Gemütliche Hütte mit privatem Bootsanleger am wunderschönen Howard Lake

Die Hütte wurde 2003 gebaut und verfügt über 2 Schlafzimmer sowie ein Loft. Jedes Zimmer hat ein Queensize-Bett und es gibt zwei Queensize-Betten auf dem Dachboden. Der Hauptwohnbereich verfügt über ein Doppelschlafsofa. Es gibt ein Badezimmer mit Dusche auf der Hauptebene und ein Badezimmer mit Badewanne auf dem Dachboden. Die Waschküche befindet sich neben der Küche.

Howard Lake ist ein wunderschöner, ruhiger See mit einer Wasserklarsicht von mehr als 12 Fuß und einer maximalen Tiefe von 60 Fuß. Auf dem Grundstück befindet sich ein privater Bootsanleger, den die Gäste nutzen können.

Die Hütte liegt 10 Minuten von Walker und weniger als 30 Minuten von Park Rapids entfernt. Es gibt viele Seen in der Umgebung, die Sie genießen können. Es gibt einen engen Zugang zum Paul Bunyan Trailhead zum Radfahren, Schneemobilfahren, Wandern, Langlaufen usw. Es gibt einen Keller, der von außen zugänglich ist und in dem die Gäste Spielzeug und / oder Ausrüstung aufbewahren können.

Perfect spot!! We especially appreciated the extras like art supplies, firewood, games, water toys , towels and tupperware! The hosts responded immediately to our questions and they even arranged Perfect weather for us! 10 out of 10!

Amazing and Cozy

This place is perfect for a family. We have 4 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone. I really loved how well organized and thought out every thing was in this house. Very well planned! They have soooo many card games, board games and puzzles. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat. Private boat launch was very nice and easy to get our boat in and out. We got to watch the loon family with its babies every day. So many things great about this place and something for everyone.

Wonderful stay!

The cabin and all it has to offer is wonderful. The beach, dock accessibility, and swimming area are hard to beat. We have stayed at different VRBO’s the last 4 summers and my family stated this one was the favorite so far!! The only very minor inconvenience was finding out 3 days beforehand that we needed to supply all of our own paper products including toilet paper. That would have been nice to know a little sooner as it required an extra trip to town that I hadn’t planned on and we live 12 miles from the nearest one! Overall though, that was very minor compared to everything this cabin had to offer!! You won’t be disappointed!

What a sweet week at the lake!

From our 2 year old grand-daughter, to her parents and 72 year old grand-parents, we all enjoyed this cabin on sweet Howard lake. The accommodations were clean and comfortable and the lake was gorgeous. The available yard games and water toys in the basement, were also a pleasant surprise! Thanks for all you do to provide an enjoyable vacation spot. We had a wonderful time.

50th Anniversary Celebration

We rented this property to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary. It was a wonderful experience! The cabin was extremely clean and well stocked with games and kitchen supplies. The lake was beautiful and there was plenty to do for the kids. It was located 10 minutes from Walker and not far from shops, gas stations and restaurants. It was a wonderful week and highly recommended for a family getaway.

Fun family get away spot

Nice cabin. Well stocked with kitchen items, linens. Boat access on site made it eaay. Nice beach area maintained and portion cleared of weeds around the docks so great for swimming. Nice lake. Not too crowded so made for good skiing, tubing.

Northern MN lake

Beautiful spot on Lake Howard with great views and multiple seating areas. Location was convenient between Walker and Park Rapids and near the Chippewa forest for walking. The home had everything we needed and was peaceful.

We loved the cabin- it was so cozy and well equipped! The lake was very quiet and peaceful during our week there. The grandkids had a great time fishing off the dock and we enjoyed morning paddles in the paddleboat and kayaks. It was a wonderful family vacation spot!

A+ Property with Everything You Need

We had a great week at Kallie and Dan’s property again. The cabin was so clean and full of everything we needed to make ourselves comfortable. The fishing was a bit to be desired but still provided two hard earned fish fries! The paddle boat and kayaks and bags game were used several times. The addition of the deck table since our last time here was a great addition. Coffee on the deck every morning and snacks when we came off the water. oh and a great place to see some amazing color on the water too. Communication with the owners was superb at all times. We didn’t need them during the stay but know that if we had it would have been quickly responded to. Thank you Kallie and Dan for a great week at a great property!

Howard Lake fun!

We had a wonderful stay at the lovely property on Howard Lake. Dan and Kallie were great hosts. The property was very clean and comfortable. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed. The loft is awesome, our grandkids loved it. We spent our days swimming, fishing, kayaking, boating and we ended our days sitting around the campfire. Very clean well kept and well equipped. Good internet and mostly connected cell service. Beautiful lake and access to it on property. Occasional power outages that were fixed quickly. Very convenient to both Walker and Akeley.

Serene Cabin

This cabin was amazing! It had plenty of room for each family member to have their own space. It was spacious, clean and beautiful. The homeowners really thought of everything! We enjoyed kayaking, swimming and taking the pedal boat out. The lake was pretty calm and we got to see a lot of wildlife. The property had everything you could think of, plus more. This property worked well for older members in our family (bedrooms, living space and bathrooms on main floor). We enjoyed shopping in Walker. We would stay in this cabin again for sure!

We mostly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The lake was wonderful, the cabin was clean and the boat launch very convenient. However, there were a few things that prevented me from giving this top rating. The tap water in the cabin smelled really bad. We bought bottled water to drink. Washing dishes and showering left you wondering if you were clean or not. It seemed to be a known issues given the large jug of vinegar in the laundry room. The loft was not very useable. I’m not sure how you could get a suitcase up the steep ladder. The cabin and deck were 15 feet or so off the gravel road. Lots of noise and dust, especially while trying to grill. I was disappointed there was no options recycling other than trash or hauling it myself to Walker.

Wonderful Stay!!!

Our Family had a wonderful time at Minnow Heights. Check-in was a breeze. The entire property is gorgeous and it was really nice to have a level yard. The Views are incredible anytime of day especially in the loft. House was stocked with everything we needed and the beds were comfy. If you like a homey feeling this is definitely a great place for that. Will be coming back for another stay hopefully next summer with our family again. Anyone who books this won't be disappointed I can promise you that!!!

Absolutely Enjoyable

The weekend was all we had hoped for! Our grandson enjoyed running in the grass and seeing all the boats and paddle boarders going by. We thoroughly enjoyed the paddle boat and kayaks. The home was very clean and we liked the floor plan. What a view of the lake from the Loft.!! I saw the loons right in front of the cabin early one morning skimming across the surface of the water. We even had a fire one evening. We checked out Walker and its shops too. The was beach is great for swimming and floating. Nice get-a-way!

Wonderful Stay - Highly Recommend

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was perfect for fishing and activities on the lake. The lake does not have high traffic which makes it relaxing and perfect for the getaway we wanted. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with all the items we would need.

Something for everyone

We had a wonderful vacation at Minnow Heights. Howard lake is clean, clear, and provided good fishing and swimming for the kids right off the dock. Our early June stay included record 90°+ temps, so we appreciated having central air! The views are incredible, the wifi is strong, the beds are comfortable, the house is clean, and having four queen-size beds was so nice. We enjoyed spectacular sunsets, the kayaks and paddle boat, the private boat launch, puzzles and games, and the kids had a blast playing Mario Kart and watching Disney Plus. Lakeside dining on the deck was amazing. A quick trip into Walker included a stop at Portage Brewing Co. and several boutique shops. With so many modern conveniences along with the outdoor activities, Minnow Heights has something for everyone!
