Bday trip
We stayed here for my daughter and her friend's 13th bday. The biggest issue I had prior to arrival was the lack of information related to the linens. It is not clear from the listing that linens are not provided. It was only when I noticed it in another review a couple of days prior to our visit that I asked the host and then I was told that linens were not provided. I rent pretty regularly on VRBO and have never experienced this. If linens are not provided it is always stated clearly. The host indicated that the listing does not say it is included. I am glad I noticed it. Just felt like the host was being intentionally shady. When we arrived we needed two parking passes. The host indicated that she had already just told them 1 because she had not heard from me. In her defense I do understand that I missed the request for me to notify her. I apologized and asked if she would please let them know. At first she seemed to not be willing and asked me to just let them know and see what happens. Just did not seem like she was willing to be helpful. Next, prior to arrival, the host did not ask for guest information. Once I arrived she wanted the names and birthdates of all the occupants, which is valid, but I was asked just as I was unloading and unpacking and she just kept texting about it.
The house is adorable, but you do need a golf cart. The house was mostly clean. Overall, I liked the home, but would not rent again due to my experience with the host.
