Waterfront house with wide, covered deck to enjoy the stunning main-lake views. Large back yard, sloping to the private, secluded pebble beach--where there is a day dock perfect for swimming off of. Beautiful, fully renovated three-bedroom home with a great open living room and kitchen that--when the wide patio doors are open--flows right onto the stunning deck. Primary bedroom has a king bed and en suite bathroom with walk-in shower and walk-in closet. Guest room has a queen bed and is across from hallway bathroom with tub/shower combo. The Twin room has two twin beds and adjoining half bath. High speed internet and smart TVs. Perfect for a family getaway and just minutes away from great restaurants, grocery stores, and night life. There is a small day dock on the property, perfect for swimming and fishing. This property is at the base of a private cove. Small- to medium-sized boats can access the dock for pick up and drop off. There are no boat cleats. Be aware: the slope from the house down to the dock is quite steep.

Vacay at the lake

We had an amazing stay! The location is perfect — peaceful, scenic, and so close to the lake. Having such easy access to the water made our trip so relaxing. The amenities were top-notch as well — everything we needed was right there, from comfortable accommodations to great outdoor spaces. Great Memorial Day Weekend! The house is as advertised and very clean. The deck and swim dock are fantastic. We had a couple slight issues with the house that any homeowner deals with at the beginning of the summer and Meg, the owner, went out of her way to fix things and make sure that our stay was excellent and it was. Will stay here again soon and would highly recommend.

Perfect Escape!

Very well done and decorated with fabulous taste! The deck is the perfect spot for morning coffee and the dock and cove kept us cool in the summer heat. Highly recommend for a family getaway!

Long weekend at Grand

Awesome property

This property was exactly what we were looking for. Everything was updated and the owner literally thought of everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The deck was gorgeous, the house was spotless and everything was updated! Anyone staying here will be pleased for sure! Great place for weekend getaway!

The property was very cute and clean. The queen and king sized beds were very comfortable. The check-in and check-out process was very easy, with check-out instructions printed out by the door. The neighborhood was quiet and the dock was perfect for swimming and hanging out. I would recommend bringing some floats to use or we purchased some from the dollar general which was only a 5 minute drive away to use for our stay. The porch is huge, has a great view, and perfect for hanging out.

Great House

House was exactly as listing says. It accommodated our extended family well! It had everything we needed in the kitchen and plenty of bathroom items for the week. Close enough to a few stores and restaurants but still a quiet area. Many reviews talked about the steep backyard down to the day dock. It is a steep walk but other than that, the house was perfect!

Just as described

We had a great time staying at the house. The house is just as described and is complete with everything you need. The weather was perfect when we were there so we got to totally enjoy the deck. And yes, the view to the lake in between the the trees does exist and is not photo shopped. Communication with the owner was very easy with quick responses. Would definitely suggest.

Lovely Lake Getaway

Had great time with our family of 5 and 2 dogs. Property was clean and as described. Rented boats and jet skis from local marina for some of the days. Swimming off the dock was fun too (especially for the dogs). It is a steep walk down but that was expected. Deck was huge and favorite place to end and begin the days. Only suggestion would be to eliminated the glade plug ins. They were overpowering and even after unplugging them made for a strong scent on everything which was not ideal for someone sensitive to smells. I would definitely return and recommend to anyone.

Nice home

The home was nice and the owner was very easy to work with and instructions were thorough. The only issue was there were no cleats on the dock to hold our jet skis or boat. The description said you can tie up for 48 or 72 hours and it’s impossible with nothing to tie up too. Also, the house could use a deep clean. There were cobwebs and cabinets and doors needed a good wipe down, but the showers and kitchen dishes were clean. The main things we were using were clean but a deep clean would make it even nicer.

Steep

Enjoyed the house and deck but was way to steep for my 3 year old and wouldn’t be good for someone with health problems to go up and down to dock. A lot of trash was in the water around dock from the water being up so no swimming for us. I also stepped on a cottonmouth by the garage the 2nd morning and also a lot and a lot of poison ivy around house.

Thanks for your feedback. Given the secluded and private nature of our property—which is at the base of a quiet cove and next to wooded land—there is a lot of wildlife. Also, we personally clean what we can from the cove regularly, but on super busy days at the lake, debris is bound to wash up in any cove. While we can’t change the slope of our backyard, we did put in stairs to help people reach our dock.

After Labor Day Lake respite

The house and deck are quite lovely. A great place to read, chat, eat a meal and watch the day. We made full use of the dock, kayaking and swimming. The slope down to the lake is quite steep so we got our exercise in as well.

We had a great stay in this house. Loved the spacious back deck and the view of the lake. My son loved the dock for both fishing and swimming. Had a minor issue but communication with the owner was great. Would come back again.
