This large cottage was exactly what we needed for our family vacation. It truly is the perfect place to relax and escape. We loved the spacious gathering areas where everyone could come together for activities and games, as well as the cozy spaces for reading a book, having great conversations, or simply enjoying a little peace and quiet. It was also wonderful for everyone to have their own bedroom! I can’t say enough about how much all four generations of our family enjoyed our week here.Some of our favorite things were the cottage’s history, the beautiful sunrises, the covered porch, the fire pit, the hammock, multiple refrigerators, the well-stocked kitchen, the large dining table that comfortably seated everyone, ample parking, kayaks, boating, the shallow area that was perfect for kids to swim, the on-site boat mooring, and so much more.If you are vacationing here in the summer, don’t let the lack of air conditioning scare you away. The house has plenty of windows that let in the shady summer breeze, which can actually be quite cool in the mornings and evenings.Communication was wonderful. I reached out with questions and requests along the way and Katie was quick to respond and was very accommodating with our large group!Thanks for having us, Katie! We are so grateful to have stayed in this treasure. We hope to return again!
