Summer stay

We had an excellent time! No long lines at the elevator, no long walks to the pool or beach! The pool wasn't busy any time we went. We enjoyed having the complimentary beach chairs and umbrella! In the condo was nice and neat! Beds were super soft! Only thing that could have been different are maybe curtains in the beds rooms closest to the hall way out side to hide the night lights out there. Other than that everything was great! We will definitely be coming back next time we plan to come to Fort Walton!

A Great Experience

This is a great place to stay in Fort Walton Beach. You are only a few steps from the beach! We enjoyed eating at Lost Pizza, The Bavarian (go when there is a polka band), and The Rive Cafe. Everything is about a 5-10 minute drive.

Great Friend-cation!

Great condo on a great beach. Had a maintenance problem and they were at our door in 20 minutes and fixed. Very comfortable! Highly recommend!

Emerald Coast Poker Run Week

The condo has a spectacular view of the gulf. The place was very clean and user friendly! The owners/managers thought of everything including any amenity you will need (iron, blow dryer, Keurig, folding luggage rack, etc.). We enjoyed our stay very much.

We were blown away by the condo! Right when you walk in, the first thing you saw was the gulf. Everything was clean and we felt right at home. Perfect size for a family of 5 for the week! Great location and close to so many fun places to visit!! Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay!

This unit was spotless and very accommodating! The small pool area was perfect for our almost one year old. No fighting crowds! Everyone we met was very sweet. Beach access is right down the elevator and the chairs and umbrella waiting on you was perfect! We will definitely come stay again!

Relaxing Beach Vacation

For a last minute getaway, we couldn't have chosen a better place. The condo was well maintained and clean. The area was easy to get around and the rental service provided recommendations on where to eat and go. The best thing was the beach! It was not crowded and the ease of going from the condo to the beach was a real plus. We would definitely book this location again!

We will be back!

Our group of 8 (2 families of 4) had plenty of room and an amazing Oceanview in this perfectly size condo. The couple who owns this unit is so sweet and friendly. They also own a delicious little donut shop with super cute creative donuts. We will absolutely be staying in one of their many properties again soon

Loved it

This unit was great especially for the price Of a 3 bedroom compared to Sandestin etc. The location was a welcome change...easy to get to & from everything without fighting Destin traffic. Major plus. AND the beaches are less crowded b/c the buildings can’t be high rise b/c the base restrictions. Nice will book again for sure! My communication was 100% perfect couldn’t ask 4 better!

We loved this condo!

We loved our stay in this condo. This was a girls trip with my mom, daughter and sister and myself. My mom has knee troubles and this condo was perfect for her. There were no stairs at all. The walk to the beach was very short and easy to get to. The condo is decorated so nice and was the perfect size for the 4 of us. I would not hesitate staying here again. We all loved it!

7 towels for 7 people for 7 nights. I would've expected an extra set of towels. Especially since the dryer doesn't work very well, we had to dry everything twice because things still come out damp the first time. The cutlery is terrible, obviously very old and not sharp. Trying to cut up an apple was near impossible. Need a flat cookie sheet type pan, had to attempt to toast things in the oven with a glass pan. Front door looks very yucky. Bathroom toilet in hallway runs constantly. Found someone else's used wadded up clothes in the bunk room nightstand. Vacuum doesn't suck anything up, rollers are completely matted and stuck.

Fall break vacation

Very nice beachfront unit in small (24 unit) complex. Pool is very small and be advised third bedroom with bunks is extremely small. We never had to contact hosts because we had no issues; however, we received periodic texts checking in with us. We have stayed in many different Okaloosa Island condo complexes over the years and this is amongst the best.

Awesome place

We had a great experience at this condo! It comfortably fit me and my husband, our 2 kids- 5 and 1, and my mother, father and brother in law. This unit has an Amazing view and low-key, quiet beach with easy access. We loved having the free chairs and umbrella available to us when we went down to the beach for the day. The location is pretty good, there are a couple restaurants within 5 minutes away but not tons of options which is fine. The strip is a little run down and nothing fancy but I’m low maintenance so it didn’t bother me. My only complaint about this specific unit was the master bedroom with the king bed, it seemed to have a smaller box spring underneath that didn’t fit the king size and it made concerning noises whenever we laid down (me and my husband are both thin people) but overall it was comfortable. Yes, I would definitely recommend this place if you are wanting a laid back, peaceful trip.

Very happy with the condo! Exactly as advertised. It’s smaller on the whole scale of the building which is nice that it’s not so people-e on the beach. It has a very short boardwalk to the sand which is always a plus! & it’s right across the street from a small market which is super handy! No issues just had a great time!

Great Vacation!

We had a wonderful time! Condo was exactly as described in the VRBO description. Beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony! Condo was nice and clean, Beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped and did I mention the view! Property manager was available and responsive and provided for a hassle free rental experience! We highly recommend this unit for future rental!

Worst rental experience of my lifetime

We enjoyed our stay very much. However our exit was a nightmare. We are traveling from Arizona back to our home in Tampa and the adults in my group had not adjusted our watches for the extra hour. Although we were supposed to leave at 10 we were targeting an actual leave time of 11. When the cleaning crew arrived at 10am, we informed them them that we were behind schedule and would be out in 30 minutes. Instead of them leaving and coming back after 30 minutes, they stood outside the door and made desparaging comments every time I took something to the car. Then both a man and a woman took it upon themselves to enter the place without being invited in and the man walked into the master bedroom where my wife was getting dressed. As she screamed “get out” I told the man to leave the condo and not to come back in until my family was out! He then threatened to call the sheriff on me for threatening him with disregard for the fact that he was in a place where my wife was not dressed. If the protocol for VRBO rentals is for cleaning people to enter places uninvited, I will never stay in one again. I also recorded this entire incident as it is just another example of an escalating situation where white people threaten to call the police on black people who are just trying to live their lives the best way they can. We were late in leaving but that did not give anyone the right to invade my family’s privacy. This was a horrible ending to an otherwise pleasant cross country trip.
