A wonderful week!

This cabin was just as advertised and reviewed and perfect for our needs. It is very clean, well stocked and comfortable. We were visiting our recent college graduate who works at Jacob’s Pillow, and the location was especially perfect for that. It was so close that we saw her much more than we anticipated because she could pop over between shows. It’s also centrally located to visit many Berkshire attractions. Highlights this trip included a day spent renting a pontoon boat and tooling around Lake Onota, several Guilded Age mansion tours and (a real highlight - highly recommend) the Clark Institute of Art in Williamstown. And of course three fabulous dance shows at Jacob’s Pillow! One (pleasant) surprise in the house was the basement with another TV and foosball table - I hadn’t noticed that from the listing or other reviews. Lots of room to spread out if you have a bigger crowd than we did. If our daughter spends a third summer at the Pillow, we will definitely hope to rent this great cabin again.

A relaxing, cozy cabin

This is my second time renting this wonderful cabin. The hosts have created such a warm, inviting and comfortable space. My family and I enjoyed an incredibly relaxing stay in the cabin and its picturesque surroundings. I plan to spend my upcoming visits to Western Massachusetts at this lovely property.

Beautiful Cottage in Secluded Location with Modern Amenities

We (couple + dog) enjoyed our stay at the Woodland Cottage. Set on a secluded gravel road in Otis, this cottage feels immersed in the natural surroundings and offers a private retreat that's still within a reasonable drive of all that the Berkshires has to offer. As the cabin is newer, it has many modern touches that make it a very relaxing place to stay.

Perfect Cabin in the Woods!!

This is our 3rd time staying at the cabin! It is the most perfect cabin in the woods. The cabin is stocked with anything you could need for your vacation AND the house has walking trails right out the door. This is the most perfect vacation house.. Shhhh.. Only tell your most deserving friends and family because this place is truly magical. Can't wait to come back next year.

Amazing log home

This home is better than what it appears on VRBO. It's incredibly clean, we thought it was brand new. The property is peaceful and there are probably about 3 miles of trails accessible from the house. If you're looking to just get away I wouldn't consider any place else. Perfect for elderly and kids. TONS of space.

Perfect getaway

It doesn’t get much better than this cabin. This was our (myself & two girl friends) fourth visit for our “girls” getaway. The cabin is beautiful, plenty of space & conveniently located. There’s hiking opportunities right on the property or venture over to Tyringham & give Cobble Hill Loop a try. The owners are always incredibly responsive to everything we need. We highly recommend it for a week or long weekend. And, we look forward to our next visit.

Wonderful place to vacation

My family and I enjoyed immensely our stay at the cottage. Beautiful property nestled in the countryside. We visited the surrounding towns of Lee, Lenox, Great Barrington and Stockbridge, and of course magical Tanglewood. The cottage was the perfect place to come back home to and relax. Quiet, charming, very clean with modern amenities. The host was attentive and responded immediately. We loved our vacation at the Berkshires and would not hesitate to return.

Beautiful spot for a quiet vacation!

We loved staying here! It was so quiet and relaxing and the house itself is immaculate. There are several trails for hiking on the property and we ended up using all of them over our week's stay. We had a small issue with one of the bathroom fixtures and the owner responded really quickly so there were no issues. We'd stay here again without any hesitation.

A piece of paradise in the woods

I have a love for authentic log cabins and Cathy's place was exceptional from the minute I arrived with my little dog. It was so peaceful and fully equipped I didn't want to leave to enjoy the sights of the Berkshires. But I did! It was incredibly clean, organized and tastefully done. I can't wait to return again some day.

Perfect

Kathy’s cottage was precisely as advertised. It’s hard to say what was best, but I would venture to say it was the beautiful porch overlooking a beautiful always mowed lawn and beyond it a forest. It was close enough to all the attractions of the Berkshires including Jacob’s Pillow, Tanglewood, Shakespeare and company and the Barrington stage. Every night we saw another performance. We hiked about 15 different trails. The house itself is well equipped, the air conditioning extremely comfortable as were the beds, dishwasher. washer dryers and everything one could need for an extended stay. There is no question that if this beautiful home is available again we would rent it without a single thought or concern.

Relaxing stay in this delightful cabin

What a wonderful cabin a long weekend away! The cabin was clean and cozy, everything you could ask for. Friends getaway

Fantastic Getaway

Winter get-away

We had a wonderful stay. Skied at Butternut, went to MassMOCA and Eric Carle Museum, and relaxed. Plenty of reading by the gas fireplace. The house is adorable and was very clean. The location was about 20-30 minutes away from most restaurants and grocery stores. We had a wonderful time and would definitely go back again.

Wonderful Stay!

We loved the cabin and short of a shovel to push aside some surprise snow and slush from the porch (slippery) there was nothing the cabin was missing for comfort and relaxation. Would not hesitate to recommend this for families and couple alike. It was perfect for our dogs as well.

A wonderful stay

The house was wonderful! The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked, the instructions for everything absolutely clear, the place was clean and beautiful. The communication with the host was timely and helpful. We were four adults and the space was perfect for that, with two full bathrooms and plenty of living/hanging out space. The listing is very accurate, and everything was as promised. The area itself was beautiful, as well. Just a wonderful, lovely stay. We'd recommend the place to anyone.

Cozy getaway for a month

Very clean and well equipped for a long term stay. They thought of everything! Owner was very responsive to any issues that came up. Beautiful wooded lot with walking trails, our two dogs loved it! Be mindful that the long and windy road is only partly paved; the rest is gravel. A bit of a long drive to get to a grocery store, gas station, restaurant, etc.. Overall, very pleased with choosing this rental!

The weather was terrible with alot of rain so it was difficult to enjoy the days outside the house. But the house itself was very pleasant, if a bit isolated, and the large, covered porch was a wonderful place to read!

Fantastic weekend in the mountains

This was our second time at the cottage. It was wonderful. Its clean, peaceful and relaxing. We hiked, visited the Norman Rockwell Museum, and Edith Wharton's home, The Mount. The home is perfect for couples and families. We are already planning our next visit.

This property has been a project of mine for the many years. While my children, in-laws and grandchildren enjoy the cottage from time to time throughout the year. In between their visits, we rent it out for any visitors!
