Great location

The location is so convenient to the beach! The 4 bedrooms were great so everyone could have their own however one room had a rollaway and a bunk bed so for 2 adults it wasn’t ideal.

Perfect place!

Good family house!

Clean, spacious and open with lots of space for many to stay. Missing a few things in the kitchen such as a toaster and some of the furniture isn’t comfortable, but if you plan on being out in the Florida weather then it’s great!

Great Place!

The house was very spacious, updated, and clean! For us, the area was perfect. We were able to drive to various places without traveling very far. The 6 kids (ages 14-17) loved it. Plenty of room to have alone time and have fun being with everyone. The owner was available for any questions and also made the process easy. I would definitely come back and stay

Beautiful home with comfortable beds. Plenty of room to move about. Very happy to see back yard fenced in for our family dog to run about. Back yard could use a little clean up, but all in all, good enough. Dining room chairs could use some cushions or something a little more comfortable. But we had a very nice stay! Thank you!

Great place but needs outdoor work

The check-in process was simple. The property was clean and easy to find. The house was spacious and the beds were comfy. The backyard needs some improvement as the only place to sit offered no respite from the Florida sun and was too wet from the rain to even sit on. The card on the table upon check-in mentioned a tablet with further instructions but there was no tablet located anywhere in the house. I called the rental company number and left a message asking to be given further instructions and did not receive any type of communication for the entirety of our stay.

Worst vacation experience!! Waste of money!

Drove a distance (12 of us) and when close to property, received a text that check in is delayed an hour so cleaners can finish so we waited an hour, then arrived to cleaners just arriving stating it would be another hour so 6pm to 10 am!! When we finally got in, our feet were black from walking through the entry, cupboards had crumbs, futon was full of sand, hair, etc so we couldn’t use, silverware filthy, washer and dryer dirty. Profile says can sleep up to 14 but really doesn’t sleep more than 10-12. It was a horrible experience and very expensive. We were not able to spend as much time at the beach due to such a late check in. Company didn’t offer any type of reimbursement of any funds.

Disappointed

The Bad: The water pressure was non-existing. The showers felt like drizzling rain, the dishes came out of the washer looking like how it came in. I messaged the host and was told they would come and address the issue but no one ever came. We ended up purchasing supplies to clean the dishes. The yard horrible. The weeds were half way up my calves and the furniture were all broken. Bugs Galore! I understand that its FL and bugs are common but we had small roaches and bugs coming in the house left and right. It mainly due to the huge gaps in the doors and the unmaintained yard. Uncomfortable Furniture. The couch in the living room was broken and the chairs are made of spaced-out bamboo that needs cushion. We had to use pillows to sit in the chairs. The Good: Plenty of space and beds. Past guest left wake-boards for others to use.

Served it’s purpose

My 3 adult children, spouse and brother in town for a wedding! Proximity to church and venue were good. Beaches were close. The house was cheaply updated, the beds slept fine but the living room furniture was the MOST uncomfortable! The “couch” was a two piece college dorm model. Multiple garbage bags with foul odor were left in garage, outdoor lights did not work and made it difficult for entry into the house, air conditioner compressor went out upon arrival and we had to wait a day to get it fixed (not the owners fault), there was a dead large cockroach in the dining area (we were in FL but..at least it was dead), there was one blow dryer in the master bedroom to be shared by both bathrooms, no hot water in the kitchen, the barn door in the master bath would not close and was partially detached from the wall, the outside patio furniture was moldy and in disrepair, no dressers in any room (which would have been fine had there been more than 3 or 4 hangars on the closet to use) and no inside light in the garage where washer and dryer were located made it difficult and unsafe to see (we had to keep raising the garage door for light). I rated the house a 3 Star only for proximity to beaches, the showers were adequate and bed’s slept okay!

Location, decor, management great; a few inconveniences

Plus: • Location, layout, décor, management responsive • Arrived and half driveway was blocked with unmovable, full garbage can. Minor problem with kitchen faucet. Managers handled both immediately. Inconveniences: (We requested any kind of break on the price because of these, and the answer was no.) • Sofa was broken (one side of seat was caved in). • One sleep option, the futon had a dent in the seat, and the back did not stay up. We had to move it and prop it against the wall to use as a sofa, because the other sofa was broken. • Bunks are for children. No one over 5’4” will fit, and if an adult is in lower bunk, they hit their heads if they sit up (two of our guests did hit their heads). • Bathrooms have no towel racks or toilet paper holders. • Sheets on one bed were not fresh. We had to change them. • Light switches all have two switches but for most only one is connected to anything “live.” • There is no outside sitting space. With the grill, it would be nice to have table and chairs nearby. • Home does not accommodate 14 adults. We were 8 and had no comfortable sofas to sit on, and the bunks were too small for two of our guests.

Unclean and uncomfortable

The neighborhood is up and coming and was close to a good beach. We liked the large table, but had a hard time being comfortable in this house. Upon check-in we noticed beds with comforters missing and pillows placed incorrectly on the bed. Also cockroaches in two rooms along with a pile of droppings. It was clear no one had been to the house prior to our check-in. We called the management co and they supplied comforters and picked up the dead bugs. The floors from day one were very dirty and were not cleaned prior to our arrival as our children’s feet were black and we all had to wear shoes in the house from the very beginning. The couches were an entry level futon that was very hard and bumpy and a seemingly broken other couch that was caved in on one side. The chairs in the dining room are rattan and I’m pretty sure should have cushions but they don’t and isn’t comfortable. The property does not provide enough silverware and plates for the #of beds- I recommend getting disposalable unless you want to run the dishwasher after every meal. The front/back yard had scattered cigarette butts and bottle caps Overall the house has the potential and was decorated-ish, but it was clear there was no check-in inspection (as we were told it has passed). Or if there was I’m afraid of the management companys standards. We unfortunately were told since the cleanliness passed the inspection we could only receive a tiny refund. My disappointment!

The overall condition of the property was not as advertised in the promotional information online. The previous reviews shared online are pretty much accurate. To be completely honest with you, this home needs to be completely professionally cleaned and repaired. The outside service door coming into the garage from the backyard is a serious security concern, because the door frame is coming apart. Additionally the lighting on the outside is insufficient. It does not work, making it very challenging for us to enjoy the back patio. There is a back patio light, however, that light does not work. This is another safety concern due to the fact that it is hanging by wires alone. Pictures will be submitted following this message. The water pressure is extremely low, making it very challenging to wash hands and take showers. Cleanliness within the entire house was in adequate, leaving us to do a great deal of the cleaning when we arrived here to make it inhabitable. The bathrooms had shower with mold, which led us to have to purchase shower curtains to be able to take showers. The couch is in adequate with dips, making a challenging to enjoy the living room space. Broken the storage handle of the frost free space within the refrigerator was broken at arrival making it challenging to fully utilize refrigerator.
