Another great 2 weeks on Jekyll. The only thing is the cottage seemed to not have as much in kitchen items and cups as it did last year so if they could update that it would be perfect! Otherwise a perfect vacation!

Jekyll Island Get-away

Spacious, clean, well equiped kitchen and great location with ocean view. Couch, chairs snd one bed needs to be replaced soon but, overall, this unit gets a 4 star rating.

Extended Weekend Getaway

The vacation unit was in a great location, clean and comfortable for our three day weekend stay. I did not give it a 5 rating due to the newd for updating one bed and the uncomfortable couch. The other furiture was in acceptable condition (other bed and serveral living room chairs).

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second year staying at this rental for our anniversary. We thought we had found our yearly spot! But the first morning I found a roach in the kitchen. As soon as the reality office was open I contacted them and notified them. They were quick to respond and had someone out that afternoon. Then two days later I saw another one in the kitchen. We brought food with us to do some cooking, to offset the costs. But after the first roach, I lost all desire to do any cooking and I was constantly scanning the room for them. It wasn't until we got home that my husband confessed he disposed of a couple in the bathroom. He didn't want to tell me for fear I would be ready to pack up and leave. He knows me to well! When I got home I researched the reviews on this rental and saw where someone else in August mentioned bugs too. I love the location of this rental but I can tell there have been no repairs from our first year stay to this , I can only expect it may continue to decline.

It’s a very well located place . It’s big and bright. It’s a little old so need a little love. Priority removing the carpet from the bedroom , it is discusting to walk on that ! Sad that we cannot sit outside because of the smell , rot soil maybe.

It has the same furniture that it had 15 years ago. It needs to be brought up to date. The coffee maker if a Mr. Coffee. No one uses that anymore. The majority of people use the Kurikg. The second bedroom had many aunts crawling on the floor. Other than that it was an excellent place.

Great Location

Lots of pros and and just a few cons to this rental.. First - it was immaculate and NO bugs as had been mentioned in an earlier post - The unit is open and airy- you can see the ocean from your living room window. Easy access from you car to the kitchen which makes carrying everything in easy. Bedrooms are large - did not use the second bedroom but the king bed was very comfortable. Good internet and TV. Only drawback is that the unit is well used and could use some TLC - paint, patio power washed - just general up keep - I would definitely stay here again.

Lots of updating and a thorough deep clean needed! This property is very outdated, with cracks in the paint and old appliances that do not work super well. Bugs were seen crawling in the kitchen. Dust and cobwebs noted to be on the blinds and in corners. Disappointed in the cleanliness for the amount we spent.

We loved it here. Stayed with our 4 kids and it was perfect. Right across the street from the beach. 2 minute walk to the beach access from our door. Very quiet. Didn't notice any road noice or people being loud at all. Definitely recommend.
