We appreciate your good-natured accommodation of our serviceman under unexpected conditions, and are pleased that all was taken care of to your satisfaction. Regarding your highlighted opportunities for improvements and recommendations… I agree about the icemaker!! It’s a matter of drilling the wall/floor to run a new water line through to the ice maker and it will be set to go. Finding time between guests is the challenge. For now we have the ice trays, however a bag of ice in the ice bin will provide you with automatic dispensing. The weathered wood of the decks and docks (including the waterslide dock) remains forefront in our efforts with continued sanding and maintenance, and is slated for capital improvements once our calendar opens to allow enough time between guests to bring in a crew. As for the waterslide/dock, we want more than ever to open it back up again, but we take guest safety seriously, and until time allows for repair, we withhold its use until secured. We refrain from running electricity down to the water slide to pump water up, and are seeking the best options. (For years we did it the “old fashioned way” of forming a chain and handing a small cup or pale of water to the kid at the top!). We truly appreciate your insights, and take every recommendation to heart so we can enjoy hosting your family in the future! 😊
