The overall apartment was fine, nothing amazing. The bed up on the lofted area was decent but difficult for two tall people to climb the stairs to access. Location was fantastic, we were very close to a lot of great sights, bars, restaurants.

Owner of the property was great - he sent me his mobile number and answered all of my questions really promptly. He even allowed us to check in early and check out late which was very accommodating. Cheap and cheerful - amazing location. Can’t complain. Would use again :)

Wohnung und Lage gut, Verwalter sehr unhöflich

Schöne Wohnung in sehr guter Lage, aber... In den letzten beiden Tagen wurde die Nachbarwohung demoliert. Wir waren nicht darüber informiert worden. Was die Kommunikation mit dem Verwalter betrifft, so hoffen wir, dass sie für andere niemals nötig sein wird. Jenseits von Gut und Böse.

QUesta persona scorda di dire che gli ho offerto di uscire proponendo la devoluzione per i giorni che non avesse usato. Ma questa persona ha declinato la offerta e dopo 20 giorni mi ha scritto chiedendomi la devoluzione per quei due giorni che suppostamente c"e stato il vicino che faceva rumore per lavori nel suo appartamento. Ho risposto a questa persona che io gli avevo offerto la devoluzione per uscire e cercare altra sistemazione, non per offrirgli gratuitamente l"appartamento. Allora questa persona ha minacciato che se non l"avessi pagato avrebbe messo un cattivo commento...E cosi e" stato.Ho gia chiesto a VRBO la esclusione di questa miserabile persona (non ci sono altre parole per definire tale deplorevole e miserabile atteggiamento) dalla comunita di VRBO in quanto non e" accettabile un tal comportamento. Mai e poi mai accettero minacce di cattive recensioni in cambio di una buona recensione.

très bon emplacement, spacieux et commode

L'appartement est grand et spacieux. Il est commode, propre et bien agencé. Rapport qualité prix, il est à conseiller. Il est situé en plein centre historique et on accède à pied à tous les sites importants. Le métro Daec Ferenc est très proche aussi. Le propriétaire est très aimable et accessible si on a besoin de lui demander quelque chose.

What a great location for an apartment in Budapest

We have had a great week in Budapest, if not a bit hot! The apartment is in a great location, and as described. It could do with a bit of TLC but a good place for seeing Budapest. The shop on the corner is great for breakfast supples, and the restaurants in the area are great. The host is good and very responsive to any messages.

Great location

Although the heat was relentless, we had a great time in Budapest. The apartment was clean and safe. Close to the river, restaurants, metro station and entertainment. The owner is a friendly Italian fellow.

Nice place in funky old apartment building

If you travel with a friend who snores like faulty diesel generator and lectures loudly in his sleep this is an ideal place to stay with doors to block the sounds. A loft above the sofas in the livingroom consists of the second bedroom. Also you can probably sleep on the sofa. Clean and sufficiently equipped. There’s a table with several chairs immediately outside the other bedroom where the neighbors come to smoke and gossip in Hungarian. You can probably learn a few words of their oddly unique language if you listen in but at 2 am you might prefer not to, like in my case. I easily restored the quiet but making up my own unique language and fireing off a short but very loud rant in the deepest voice I could produce. It remained nice and quiet for the additional two nights we stayed there. Great central location, pleasant owner who I met and offered some advice as to seal up a leaky shower which he attended to immediately.

Appartamento bellissimo, spazioso e molto luminoso con vista panoramica sul Danubio e sulle Terme Gellert!!! Ben servito dai mezzi pubblici, si può raggiungere facilmente qualsiasi punto della città; si trova a due passi dal Mercato centrale Nagy Vasarcsarnok e vicino alla famosa via Pal che ispirò il romanzo per ragazzi di Ferenc Molnár....

Grazie sono felice che tutto sia andato bene. Solo vorrei aggiungere per completare che il tram 4 e 6 si trova a circa 150-200 metri funziona 24 ore cosi che uno puo" tornare nell"appartamento anche a notte inoltrata senza dover preoccuparsi di prendere un taxi.

Mejor es dificil

Dificil es mejor! El apartamento se encuentra en el centro de Budapest a 50-100 metros de la metro y de Vaci Utca, la calle de lo shopping de Budapest. El wi fi funciona perfectamente (el codigo está atrás del modem). “El departamento es muy grande y cómodo.Tiene todos los utensilios que puedes utilizar, nos sirvió mucho la lavadora y la tina de baño fue un regalo para después de las grandes caminatas. Está muy bien ubicado Además Pierantonio es muy cordial, siempre está atento y lo mejor, habla perfecto español. Recomiendo mucho está opción de hospedaje.

Well Located and Economical

The apartment in and of itself was fine. Not fabulously equipped but sufficient. The location is very convenient to all attractions and you can walk almost everywhere. The neighbours can be noisy, often until very late as they seem to congregate right outside one of the bedroom windows and that's where they drink and smoke and talk - often loudly. My only complaint about this apartment is regarding communication with both the owner and the manager. First of all, the address we were given for the apartment did not include a building number (it is building number 8, in case you have the same problem). Then when we arrived at the metro station I received a text from the contact person asking when we would be at the apartment. I replied that we were at the subway station and could come right then if it was convenient or we would come at 2:00 as originally arranged. I never received a response. We went for coffee and then went to look for the apartment. That's when we discovered that we did not have a building number. It was nearing 2:00 and we had no idea where to go. Multiple texts and calls to the contact person went unanswered. I then tried all the numbers on the VRBO website for the apartment owner. The calls went straight to voice mail every time. Finally we went to an Irish bar on the street that had Wifi so I could email the owner. I never received a response. At about 3:00 I got another text from the contact person asking where we were and I said we were at the pub. He arrived there shortly. He spoke Spanish and Hungarian but very little English but we were able to communicate generally. At the apartment we tried to get onto the Internet but the posted password was incorrect. He promised that he would contact the owner and text us the password. When we left, 10 days later, we still had not received a text or any communication at all. We looked at the router and discovered the correct password on the back. We noted it and put it overtop of the incorrect information posted on the wall. There were no helpful notes left with regard to the operation of the heat, the dishwasher, or the washing machine. There wasn't a city map or any suggestions for restaurants which are often available in rentals. Overall, while the apartment was satisfactory the communication and the information provided was seriously lacking.

think that i have resolved the problem about the guests of the neighbours and have told that they can"t use these condominial part after 22.If they use it please advise to me (by whatsapp to this number (+57 318 84 96 96 5) or to the administrator. I think that Marian haven"t seen my answer because always i answer fast to the guests.THe check in is at 14.30 (and i have advise the guest about it) but anyway the administrator have told to me that he was waiting in the apartment from 14 but Marian instead to open the door with the code that i have given to her, was in the pub....About the internet code was write on the table of the living room too. Maybe the other guest have put it in other part of the apartment.Anyway thank you to tell to the our guests that if don"r see the paper the password is back to the router. Sorry if you think that we wasn"t helpful but why you didn"t write to me by whatsapp too? Really is too much dificul for us to know your dificult if you tell it only on the review and don"t write to us. Please to other guests to write to me and to the administrator because we can make wrongs but is too much difficult to understand if the guest have some problem if the guest don"t say to us anything.

Bellissimo appartamento

L'appartamento è molto carino, accogliente e pulito. La posizione è perfetta, a piedi si possono raggiungere tuti i monumenti della città. Proprio sotto casa c'è un supermercato e a qualche metro di distanza si può fare shopping e andare a mangiare in uno dei tanti ristoranti della via. La stazione della metropolitana è dietro l'angolo. Nonostante la posizione centrale, l'appartamento è tranquillissimo. Al nostro arrivo ci hanno accolti per darci le chiavi e il signor Pierantonio è sempre stato disponibile per qualsiasi richiesta. Assolutamente da consigliare. Grazie mille al signor Pierantonio per aver reso piacevolissima la nostra permanenza a Budapest.

Great location/price, Ok unit, Terrible neighbors

Unit is in a fantastic location and cheap price. Owner tries to be helpful. WiFi/TV are great. Unfortunately the neighbors put a table right outside the bedroom window, where they congregate at night (10pm, 2am, varies) and talk & smoke, with the porch light on. Window could therefore not be opened. All led to no sleep. Instead of immediately helping, owner complained that we waited until the 3rd night (1st weeknight) to inform him. But even after informing him, last night was no better. Unit can also be defined by what is missing: shower curtain, kitchen dish towel, sponge less than 1 year old, climbable stairs to the loft, a clean floor (socks turned black), working kitchen sink (leaked on dishes stacked for drying), fan for airing out unit which smells of neighbors smoke. If you don't mind night light, noise and smoke, unit is cheap. You get what you pay for. I would not recommend to my friends.

This guest at 1.30 A.M wrote to me by whatsapp and insulted to me because said that other persons made noise. I answered immediately that she need to speak with these persons and ask their the pleasure of don"t make noise because if others person make noise i can"t go there and i ask to be quiet at 1.30 AM!! I comprend this persons because was 80 years old, but was absurd that wrote to me during the second night and insult to me for these reason.. Only 1 time the guest had told to me about the noise and if happen it would be enough speak drectely with the persons, also because the neighbors are very educated persons and if they had noise friends maybe would be good for everybody to speak directely. But i don"t want say more things for respect for the elderly persons also if they was really too much rudes.

Place to stay in central Budapest location

The apartment was fine. We only stayed one night, but it was good for us. I would note that there is no air conditioning in the second bedroom. Our kids slept in the loft where there was air, the steps/ladder going up there were a little steep for us (a couple in our 50s), esp. since the bathroom is on the main level. Host was very accommodating and helpful. Pierantonio, I would recommend a shower curtain for the bath/shower as an upgrade for the bathroom which was otherwise fine.

thank you for your review. Nobody have air conditioning in the apartment (but i think that it could be good only few days by year...) because the apartment is an historical building in the city center and the hungarian law don"t allow to put the air conditioning. i can"t say nothing about the steps because i don"t know what fisical problem have the guests.Thank you for your sugestions!

Difícil dormir por la noche

El apartamento está bien situado, limpìo y recién renovado y no tuvimos problemas con la persona de contacto. Ahora bien, lo desaconsejamos por dos razones: una, no hay persianas o cortinas y, como que el piso da a un patio central, por la noche cada vez que alguien entra se encienden las luces y siempre hay luz, se oyen ruidos de personas entrando y saliendo. Además, la gente del piso de al lado tenía fuera una mesa y se pasaban la noche allí hablando con la luz encendida con lo que una de las habitaciones tuvimos que mantenerla cerrada porque estaba totalmente iluminada y en el resto del piso también había mucha luz. Tuvimos que comprar máscaras para dormir porque era imposible y aún así no descansamos. No recomendado si queréis descansar. Para nosotros fue un gran problema. Pere & Neil

la verdad es la primera vez que alguien se queja del ruido.Creo que he sido algo de muy raro o de "sensibilidad particular"., Ademas vi algo para taparse los ojos que vote...y me preguntaba a que servia eso....porque nunca nadie se quejo sobre ese tema. Todavia en verano me han dicho que a veces los vecinos tienen huespedes y se quedan afuera hablando. Si eso pasa seria solo que pedir amablemente a los vecinos de respectar y de no hacer ruido. Son personas amables asi que solo se trata de decirle las cosas tambien porque no siempre saben si hay o no hay personas en el apartamento Asi que el lugar tambien si es en lleno centro es usualmente bien tranquilo.
