Great stay!

We really enjoyed our time at this VRBO. It was just steps to the beach with our own private access. The back deck was great and we saw some amazing sunsets. The hot tub was nice at night and a good size. It was a great location, near the city pier, where we saw stingrays jellyfish, and a sea turtle! Few items to note, the road noise was pretty loud for the two rooms where the kids were staying, but it didn’t bother my kids as they’re heavy sleepers. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely book again!

Family Trip

My family and I had such a wonderful stay. We had a group of 11 and everyone was comfortable. This home is so warm and inviting. We made the trip for New Years Eve at Pier Park which is in walking distance from the house. As a matter of fact we really never drove once we arrived at the house. We walked to Pier Park or hung out at the beach because the weather was so nice. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Property

This is our second summer in a row staying at Pier Pleasure. The property met all of our needs from location, steps to the beach, convenience to attractions and restaurants, and roominess. We traveled with our two grown children and their families, and everyone had his/her own space. The hot tub was an added bonus as was the lifeguard stand nearby. I won’t hesitate to book this property again for future trips.

Fantastic fall break vacation

I can’t become to say how much my family and I enjoyed our vacation in this beautiful beach house. I will start off by saying location, location, location!!! Steps away from pier park where I spent WAY too much money…LOL… My dad is an avid saltwater fisherman and he really enjoyed walking to the pier every morning and afternoon. Beach access was great and the hot tub on the back porch was amazing. We will definitely be back next year! Thank you for a amazing vacation.

Lullwater beach was a DREAM come true

Overall the experience we had from the end of Jan 2020 - the first part of Mar 2020 was amazing. First off the manager Tracy is very easy to work with, any little thing we had happen she went to work on immediately. Secondly the housekeeper was doing a fantastic job of cleaning. The only real issue was the garbage pickup which Tracy got worked out after a couple times

This is a wonderful house!!!

You walk in and feel at home! The furnishings were very nice, the view spectacular & only a hop, skip & a jump to the pier & pier park. The Gulf's water on our first day was horrible, brown & really rough. But thankfully cleared up and calmed down each & day to show us the beauty of this emerald paradise!!! The boat ride out to shell island was awesome! The water there is amazing & the "kiddie pool" perfect for our toddlers! Thank you Ms. Rachel for your home & all your help! And thank you Panama City Beach for all your beauty! We ❤️ Florida!

Perfect for Us

This property was perfect for our family beach vacation at PCB. It was beach front and literally steps to the sand and water. There was plenty of room for five adults and five children (including one infant), and was well appointed in anticipation of every need. The kitchen was well-stocked, the living area was roomy and the bedrooms were comfortable. We especially liked that it was all on one floor. No stairs to climb. The deck offered comfortable lounge chairs, two grills (gas and charcoal), and a hot tub. The location was great as it was close to shopping and restaurants. During much of our stay, we were under red flag warnings, and liked the fact that there was a lifeguard station just a few yards down the beach. Although we know about the flag warning system and are respectful of it, it still added a level of security we haven’t felt at other locations. This property ticked all our boxes when looking for a rental. We will stay here again.

Absolutely Stunning

We had the best time staying here. I'm picky about cleanliness and the place was immaculate. Home was well stocked with everything we needed for the stay. Kitchen, toiletries, beach towels, etc. There were even some extra beach toys on the side of the house. Right when you walk in you have a stunning view of the beach it was so fun on sunny days and to watch the storms rolling in. The home is located on a main road and we heard normal traffic but not nearly enough to be a bother. It was very easy walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. We had our young kids with us and found plenty to do on the stormy days to stay busy. The foosball table inside was a huge hit. Beautiful short path to the beach right off the back deck. Didn't deal with others posting up in front of the house at all, there was plenty of space. The sand is like silk and the water was so clear. We saw jelly fish, sting rays, fish, crabs and dolphins. Couldn't believe the amount of space the home provided. There were 4 adults and 3 kids and we not once felt like we were crammed in. There was also ample covered parking for our two vehicles. My only regret is we didn't get to utilize the beautiful deck and hot tub more often. Hope we make it back here soon, it was an absolute dream to stay at for the week.

Lovely Spring Break

We loved the beach house. With 2 families traveling we felt like we had enough privacy and space. The hot tub was the number #1 reason we booked knowing it might be chilly for Spring Break. We were so happy we had it! It was used every day. The layout and decorations were great. The couch was great for our group! The location of 6 houses down from Pier Park was great! We could easily walk to shops, dinner and ice cream. The only couple of things to be aware of are the traffic is very loud. If you have light sleepers you may need to bring a noise machine. Also it would be nice if there was a TV in the bunk room. The other thing to be aware of is the beach is the dog park beach, we love dogs so it wasn't an issue but I know folks with a fear of dogs that would be a nervous wreck. This house is literally steps to the beach and was stocked with beach accessories! The only reason I gave the house a 4 star is because the dishes were dirty and cabinets. The rest of the home was immaculate. We just chose to go purchase disposable plates, cups and utensils. We would definitely rent again! Oh and we highly recommend renting a paddle board (they drop off and pick up right on the beach or porch).

We had a great vacation.

I almost don't want to give a glowing review because we want to come back and we don't want everyone else booking! But that wouldn't be fair to Rachel, the lovely owner. The location is spectacular, I had an easy walk to pier park for shopping, my daughter walked out the back door to the beach (towels and beach chairs provided!), and my husband spent the days fishing from the pier, also an easy walk. The house is roomy and well equipped. I don't think we needed to buy anything but food. I have a few comments for future guests considering the house. They are only positive or negative depending on what you are personally looking for... 1. The house has 2 bedrooms on the street side and 2 on the water side. The street side bedroom are much noisier than the back bedrooms. Can't have this great location without being on busy Front Beach Road, though. 2. There are outside security cameras. Their presence is clearly noted when making reservation. I didn't think I would mind and I perfectly understand their use. In fact, I have them on my own house. But, gotta be honest, they creeped us out a little bit. We certainly don't do anything too camera worthy but I'm not sure I'd be great sitting in the hot tub (we didn't use it during our stay) with someone else's camera trained on me and we were always 'aware' of them. 3. Bedrooms: Only the small front bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. No closet, though. The other 3 bedrooms (2 back masters and the front bunk room) use common, very well appointed, bathrooms. But, you need to walk past the living/dining area to use them. We are a family of three who picked the house mainly for it's location. We didn't totally like that the 4 bedrooms were placed kind of far away from each other in the four corners of the house. No two bedrooms share an adjoining wall. This had us occasionally going, 'hellooooo, where are you?' For another group this might be a great thing! 4. Finding the house. Because the house is on a busy street sometimes it's hard to slow down to look for house numbers. Also, the shrubs make it hard to see the house until you are beside it. Some kind of marker would be so helpful; a distinctive plant, a pink flamingo, a flag???? Maybe we're just slow learners? Great to park with protection from rain, though, and great to be able to turn around within the driveway. Overall, we were very comfortable and thought the price was reasonable for what we got. We would book again.
