It's unfortunte you rated it only 4 stars merely based on the location. We aren't sure your concerns with the location as we are very clear in the listing where it's located, which is peaceful, North Ormond Beach. Most guests who come to North Ormond come to this part of the Daytona barrier island intentionally for the more peaceful atmosphere. It's still very close to dining and attractions, but in a much more peaceful, quiet environment.

Overall great stay

Our stay was overall really good. Perfect for our family of 4. The walkout to the beach that is pictured across from home is no longer there due to weather so you have to walk a lil.down the road to access beach, not a huge deal but should be noted for those who need closer access.

Perfect location and lay out!

Everything was great. We woke up and walked across the street to the beach everyday. We were within a 20 minute drive from everything. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot.

The condo was very clean and perfect location, just across the street from the beach. Very quiet !

We were very pleased with this condo, great location & very clean. Access to the condo is gated and has a covered parking for the unit. Our only complaint was the sheets did not stay on the bed, we tried both sets and both need to be replaced as there was no elastic to hold them, another suggestion would be a TV in the bedroom. Overall our stay was very enjoyable! We would definitely recommend this property! We will be back!

Thank you for taking the time to provide Oceans Luxury Realty with your honest feedback! I'm sorry to hear that our property did not meet your expectations. We do not include a dishwasher in the listing or photos. The furniture is exactly as shown in the listing photos and description and all other guests have enjoyed it, as shown in all of the other reviews. The beach access did close for repairs but what the guest didn't mention is that they were informed and provided extensive compensation. What the true issue was is that they didn't really take the time to see what this property was before booking which is a budget-friendly, quiet property. They were expecting a luxury condo which is just not what this property is and we are honest about that. It is a very well-priced, quality property.

Relaxing Place

The biggest complaint I have is the road noise (its right on top of A1A) and there was construction on the beach side and the road. Lots of road noise. The vacuum cleaner didn't work the greatest either. Other than that, had a good two month stay at this place. I had some family visit and they enjoyed it as well. There are surfboards on the wall as decoration, which could be a little hazardous for little ones or if run into them.

We can't help when the city plans road work nor are we notified of any planned work so we wish you wouldn't have let that affect your rating. Any property on A1A by the beach would have the potential for road construction noise at any point. Any property next to any road could potentially have road construction noise for that matter. All roads have to be worked on at some point.

Great Location!

This location was more residential than we normally stay for our beach trips. We typically end up in high rise condos. This condo was perfect. The location is great. It was very quiet, and the beach was right across the road. We walked to the beach daily. I've never seen so many turtle nests! The pool was clean, and the water was warm. It was never overcrowded. The condo came with its own covered parking right outside the entrance to the condo, which was great. We traveled with 3 kids, ages 5, 9, and 12, and there was plenty of space for everyone! The best part of the condo is again the location. The beach is private and never crowded. You're in a perfect spot to head down to Daytona or up to St. Augustine, or any of the amazing places in between. Also, there's a great ice cream shop up the road. Definitely recommend visiting Surfin' Scoops. Lastly, the rental management company was great to work with. We had some minor issues and they were quick to resolve them. We would definitely stay at this location again, or use the same company in the future!

Really nice place to stay in Ormond By the Sea, FL

We stayed for a week in July, 2023. The check in process was easy/seemless. We found the place very easily - and the directions as part of the check in process is helpful. The location is really nice. The neighborhood is nice and quite and the people are friendly. The beach is a walk across A1A. A negative was that there was no beach access directly across from the unit so we had to walk a quarter mile north or south to access the beach. Even though the hurricane damage was a year old, it was noticeable but the beaches were still nice. The unit itself is very nice, clean, nicely decorated and efficient. You can easily see the ocean from the large window in the main area and the deck. The kitchen was well equipped as was the bathroom but there was no hair dryer. We used the futon beds and they were nice and comfortable. While the unit is not particularly large, it was set up very efficiently set up. Check out was extremely easy, A1A was busier than we expected. The location was otherwise very quiet. We walked the mile south to get ice cream. Just north is the nice, quiet town of Flagler which we really enjoyed. South is Ormond Beach and Daytona which both have a lot to see and do. We enjoyed the many parks near the unit and walked west to the Halifax river which was very nice. We enjoyed our stay, and would stay again.

Pleasant getaway with the kids

We all enjoyed our stay. The view of the ocean from the front window and balcony was fabulous. The beach and pool were uncrowded. The residents living around the rental were very friendly. It was a little colder than expected but very enjoyable sitting outside reading a book. My only complaint was the check in process. We were told to drive 30 minutes south of the rental to pick up keys. This was in our reservation directions and communicated over the phone. We were given a code to open up an after hours box and the keys were not there. The rental company clarified that the unit had a door key pad and the keys were in the unit. That was stressful after a long drive but corrected right away. We would definitely stay again if visiting the Ormond Beach area.

Ormond Beach Getaway

Our stay was great. The unit is right across the street from the beach. We especially enjoyed the fact that it was on the second floor. We watched the sun come up every morning and could see beautiful views from our front windows and balcony all day long
