The location of this listing was fantastic. We had 4 day tickets to JazzFest and walked to and from the festival every day. It took about 30 minutes each direction and was a beautiful walk. Aside from that, there were a lot of walkable restaurants in the area with great food. Groceries were a 10 minute drive away. The place was very clean and modern but had a couple things going against it. The toilet seats were the wrong size and not meant for those bowls. We had a laugh about it but still needed to be careful. The hot water worked in one shower but was lukewarm in the other one. Eventually we figured out the flexible hose in the bathtub had hot water too. It was a necessary discovery after applying sunscreen all day. The dishwasher still functioned but was the plastic frame was broken and there was no lid to keep the detergent pod in. Regardless, I'd stay there again. The 2nd floor was a great spot to meet up at the end of the day. The seats at the island and the couches were comfortable. There was a ton of space and it had nice balconys. When you changed the thermostat, it responded quickly. I give props to the host for being clear about all the different keycodes necessary to use the space, though a couple needed a little trial and error. It was memorable and as I said, I'd go back. Perfect Location with Plenty of Space

This location was in the perfect spot! It was only 1 block from the public transportation (runs every 10 to 15 min). We had plenty of space for everyone as well and everything was perfect. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Great place to basecamp in NOLA

Roomy, clean, easy, and a pool. What more could you ask for. Oh, 2 blocks from street car stop that takes you downtown. Some nice restaurants nearby if you are willing to walk.

Best location, Nice food

The house location is perfect, parking is convenient! Room size , kitchen, bath everything is nice ! Except: 1, bed is too soft , basically your sleeping in a curved bed; 2, WiFi is not cover whole house , only second floor have WiFi , 1st and 3rd dose’t have WiFi at all! The rest everything is perfectly! Will still rent this house next trip to New Orleans!

Nice rental

The property was clean and well-appointed. Walking distance to a nice supermarket and a couple of New Orleans’ best restaurants — Mandina’s and Katie’s. Trolley to Harrah’s, French Quarter and Garden District a short walk away. The only issue with property was locating remote controls for TVs which we did soon enough.

It was a great place. One criticism from our family was that the two bedrooms with queen beds—both rooms had few hangers and absolutely no drawers or dresser to unpack.

Location location location

We could walk to fun restaurants with great food, to a coffee shop with home made beignets, the grocery store, and even the trolley! It was also close to our niece who lives in Mid City. There were seven of us, and the villa has great open space for cooking, eating and spending quality time together! It was great having a double garage in a secured area protected by a gate. Great communication with the management company.

PERFECT place and PERFECT location.

Perfect. Seriously. We walked 5 minutes to breakfast to a different location each morning. 5 minute walk to street car stop which we rode all over the city for our excursions. Walked to dinner for two nights- Katie’s and Mandinas. Both were wonderful. The place is large and very cozy Would define return.

Great stay

Overall great stay for our family for son’s graduation weekend. Kitchen had enough pans and dishes. Common area of kitchen and living is very nice and open. Location is close to grocery stores. Parking is great. My following comments are only to make this property exceptional. First was the single couches could use some scrubbing or replacing. Great spot near downtown

Overall it was a great stay, but this is a all the time VRBO people do not live here so don’t expect any rugs game or regular things that you would see you in a persons home. It has bare-bones essentials. Apparently it was perfect for us and our kids just make sure to bring toys so the downstairs bedroom does not have a bathroom on the same floor so whoever stays there hast to go up the stairs to go to the restroom and two sets of stairs to shower. It was in close proximity to a good coffee shop and the trolley to get downtown. I would stay there again by.

Everything was great outside of the fact we didn’t have a working stove so our food was wasted outside what we could do with the provided hot plate. Also the garage door could never be opened with the code. We had to send someone through the front to open the garage from the inside. Pool was pretty saddening as well, but wasn’t a huge focal point for us. Other than this let down, we enjoyed our stay.

Jazzfest stay

The property was relatively clean, but the furniture was fairly dirty. Numerous damages to the walls and on the furniture. Biggest issues were service related. Air conditioning on the top floor went out which is where three bedrooms are located. We were without AC for over 24 hours. Biggest issue was that we had no hot water. Service request went out and the service man repaired it. However, it within less than a day it went out again. We were without hot water for our group of eight for more than two days.

Great to visit New Orleans but...

Great to visit New Orleans but...The property we stayed at had a few hiccups that were not divulged to us prior to our stay. The listing stated there was a fully stocked kitchen and pantry items, which we would expect at a VRBO. However, the stove didn't even work! We found this out after buying $200 worth of food. When I contacted the host they replied immediately and put me in contact with the property manager, who was d as Leo very nice and tried to make every right. However when I spoke to the person on site I was told that the stove had been down for two weeks and we were not contacted. They then moved my family to another unit, which meant moving all of our unpacked belongings and good, to another unit. We were told this unit did not have internet but they would have it fixed by that evening. It was not. We were then given a personal router after having to reach out again. The second unit was also not as updated with as the first as far as the furnishings in the living room and dining room area. Overall, the people I contacted were very nice and helpful in the end but I shouldn't of had to have all of those disturbances on vacation.

Jazz Fest

Our group of two couples had a great time at Jazz Fest this year. The unit was comfortable and suited our needs. Having a private garage to park in was great. It was easy to get to nearby restaurants and a local grocery store.

NOLA Visit

We had a nice stay at this property - very spacious and as described. My biggest complaints were that we had to get out of the car to enter the gate code and then again to enter the garage code, which wouldn’t be such a big deal, but the location is in the heart of all the New Orleans carjackings, so I was worried to death every time I had to hop out and leave my young child in the car. We would’ve loved to have a wine opener too, but not a deal breaker. The place was clean, but could use a good DEEP CLEANING. I would definitely return and recommend to others.
