Location was great. Condo could use updating. Light bulbs were burned out in the ceiling fan & fan blades were thick with dust . Pots and pans need replacing. Way past their prime, scratched heavily and burned. I went and bought a new pan to cook dinner. Floor in kitchen is coming up at the seam and could be a tripping hazard. Walls were stained and needed to be cleaned or repainted.

Condo and Property were misrepresented

I really am disappointed that I was not told that this unit was part of an open air complex that had multiple steep steps without adequate railing that were safe inside and outside the building, and going through sets of doors with luggage, that ended up staying in the car, because I could not carry them without fears of risks of falling. I am a Senior with degenerative disc disease and severe osteoporosis with high risk of fracture and this on the stairs was not conveyed. There was debris from leaves and dirt everywhere as it is an open complex to each entry with trees in the middle. And if it rains or snows, you will get it blown into your entry way. It is a dark entry as well and when inside the door, it does not look like the picture that is shown. That has multiple lights and filters used. It is dark. It is not light. There are no rugs. The layout is not like what is shown. The stove burners and liners underneath were filthy caked with old grease. There were small fans in the rooms, and the bed in the second bedroom had a white comforter and looks like it’s severely dented from overuse. The main bedroom needs a light blocking blind as there are Christmas lights that are woven into the railings outside that keep light coming into the bedroom all night. It is warm during the day and night with no AC only a small fan pointed at the bed. The floors were gritty and sandy. There was not adequate lighting in this place, and with paying extra for housekeeping you are required to take your trash to a dumpster I did finally find, but it was locked, so I drove until I found one and deposited it when I left Angel Fire. I would have cancelled if I had of known all of this and especially all of the stairs you will have to navigate. The unit next to this one had the screen off of its window when I arrived. I really wish there was a refund for this unit, and unless you are here with good knees and hips and arms to carry everything, it may not be the best for you. I have lots of pictures of the stairs and a video of the walk to get to the car that I thought I was going to just get out of and walk into my condo. This is not what was conveyed. I had just buried my Father, and drove 7 hours and was not prepared to arrive to these conditions.

Not cleaned

Got there and dirty towels, bedding, and bags if used stash left. I called multiple times but VaCasa never sent anyone so we had to wash all bedding, take out all trash, wash towels, and clean the whole place. Place is nice and good location but we had to spend several hours cleaning it. Disappointed with VaCasa service.

Review

Although the furniture throughout the place is updated and nice, the bedrooms are lacking as the beds and pillows are extremely old and uncomfortable. The cleaning fee is unreasonable as during the summer months as snow and mud is not a factor and you personally have to do most of the cleaning before checking out. I would not recommend this place.

Quaint condo, that has everything you need. Newer appliances and close to activities. I do wish we would have had access to the bottom floor ski lockers, but we managed. Would stay here again.

This condo was in a great location, nice spacious two bedroom. The unit is a little dated, could use an upgrade on pillows and mattresses. It was incredibly hot in the unit and we had the thermostat set at 50, we finally opened the windows. The water in the shower in the master bedroom doesn't turn off easily. Kitchen and living room were fine.

Decent but needs refresh

Stayed for 10 days for business nearby. Good price, good value. Stuff worked, mostly (see below). Nearly new washer and dryer. However, the building common spaces were dirty, as they are open to the outside and there was still occasional snowfall. Nice new towels, but the bed linen was worn. Carpet has seen better days, a long time ago. No explanation I could find about how the heating system worked, and it was below freezing several evenings. Dish network lost signal several evenings and power-off reset fixed it about half the time.

Great location, but outdated experience

The location was awesome and we couldn't have asked for a better spot, but there is where the niceness stopped. We arrived to the property a little before 4pm check in time and unloaded our bags at the door. The house keeping person was still cleaning when we arrived. She didn't leave until well after 4pm and we were left hanging around outside waiting for her to wrap up. She didn't have towels and had to leave and come back. Once inside the livingroom was burning hot, but the rest of the condo was cold. It was so hot in there we had to open windows and the balcony door to be comfortable and sleep with them open. Next, there as no wifi information and since we didn't have cell service to contact anyone we had to chase down someone in the parking lot to call our property manager for the password. We traveled with family and one of girls dropped something that fell behind the dresser and we moved it out to get it and there were dead bugs and dirty underwear back there. Gross! We picked this place for the kitchen, but trying to cook was difficult. EVERYTHING stuck to the pans no matter what we used to keep it from sticking. The pans are due for a much needed upgraded. Along with the beds, they were hard and uncomfortable. Thank good for a pull out sofa bed that was comfortable to use. We had a great time skiing, but the comfort level of this stay was subpar.

Weekend away

We had a total of 4 adults at the condo, it was the perfect size. Overall it was clean and there was lots of room. Decor was a bit dated and the carpet had some stains, most likely from people wearing shoes in the house. It was the perfect location for ski and snowboarding at Angel Fire!

This was a great little condo!

This condo was perfectly stocked for our needs. It was warm and cozy and close to the ski slopes. We will definitely be back!

This place was sufficient for our needs - just needs to be updated a little

Was OK - but needs to be updated - the shower heads in both bathrooms need to be replaced - it's like you are taking a shower with a garden hose. The carpet looked horrible - needs to be cleaned or replaced. The pull out couch was horrid - like sleeping on a steel rod - the 2 bedroom beds are obviously old as well and could use an upgrade !! The washing machine was not operating and smelled like mold in that closet. It appears that there is an ice maker in the freezer - but not working - why not get that fixed instead of using ice trays ??? The back porch off the master was a mess and the curtains were old and falling down

Disappointed

The property was obviously not kept up as it had very old wallpaper, lighting. Many of the lights in the condo had no light bulbs or didn't work. The light switches also didn't coordinate with the lights. There was no way to access ANYBODY to help with issues with the until until 4 hours after we arrived. The issue still wasn't resolved for 24 hours, so we had no Wifi access until the following day at 5pm. The emergency numbers posted int he unit were from a previous owner who sold the business the year before. Overall.. run down unit, no local contact to resolve issues. Would give this a poor rating and misrepresented on their website!

Disappointed

The property is nice and close to the resort and mountain, but this unit is really run down. The carpet was very dirty and the place needed a deep clean. In addition, the emergency contact numbers were all incorrect and we were unable to get ahold of anyone when we needed them.
