nehmen Sie die orange U-Bahn U3 (Richtung Simmering) für fünf Stationen bis Stephansplatz, dann mit der roten U-Bahnlinie U1 (Richtung Leopoldau) für eine Station bis Schwedenplatz. Überqueren Sie die Brücke "Marienbrücke".

Central, clean and comfortable

Our stay in Vienna was made better by having a central location with mass transit in front of our door. The clothes washer was great too, a definite benefit. We had everything we needed. Much better than staying in a hotel room.

Nice clean apartment with great location

The apartment is clean and new Celt equipped. The location is excellent. Only 5 min walk to the cathedral, which is like city center with lots of restaurants & shopping. Excellent communications with the host upon arrival. I would highly recommend this place.

Good location, Great Host

The flat is extremely conveniently located. Very close to the centre and the public transport networks but across the river from all the hubbub so it's relatively quiet. It is also very well kitted out with all the bits and pieces you might need while you are there. What really makes it stand out, however, is the welcome of the host, Ottavio, who was in touch before, during and afterwards and could not have been more helpful.

Very comfortable and fitted out with care

Good location. Inner city sights within easy walk. Restaurants close by too. Hosts were most friendly and made sure we had a smooth arrival even after we had been delayed in traffic. Property has been carefully furnished and fitted out to make sure guests are comfortable. It was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Happy to recommend this property and our friendly hosts.

Welcoming apartment

Very good location . We could walk to city center in 15 minutes. The apartment was very clean and Ottavio was a great host . Welcomed us at 10 pm on a Saturday evening and it was not a problem. Also let us check out late with no extra charge.

Perfect location in Vienna

This place was fantastic for my stay in Vienna. Located right near Stephensplatz, this apartment had everything I needed. Furthermore, I was incredibly well looked after by the very attentive owners. The apartment was very clean and well taken care of. It was also spacious and would be great for a young family. I would highly recommend this apartment and will definitely hope to stay here again next time in the wonderful city of Vienna. You cannot go wrong with this place.

Excellent location

Great apartment. Just on the fringe of the tourists. A tram to most sites stops right in front of the apartment. Also, there's a Metro near by. There's a bagel shop next door, 2 grocery stores down the street, and several restaurants within walking distance. Octavio is a great host. He made a special visit to explain how the washing machine works. We couldn't read the labels as they are in German. We highly recommend this apartment.

Great Location - Superb Host

Highly recommended! Spacious and well kept property is in a convenient area 200m from metro station and restaurants. The host, Ottavio, met us at the metro station when we arrived, and provided a thorough orientation of the property. By coincidence, he was flying out of Vienna at the same time as we were. He went over and above what was expected by showing us a good way to the airport and getting us through comfortably.

Cozy welcoming city apartment perfectly situated for historic sights and fun Danube Canal nightlife.

Ottavio (Gabrielle's husband) is responsive host/manager, shared helpful info and made arrival etc very smooth. Apartment is as described, convenient to sights, groceries, public transport (tram, ringstrasse, Ubahn), easy walking distance to center of Vienna, museums, restaurants and more. It's on a busy street but excellent windows keep noise very low. Kitchen is very well supplied. Enjoyed meeting Ottavio's mother at check-in. We were lucky to find this place and hope others enjoy it in future.

Perfect host and great place to stay

Ottavio was a wonderful host for our short stay. He provided specific directions for our arrival and offered suggestions on Vienna. Since he was out of town the day we arrived, his mom greeted us at the apartment and showed us around making sure everything was as expected. Ottavio even met with us on our last day and walked with us to the subway station just for an opportunity to visit with us. The apartment was clean and perfect for my wife & I. It is in a great location - tram stop just up the block and minutes away from the center of Vienna tourist activities. Much better than any hotel in the area.

great location, close to everything, friendly owners

We had a wonderful time at this apt. in Vienna. We were here for three nights. It was a great location, just over the river and close to a subway stop. Tons of restaurants, etc nearby. Ottavio the owner was very helpful and friendly. He was out of town but had his Mom meet us at the apt to check us in. Even though she didn't speak a lick of English she was a delight and he called to translate when she was there. Little hot at night but we were here in the middle of July. Would stay there again for sure.

Excellent accommodation in a perfect location

The apartment was roomy, comfortable, well equipped and warm (essential for the cold Feb/March of our visit). The location was as good as it gets: Vienna's public transport is efficient and cheap, but we hardly used it because all key tourist sites are within walking distance, and shops, restaurants and supermarkets are on the doorstep. But a key feature that made our stay in Vienna so enjoyable, was the warmth and hospitality of our host, Ottavio. He was very quick in responding to emails and texts, and generous with his time,. We enjoyed our conversations with him. If we go back to Vienna, we wouldn't look for any other accommodation.

Well appointed, quiet, comfortable, and a great location to explore Vienna

The flat is very comfortable and includes all the amenities one would need for a stay in Vienna. It is also an easy walk to the center of town and public transportation that easily gets you anywhere you might want to go. I walked to every attraction I wanted to visit except for Schönbrunn Palace and the train was an easy walk. There are two grocery stores at the end of the street to stock the fridge. The kitchen had everything I needed and the bed was quiet and comfortable. Ottavio & Gabriella (I mostly interacted with Ottavio) were wonderful hosts - providing very clear directions to get me started and generally they were quite welcoming and attentive.

Wonderful accommodation!

Fantastic location, easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go. The best condo I've ever rented through VRBO. Spotlessly clean, super comfortable and very nicely laid out. Everything we could have wanted was available at our fingertips. Great shower and thoughtful items such as shampoo, garbage bags, dish soap and washing powder provided. Ottavio is such a kind and thoughtful person. He took extra time to explain everything to us and answered all our questions. His Mum is super lovely too and we had such fun talking with her. I would most certainly recommend this condo to anyone visiting Vienna!

Well done

Very clean and comfortable for two people. Dog park across the street sometimes noisy late. Good location for a less than 10 minute walk to all. Grocery store a 3 minute walk. To make an American very happy would be a small cheap American auto coffee pot and a small micro wave. Ottavio only seen at end of visit but was very accommodating and available via cell phone and email.

Demanding Host.

This host cancelled our booking the day we landed in Vienna. She was beyond rude and is not subject of a VRBO investigation. Our flights were delayed and even though we gave her 24 hours notice that our check in time had changed, she subjected us to numerous nasty messages: for example: “ You might not care about the fact that private persons have also a working life” was her comment. Does not have contactless checkin therefore it is a great inconvenience for this host to meet you in person and is she is not available, she will make you meet with her 80 year old mother: “ My mother will be waiting for you and will call me inmediately as she doesn't speak English very well. I will explain you the things via phone, such as Internet, for example” Terrible.

In the Center of Town without all the Noise

This amazing little sanctuary delivered on its promise of convenience. Everything we wanted was a five-minute walk. This included going to the neighborhood grocery store to stock up on wine and cheese or venturing downtown. On foot St. Stephen’s Cathedral was a 5 to 10 minute away (depending on the kids energy), but when we headed to farther flung sites like Schönbrunne Palace or swim in the Danube to escape the heat, public transportation was at our doorstep. Usually the trade off for such convenience is noise. Not here! Even with the windows wide open the din of downtown never disturbed our sleep. Yes, It is a safe and convient little sanctuary, a place I would stay again. But honestly, the host won us over. His knowledge of Europe and thoughtful communication before, during and after our stay is why I would return again. Outstanding!

Wonderful, immaculate flat in a great location

I have no idea why someone would stay in a hotel when they could stay in an entire apartment as lovely as this one. First of all, its much nicer than in the pictures. It has a comfortable living room with a balcony. It would have been nice to have some seating on the balcony as we had great weather. The kitchen is small but is well stocked with big windows. We had coffee in the mornings on the table with the airy windows open , just lovely. There's also a washing machine which we loved having, and dishwasher .The bedroom also had big windows and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were very clean with lots of hot water. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay pleasant, including toiletries in the bathroom and all the basics in the kitchen. The apartment is right near the bridge that takes you into the center of town, and was a short walk to everywhere we wanted to go. And if you think it cant get any better, Ottavio, the owner, is the nicest person we have ever dealt with on vrbo. He gave us detailed directions about getting to the apartment, and had many great suggestions and recommendations. He was the best "concierge" we could have asked for!. I can't recommend this rental highly enough, and we would absolutely stay there again if we come to Vienna. Thank you, Octavio and Gabriella for sharing your special home with us, and your mom too, for meeting us when we arrived and helping us settle in. We loved it!

Accueil au top

Ottavio a été notre contact et nous a accueilli avec gentillesse. On accède au logement par le Bus VAL2 de l’aéroport.Le logement est près du centre historique.On peut prendre sur internet avant de partir une carte hebdomadaire sur Wien mobile pour moins de fatigue pour 17,50€ les 7 jours et les billets aller-retour pour l’aéroport. La carte permet de s’éloigner pour faire une promenade dans les vignes. Il y a le tramway 2 en bas de l’immeuble qui nous conduit sur le Ring. Le bruit ne nous a pas gêné la nuit grâce au triple vitrage La ville est belle propre et nous nous sommes sentis en sécurité. Le logement est parfait pour 2 ou 3. Il y a le nécessaire pour l’entretien et des produits de toilette. Il y a de nombreux petits supermarchés à proximité et dans le centre-ville pour faire un repas dans l’appartement. Un grand merci à Ottavio pour son accueil attentionné.

Lebendiges Wien

Wohnung sehr praktisch und gut ausgestattet (ohne TV oder Radio), direkt an Strassenbahnhaltestelle und 100 m von U-Bahn Schwedenplatz entfernt. 1. Bezirk gut zu erlaufen, Umgebung im 2. Bezirk - Josefsstadt - interessant. Wir haben gerne auf dem Balkon gesessen und dem Treiben der Großstadt zugeschaut. Vermieter sehr freundlich und kommunikativ. Für Urlauber, die mit dem Auto anreisen, allerdings problematisch: in ganz Wien dürfen Touristen Ihr Auto nur noch in Garagen abstellen. Die Garage gegenüber der Wohnung war sehr teuer (über 30 € pro Tag), sodass man das Auto wieder aus der Stadt heraus an eine P+R Station fahren muss (dann nur ca 5 € am Tag), um dann wieder mit der Bahn in die Stadt zu fahren. Bei Ankunft und Abfahrt verliert man so ca. 1 Stunde und hat das Auto dann auch während des Aufenthalts für Ausflüge in die Umgebung nicht zur Verfügung.

Très agréable appartement

Appartement trés agréable idéalement situé pour visiter Vienne. Le propriétaire est toujours prêt à apporter aide et conseil dans un francais parfait! Bon souvenir de notre séjour
