaway. The historic town of Messilla has fine quality restaurants and bars - we loved the bar in the Double Eagle Restaurant! The town square is only a block away from the house, which is full of restaurants, gift shops, and more. When we did not eat out, the wonderful kitchen allowed us to eat in without any problems. From this spot, one can take day trips to El Paso, Silver City or the spectacular White Sands National Park. There are also some decent golf courses in town. Overall, we could not have had a better stay. Of all the VRBO properties we have rented, we felt privileged to have spent four weeks at this home.

The property is as described and was very comfortable. Since it is close to the Mesilla square we were able to walk to local shops and restaurants. We loved Mesilla and plan on returning.

Excellent location by Mesilla Plaza! The house Is extremely clean, comfortable, and decorated with southwest charm. The private patio was a plus for coffee in the am & drinks in the pm. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, & activities at the Plaza. We were well taken care of. We will be sure to return❤️

Great location just off the Plaza!!

I can’t say enough about “Casa de Paloma” in Mesilla, AZ. Just a few doors off the historic plaza the charm of this beautifully maintained and restored home was enchanting. The eye to detail the quality of furnishings, bedding, appliances and decor amazed me. My sisters and I could walk everywhere and made fast friends with locals. The owner (Ana) has systemized everything so check in and check out were a breeze. She made herself available with prompt answers to questions about local spots and she is delightful to work with. I will be back, as often as I can! Thank you for everything Ana!

Great House, fully stocked, close to scenic old downtown

We loved everything about this house to the point that we are considering putting a similar tile for my home. Beds are comfie, property well-maintained (no bugs or drippy faucets), had necessary appliances and essentials in cabinets. I'd recommend you bring your own drip coffee and mini filters as the little coffee discs provided weren't great. Largest TV's I ever saw in a rental. Tip: HVAC units mounted toward the ceiling - panels can be adjusted so they aren't so blowsy. Restaurants are exceptional - within a block. You can't miss the Double Eagle on the registry of historic places. Be sure you get an explanation of all the interesting factoids. We will return - we enjoyed this house so much. (-if you don't beat us in~!)

Charming! Immaculate! Wonderful Amenities + a SUPERB LOCATION!!!

Just returned from a 5 night stay at La Paloma Casita in Mesilla NM. I have family in town, graduated from NMSU and know the area very well, so when my cousins and I decided to gather for a mini-reunion the stakes were hi! We found this property to exceed expectations. Newly renovated, well-appointed with all amenities you could ask for, spotlessly clean, with lovely personal details and tasteful local art throughout, not to mention it is the perfect location (less than 5 minute walk) to dine in Mesilla (cocktails at the Double Eagle - dinner at Chala's/Andele's Dog House, fantastic service and breakfast at Josefina's Old Gate and of course lovely shops for an easy afternoon shop. Lovely private outdoor patio to read and relax, also very near an easy access to a semi-shaded scenic trail for the joggers/walkers in your group with a view of pecan orchards. Although we did have some major issues with one of the ac units, the owner was very responsive and did their very best to get it resolved quickly. It was also record-breaking hot the days we were there. We will 100% return in the future. Thank you La Paloma for a lovely stay!

Most Excellent Get Away

My husband, adult son and I just returned from a wonderful three nights at Casa de Paloma. The property is a lovely old adobe that has been beautifully restored and carefully decorated. We enjoyed sitting out on the enclosed patio at night, appreciated the off street parking and liked the walkable access to local restaurants and sights.

Comfort with traditional flair!

Visiting family during the restrictions of COVID is difficult. However, this quaint little casa was what my family needed. The history of the house and the location can not be beat. I have lived most of my life in Las Cruces and probably have driven by this little gem a dozen times. It felt like home and we loved being walking distance to the Plaza. I really enjoying cooking on that beautiful stove. The beds were comfy and everything was labeled for usage. Thank you for sharing your family’s story and your home. Looking forward to visiting again.

Perfect getaway

This property is a gem. Only a block from the historic Mesilla plaza. Newly remodeled and artistically decorated Adobe with a gated patio/carport. Super clean. The beds and sofas were oh so comfy. The owner has thought of every convenience and need you might have. She responded immediately to my concern about the wifi and had it fixed within minutes. So clean and well maintained. Highly highly recommend.

Perfection in old town Mesilla

Location, Location, Location...just perfect. 1/2 block off the historic square of historic Mesilla. Walk to all of the wonderful shops and restaurants. The food was so good everywhere I never even used the wonderful kitchen setup this place has. WiFi was great and TVs were mostly setup for streaming services which worked fine. 2 big separate bedrooms with separate batch’s worked great, along with the living room fold out couch. Everything was very clean and felt very peaceful and inviting. Nice covered sitting area and parking area outside with table and chairs. Super quiet at night, it’s not really in a neighborhood, your literally staying downtown old Mesilla. I only noticed one neighbor the whole time, an older gentleman in back that never made a sound. Honestly everything was perfect. They texted me on check in day letting me know it was ready so I was able to check in early which really helped. I cannot wait to get back there and stay another week. And be sure to try the aged steaks at the double eagle. Oh my!

Wonderful Place!

We loved being in this beautifully decorated, well-stocked, and well located home in Mesilla. We slept soundly in the king-sized bed in the master bedroom after days of hiking and a delicious dinner at one of the many restaurants in town. It is and easy drive to some wonderful hiking areas in the Organ Mountains, White Sands, etc. The shopping in Mesilla is fun. People are very nice and friendly. We can't wait to return!

nice house, noisy location

We loved the house... very cute and well decorated. Our only complaint was the location. While close the historic Mesilla, it was in a very poor neighborhood. I would not have been comfortable walking around there at night. Lots of street noise. We also were very disappointed that there was no cable or dish option to view network channels. While there was plenty of entertainment via the internet, we wanted to watch live network TV and were not able to. To summarize, the house was very cute, but would not choose that location again.
