A Wonderful Respite!

Townhome is very much as described and pictured. It has beautiful views and is clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. Fred's and the town are only a walk away. Banner Elk is easily accessible as well from this location. We loved our stay, just what we needed!

Perfect Top of the Mountain Retreat

Rented the property to enjoy Beech Mountain and it did not disappoint. Perfect location with amazing views from the property and of Beech Mountain as you head out of the neighborhood. House was clean, cozy, and warm. Spacious and well equipped for home cooking or a take out. Highly recommend.

Great Labor Day Weekend in the Mountains

This awesome town home on Beech Mountain made for a perfect Labor Day weekend. The views were spectacular and the accommodations were excellent. The town home was just right for our group of six. A great location too - so close to so many attractions in and around Beech Mountain and Banner Elk. Carol, the owner, stayed in touch with us every step along the way, which made the experience worry free. 5 stars from us on this one!

Last minute getaway in the beautiful beech mountains

I always use vacation rentals while traveling and I travel at least every 2 months. This was the cleanest rental I have used to date. From the moment I walked in I thought it looked even better than the photos. The view from almost every area of the home was spectacular due its location, gorgeous large windows and doors. I will definitely rent here again.

Beech mountain ski vacation

This property is really nice. My wife and I brought our 4 children here to ski and snowboard at beech for the first time. We loved it. Very clean, and nicely decorated. The location is perfect, about 2 miles from beech and much less to area restaurants and Fred’s. I’ve been to beech many times, but I think this condo was probably the best I’ve stayed at. Very comfortable furniture and beds. Everything you need is in the kitchen. Felt like being at home, highly recommend, and will stay again!

Extraordinary Stay

First, let me say that the photos of this property, unlike so many I have seen previously, actually do this townhome justice. It is exceptionally clean and well appointed with comfy furniture and as advertised, the fireplace in the living room can heat the entire property very quickly. The view is spectacular, and the location is close enough to enjoy everything we wanted to do: hikes, skiing, tubing, and some very good restaurants. I cannot say enough about this property...you will not be disappointed!!!!! I know that my family of 5 will be back to try out Beech Mountain in the summer!

A Blessing Indeed!!!

Beech Mountain Blessing is the perfect name for this place. Peaceful and romantic…The comfort of this place is amazing! Spotless and still smells new.. Short, enjoyable stroll into town. The location can’t be beat. The views are breathtaking! Panoramic views overlooking several towns below and grandfather mountain in the distance. It’s hard to believe that the temperature never seems to exceed 74° during the day and 50 to 60s at night in August! We have stayed on Beech Mountain many times and I will never stay anywhere else.

Perfect Vacation!!!

This property is simply incredible! Immaculately clean with everything you could possibly need to make things feel like your home away from home. We cooked nearly every day and loved that all the items you might need were right there in the kitchen. All items are well maintained and functional. Plenty of space to share with everyone so you never feel crowded. Lots of specialty details that really personalized things for our group. The owner is very friendly and accommodating and helped with any questions asked. We will gladly stay at this wonderful property again in the future.

We were unable to stay at this property due to the property not being ready for our stay

Due to an unfortunate accident with the cleaning crew, the property had not been properly cleaned & made ready for new guest. The property was beautiful & I am sure that the views were stunning. Our anniversary/vacation was shortened due to a last minute scramble to find somewhere else to stay.

Thank you for your bad review! The property had not been cleaned at all!!! How could it be cleaned while she was in a terrible car accident that totaled her car and killed her dog and she was in the hospital for 1 1/2 days. We are so sorry to inconvenience you… sometimes life happens. Not the norm... This property is a five star stay!!

Beautiful view of Grandfather Mountain

Place was nice. Location was okay. View of Grandfather Mountain was beautiful. Food on the Mountain near the townhouse wasn't worth the price. We weren't aware there wasn't air conditioning, but thankfully it wasn't hot. The neighbors above us were super noisy from the hours of 11 pm to 3 am which was hard for us with small kids trying to sleep. We could hear every foot step.

Samara, I am so sorry you did not have a good time on Beech Mountain. I am unable to refund you. Most of the houses in Beach Mountain do not have AC. This townhouse gets a fantastic breeze of 72° during the day and 50° at night. I rarely hear noises from the woman who lives above above me. So I’m not sure about that. And so far as the food. It is so inexpensive compared to other parts of the country and the food is fantastic.!

Beautiful views, very clean

The reviews of this house are accurate! The house has a gorgeous view from atop Beech Mountain. The unit is extremely clean. Beds are comfortable. It is very conveniently located to Beech Mountain activities/shops/eateries and to the town of Banner Elk (more shops/eateries). We were there for winter activities and enjoyed the sledding hill that is so close to the condo! We stayed with our young children (8 & 2) and our parents (in their 50s/60s) and we all had an amazing time. We absolutely loved the condo and its accessories. The fireplaces make it so cozy and you will want for nothing, as everything you need is at the condo. My kids loved taking a bath in the beautiful ‘claw foot’ tub. The king bed sleeps like a dream and there are plenty of extra pillows and blankets if you need them. This place is so clean and still smells like new. So refreshing.

Beech Mountain BEST!

The view, the location, the interior, and the charm of this place are all 5 star. Do not miss this! We had never been to Beech/Banner Elk area before, and were dazzled by our home base in this winter wonderland. It is located just 5 minutes (about 2 miles) from Beech Mountain Ski resort, and even closer to the little downtown area of Beech Mountain where there are restaurants, shops, and the town's sledding hill.  THE VIEW: Words or photos cannot do it justice. You've got to see it. The entire condo with balconies and huge windows faces breathtaking Grandfather Mountain and Sugar Ski resort and the valley underneath. THE INTERIOR: on par with an excellent resort. Spacious and cozy at the same time. Fireplace and floor plan is great. The kitchen was set up well for us to cook a lot. Plenty of room in the condo for our family of four. The owner is easy to connect with and helpful if you need anything. The BEST thing I could say about this BEECH Mountain condo is that we will definitely be back.

Perfect!

We had an exhilarating experience while we were walking into town with our glass of wine. We saw a bear and her cubs! She didn’t see us but we definitely saw her. I was astounded at all of the deer too. The townhouse is perfect location. Quiet and peaceful. A short walk to town. As we got closer you could hear the outdoor band playing at Brick Oven Pizza. Beech Mtn. is so quaint and friendly. The townhouse was incredible. Caryl thought of everything!! We had friends over for a beautiful dinner and my wife was so happy that all the dishes matched and serving bowls and platters looked great together. She was able to put on a great dinner together out on the deck overlooking the sun setting over the mountains is just unbelievably beautiful. We will be back!

This is my second time staying at BeechMountainBlessing. I am so surprised that it still smells so new!! The townhouse was spotless again this vacation. It’s just as I remember unbelievably the ultimate most spectacular views!!! We had the entire townhouse to ourselves AGAIN…We never see anyone. I guess the other people do not rent their townhouses and apparently they do not live there either… So very quiet and private and just a short walk to town. Awesome!

I have been in the hospitality industry in Florida for 30 years. I live in Melbourne Beach, Florida and I have ocean front property too. At all of my properties I focus on comfort and cleanliness. I like to keep things, new and fresh ! I have been vacationing in Beech Mountain since 2008 and decided to buy a second home to enjoy ski season and the cool summer time temperatures.. This is not just a rental, it is my home... I love sharing it with people to enjoy the highest mountain town on the East Coast.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

I fell in love with this townhouse years ago when it was being rebuilt. The views and the breezes are incredible.... I love waking up to Grandfather Mountain! There’s nothing like being on the top! It is a safe and beautiful town where the stress leaves you the minute you drive up the mountain road..

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

Southern exposure!, Grand views ! panoramic views of mountains from the east and west. Being on the top allows you to have views in all directions. In the summertime the temperatures are the best at this townhouse. There are many properties to rent below that are not nearly as cool in temperature as this property is in the summer. I love watching the weather changes over the top of the mountain and in the valley below are the most dramatic scenes at all!! Quiet area with deer sitings everyday and occasionally you will see bear, fox, hedge hogs etc. that makes this location spectacular.
