This stunning two bedroom, two bathroom holiday apartment is nestled in Bloomsbury, one of London’s most desirable postcodes. The outstanding apartment sits on the 2nd floor of a restored traditional London townhouse. It offers holidaymakers in London luxury living and the perfect base to explore the city from. This Bloomsbury holiday apartment in London is perfect for romantic getaways, families, small groups or business travellers.
The property is ideally situated for exploring some of the biggest tourist attractions such as Covent Garden St Paul’s Cathedral, and The British Museum are all a short walk from the apartment. The City of London is a 20 minute walk from the apartment making it a perfect base for business travellers. The apartment is accessed from the large entrance on the corner of John Street, the apartment is accessed via a grand marble effect staircase. Entering the holiday flat itself you come into the hallway which the apartment is laid out around. Turning right as you step into the apartment you first come to the fabulous living space. This room is elegantly and tastefully decorated with high quality furnishings. The comfortable sofa also doubles up as a sofa bed, sleeping two guests. The room is decorated in a modern-retro style with a high-back chair and foot rest for reclining and relaxing after a hard day exploring the city. From here you can see out of the window on to beautiful John Street below. Entertainment is taken care of thanks to cable T.V in the living room and BT WiFi throughout the property. The room also includes the dining space with an elegant modern glass dining table with seating for six. It is the perfect space to plan your days out together or chat with friends over a glass of wine. For business travellers this can also double up as an effective work space. Returning to the hallway we next come to the kitchen. The cosy kitchen is fitted out with all the latest equipment and everything you need to prepare fabulous meals with. Appliances include an induction hob (great if you have children) oven and microwave. You’ll also find a Cookworks coffee maker as well a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and large fridge freezer. We also provide essentials such as tea, coffee and cooking oils. Please see the facilities list below for further details. Back to the hallway and next we come to the twin bedroom. This is the smaller of the two bedrooms, with two single beds (sleeping two guests). The beautiful room is simple, yet stylish and features plenty of storage space for both guests luggage. Returning to the main hallway you find the family bathroom. This refined, spacious, tiled bathroom is perfect for long romantic or relaxing baths as well as showers with the shower-over-bath. There is also a sink and WC. There is plenty of space to store all your bathroom essentials and beauty products. We also provide luxury toiletries for all your party (including handwash lotion, bath & shower gel, courtesy of Aqua Via. Finally we come to the master bedroom (turn left when entering the apartment). This features a king size bed and sleeps 2 guests. The room includes a large fitted wardrobe running down one side of the room, so there’s plenty of space to bring lots of outfits, and even buy one or two more from the fabulous boutiques in Covent Garden. The master bedroom also has its own en suite bathroom with walk in shower and sink. Toiletries are also provided. Both bedrooms are fitted and decorated to the highest standards, featuring fabulously comfy bedding, cotton sheets and gorgeously fluffy towels. This family friendly London holiday rental flat is situated on John Street, accessed from Roger Street, on the outskirts of Bloomsbury and minutes from the City of London. The West End, City of London and Covent Garden are all reachable in around 20 minutes or less. Close by tube stations include Russell Square, on the Piccadilly line with direct access to Heathrow in under 50 minutes and one stop from St Pancras International, Holborn and Chancery Lane. The latter two stations are on the Central Line running through London and giving direct access to the City of London.

Everything You Need in London for Family Vacation

We are a family of 4 with 2 teen boys. We stayed in this flat for 7 days and were very happy with it.

Communication - Heritage is very responsive and efficient.

Check-in - Our meeter, Bill waited for us in the flat. He helped with our luggages and pointed us to the amenities and supplies in the flat. The check-in was smooth.

The space - The flat was not big, but enough for our family. The kitchen is well equipped and the dining area can sit up to 6 people comfortably. We were able to prepare quick breakfasts before we headed out. Bedrooms have good storage space for clothing and personal stuff. The 2 bathrooms work out great. We especially liked the one on the hallway with a bathtub.

Location location location - The flat is between Bloomsbury and Clerkenwell. It is very central to the essential attractions for our first time to London. Both Buckingham Palace (to the west) and Tower of London (to the east) are about 45 minutes walk from the flat. Not to mention that British Museum is right in Bloomsbury by Russell Square. If you need to go somewhere further, there are 2 tube stations within 10 minutes walk and King's Cross is just 15 minutes away.

Dine and shop - You saved all the hustle and bustle (and money) comparing to Covent Garden or Soho. This neighborhood is much more relaxed and local. That being said, there are plenty of great places to eat and grab a cup of coffee. There is a really good espresso bar in just a minute downstairs. If you are a specialty coffee person, there are 2 close by places (Caravan Exmouth Market and Redemption Roasters) serving V60 brew to order. You can find British, Mediterranean, South African, Vietnamese, and a lot more other cuisines all within a short walk. Oh... how can I forget the great French bakery Aux Pains de Papy by King's Cross is just 10 minutes walk away.

This flat really made us feel like home. I will recommend it to anyone travel to London.

This is a lovely flat in a great location. It's clean, comfortable, we had everything we needed for the 5 days we were there. Shops, restaurants, pubs and two very convenient tube stations very near by. It was a wonderful home away from home. Also, organized an airport pick up which went very smoothly. Two thumbs up.

Great family flat

This flat was great for our family of 5 (3 teens). The sofa bed was large, comfortable and left plenty of room in the large space for spreading out and dining. The apartment was clean and well stocked. We ate in often as it saved us a ton of money! Neighborhood was a leisurely walk to Picadilly, Leiscester Sq, and the main theater district. In fact we walked all the way to Buckingham, Westminster, and the South Bank from the flat. Heritage was very professional. Met us at flat as planned and was very responsive in email correspondence. We have no hesitancy recommending this property.

Good place to stay in London

This property worked out very well for our family of five. It is on a quiet street . The Russell Square and Chancery lane tube stops are 5-7 minute walk away.

The flat was well stocked for our arrival. One minor flaw on arrival- we were told address was 21 John street - rather than 20 John street. Took us a while to get straightened out but worked out ok.

Would absolutely agree with previous posts about the tiny washer /dryer. Do not count on it for anything more than very small touch-up wash loads.

Beds were ok but could have been more comfortable.

If you don't mind walking soho, covent garden, Whitehall etc. are ok to get to from this location. British Museum easy walk from here.

The co-op food store is a few minutes away. Some nice stores and places to eat on Lamb's Conduit st. - 3 or

4 streets over- particularly recommend noble rot wine bar and the lamb pub. Also decent Indian restaurant a couple streets over.

Would have no major concerns staying here again.

Perfect apartment in a great neighborhood!

We stayed here over Thanksgiving with our 2 adult children while visiting our youngest daughter who is in London for school. We were in the flat for 10 days and it met all of our needs. The flat looks just as depicted & is smartly appointed. The kitchen, as others have said, is quite small but we made it work & actually made dinner in a couple of times. FYI the washer/dryer which is a 2 in one combo machine is VERY small & really is only for tiny loads. That being said it was nice to be able to wash a few things. We had a couple hiccups while in the flat (to be expected when staying for 10 days) but Karen at Heritage Apartments couldn't have been more on top of it. She always responded immediately to my text or call. She also allowed us to extend our stay by 5 days with little notice which was fantastic. Love the neighborhood as we were trying to be close to our daughter who attends NYU in London & her dorm was literally 3 blocks away! Tube stops are a bit of a walk but we enjoyed the walk & the buses couldn't be closer. We ended up riding the double decker buses quite a bit as you get such a great overview of London & you are able to much get much closer to exactly where you are going than if you take the tube. There is a bus app that makes it easy to figure out. Last but not least there are 2 1/2 steep flights of stairs up to the unit but other than when we arrived & left & had to drag our huge suitcases up (which the greeter helped us with on arrival) it didn't bother us too much. Would definitely stay again!

Well Appointed Apartment in the Heart of London

Although we were an hour late due to delays at the airport, our host was there to meet us the moment we arrived for which we were most thankful. The apartment is beautiful furnished and very comfortable (and quiet) and full of natural light with a well equipped kitchen, which we used every day. The apartment is handy to everything and there's a CoOp market just three blocks away. I'd stay there again in an instant.
