This cozy waterfront house is located on Cobb Island, Maryland, where the Wicomico River, Neale Sound, and Potomac River run through it. The island is a quiet and beautiful place with friendly neighbors for a enjoyable and relaxed vacation.

The house is renovated. There are three bedrooms and two full baths. A fully equipped kitchen and separate dining and living room. The house has central air conditioning and ceiling fans. Wi-Fi and cable TV with 130+ channels are provided. A large patio on the waterside allows guests to sit to enjoy the ever-changing sceneries of the river, bird watching, and the beautiful sights of sunrise, sunset and moon rise. Water activities can be done right from our pier. Fishing and crabbing can be done directly from the private pier with build-in benches. House is on well water and public sewer. Water is treated with UV light disinfecting system.

Biking, walking, kayaking, canoeing, fishing (bring your own equipment) and crabbing (two crab pots are provided). A community playground is few minutes’ walk away.
Swan Point Golf Course is 6 miles away and open to public.

Much nicer than the photos show. It was perfect for the 4 of us. Fishing and crabbing off of the dock was really fun, that’s where we spent most of our time. We couldn’t have asked for more. We will be back!

Great Place To Stay

We enjoyed the house and the location. Fishing was enjoyable and the house is close enough to commute to DC to see the sites and then return to peaceful Cobb Island. Host was great to work with as well.

We enjoyed the location and being on the water. We like small towns. If you like crabcakes, ScuttleButts has some excellent ones. A bit expensive but very good.

It was great! Docked right at the house. Only “complaint” would be the location of the TV, not really convenient for more than 2 people. Would be better in the main room.

Christmas Memories

Perfect for our family of 4. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stayed. We loved watching the sunrise every morning and enjoyed the beautiful view while preparing Christmas Eve dinner. The house was clean, the updates were beautiful and the views are amazing. We’d stay again. It’s very convenient to our family in Swan Point.

Amazing View & Fun

Wonderful view from the livingroom & the master bedroom. Clean house with hardwood floors. Great time for kids crabbing & a great place to fish -- one slot red, a few puppy drums, croakers, and even a couple of cownose rays that gave maybe the best fight I've had fishing! Michelle was very communicative & helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

A place to relax and enjoy the family time.

Sunrise from the private pier was priceless, not much view to the sunset though. Crabbing on the pier was so much fun. House is very clean! The hall bathroom needs a window curtain to block the view from neighbor. The master bath toilet seat is broken. We enjoy the weekend get away very much.

The view was spectacular! It suited our needs and we overall loved the place and enjoyed our stay very much. For the price we paid we weren’t happy with the cleanliness when we got there. None of the furniture was very comfortable in the main family room. There were no cushions on some of the chairs and the furniture needed some attention! The outside needed a lot of attention as well. Even just a lawn would’ve been nice. But I will say we enjoyed ourselves very much and would come back again!

Waterfront Cottage at Cobb Island

Property has been recently updated and has beautiful views from living area and master bedroom. It is well equipped but lacks comfortable seating to watch TV. The floor has multiple height changes that may not be suitable for elderly guests. Lighting from parking area to front door is inadequate and very dark. Needs couch, comfortable chairs and TV in main living area. With a few minor improvements, this property could be top notch

Hi Stephen, thank you for taking the time to give us a review. We are sorry that the furniture comfort level is not to your expectation. We have decided, due to the COVID pandemic, to furnish the house with things that can be wiped down or washed. Therefore, no couch. We also think there are lots of things to do on the island and at the pier that one TV should be enough. The light at the front yard near the parking area has been replaced to provide lightings. A Most Spectacular House !!!

Wow!!! This home will not disappoint. It is immaculate and well furnished beyond the norm. It was such a pleasure to have basic needs like paper towels, toilet paper, dish and hand soap, shampoos and more. We LOVED the deck and views any time of the day. There were so many crabs in our pots and fish varieties (we threw back in). This side of Cobb Island was so beautiful and calm, unlike other parts of the island. Michelle made everything so easy with her excellent communication and availability should we have had any issues- and we didn’t! We walked to the Market, Captain John’s (sometimes we drove) and didn’t leave the island much. It was too nice at the house. Thank you and we will be back next year if not sooner.

Waterfront Escape

We loved this property! Gorgeous sunrise views! The kitchen, dining and living areas are all open to encourage gathering. We played many games, fished off the dock, and enjoyed strolls around the island. Cobb Island is a lovely escape that we will return to regularly.

Great Views and sunrises, quiet seclusion on the water,

furniture VERY uncomfortable; the ONLY comfortable sitting was on the bed or stacking chairs on the deck. Small papason chairs had no padding, dinning chairs very uncomfortable, rattan "couch" and loveseat very little padding that didn't really fit.

Lovely getaway
