Unser Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Sackgasse in der Nähe der Stadt. Bietet viel Platz und Tageslicht. Mit ca. 3700 qm ist es perfekt für 2-3 Familien zu sammeln. Nach einem Tag in der Natur, egal zu welcher Jahreszeit, können Sie sich im beheizten Innenpool erfrischen, der das ganze Jahr über bei 78 Grad bleibt. BBQ Mahlzeiten auf dem Deck und den Sonnenuntergang beobachten. Genießen Sie ein schönes Feuer auf der Terrasse oder machen Sie es sich in kälteren Nächten am Holzofen gemütlich.

Family ski weekend

The spacious house is located less than a quarter of a mile off of Route 100 well plowed country Road. The style is casual Vermont creating a cozy ambience. The efficient wood pellet stove the house warm in temperature and in spirit. The host were available to answer questions via text. We enjoyed our stay, six adults and five young children.

Good Vibes!

We had a blast! The pool area is immaculate and swimming was fun! Water temperature was nice and warm. We really enjoyed the fire pit and the long dining table was perfect for meals together, crafts and LCR! The downstairs room off the pool is great also! There are definitely “good vibes” in this lovely VT home.

Great location. Perfect for our annaul golf trip.

We booked a two night stay at Jessica and Barthley's home for our annual golf trip and it did not dissappoint. It was the perfect spot for us to unwind after a round of golf and provided options for both indoor and outdoor entertainment. This came in handy since we had rain on one of the days - but it was not a problem, because the indoor space was awesome! Would definitiely reccommend especially for golf trips, as there are a bunch of great courses within 30-40 minutes of the house.

Family vacation

We stayed here for a few days with my siblings, nieces and nephews. The pool was a hit with the kids! Owners were responsive with any question we had. They even came over while they were out to eat to come flip a breaker when the lights in the pool room wouldn’t turn on. It was a perfect vacation

Good Vibes Vacation

Had a great stay. Everything on the website was exactly what we got. Pool was amazing entertainment for the kids. Kids loved having beds all in the same room as each other to sleep. The only negative was the house was a little cold. There was some kind of heating fire place unit that didn't seem to work while we were staying there. I would definitely recommend this unit and would stay there again.

Spacious and clean, so many amenities

Family trip for Christmas in this fantastic house! The indoor pool was so clean and warm, with plenty of fun pool toys and floats. Everything you need for a family is in this house- from video games and board games to pool towels and throw blankets. There were tons of movies, a super warm pellet stove in the main living room, upgraded appliances, luxury bedding,& a great snow shovel which came in handy.Such great communication with house manager. Overall, much better than expected. Location is fabulous, so close to Magic, Bromley,Stratton mountains. There’s a cool thrift store next to the New American Grill, which we all recommend. Will stay here again.The art by Rima Potter in the sunroom is fabulous.

Nice but hot

We really enjoyed our time. There was lots of space for everyone to play and our kids loved the pool. We did have issues with may Flys they were everywhere the bathrooms were covered! Also there is no AC the day we got there it was 90 degrees out and hotter in the house not one fan was one and not one window was open its was SO hot! Finally they only left us with 1.5 rolls of paper towels seems that isn't enough for 4 days and 15 people. Besides that we had a lot of fun. We swam tons and had a fire one nice. The TV had Netflix, prime and Disney plus which is nice with kids!

Great Ski Location

The owner had the place ready to go when we arrived. It was a late arrival, but there were outside lights that were warm and inviting. Plenty of space for our party of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids). Kitchen was welled stocked with cooking necessities, great hangout spaces in the basement and first floor, and a convenient space for ski boots and outer gear in the basement near parking. Kids absolutely loved the pool - and have the pruned hands to prove it. The location couldn't have been better, ~25 mins from Okemo and Stratton (our two destinations). A lot of small details the owner took care of that we appreciated, including towels at the pool ready to go, plenty of outside garbage cans for trash, and dry wood outside for our impromptu fire on Saturday. Other than a few small hiccups, which the owner addressed promptly, it was a great stay! Thank you!

Perfect Relaxing Family Getaway

A lovely home with lots to do, both on the property (foosball, video games, cornhole, indoor pool, outdoor fire pit with wood provided) and locally. Close to several mountains for outdoor adventures, nature trails, and The Vermont Country Store is 10 minute drive. There is no air confirming but the weather was relatively comfortable in early August at night for sleeping regardless. The home feels lived in, perfect for us to not stress about our 4 tween kids breaking a priceless piece of art. A great place to bring a family for a getaway feel with a comfortable home base. The I door pool was absolutely perfect - our kids swam morning and night without concern for temperature or mosquitoes/horseflies. The hosts were very responsive and kind, offering suggestions for family friendly activities, places to eat and grocery shop. The also checked in through VRBO to make sure our stay was going well. Would definitely rent from this host again!

First Vermont Visit

Two families, 8 people in total. Plenty of beds, but the set up of the bedrooms was not what we expected. The "master" king with attached bathroom is not a private bedroom, more similar to a loft. Due to the unusually hot temperatures while we were there (July) all the kids got the two king beds and other beds in bunk room and the adults took the two queens with jack & jill bathroom. Not ideal but we made it work. Property is in a fantastic location. Had a couple questions while we were there and owner responded very promptly. Offered feedback and sounds like the owner has already addressed a couple minor items that we suggested.

Great Location, Rustic home, nice pool

Pleasant dealing with the owner before the stay. Perfect location. Great pool. Make sure the internet is working. We had lots of trouble with that. The owner was responsive. But when they say there is internet- there should be internet. Quite frustrating. Also, the heat was capped at 68 degrees. When coming into a VRBO you might want to raise the temp to 69. You ought not need to ask for a code to raise the heat. I would describe the rooms as rustic. And the pellet stove advertised is not operational. Overall a great vacation. There were a few disappointments with the house. The owners get points for being responsive. They should have been addressed before we arrived. Oh, and if it is snowy or icy bring 4-wheel drive.

Unfortunately this hosting experience was not the best. We had a storm and lost power and internet was out for a short period of time - it was restored within 24 hours of their check-in. The storm also made road conditions difficult. Both of these issues were out of control as homeowners. We discovered the pellet stove broke down the and we did not feel comfortable allowing guest to use it until it was serviced. We do lock the thermostats and made sure the guest had the code within seconds of requesting it. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience with the guest communication. The guest inundated us a 2:30 in the morning with texts messages and complaints. Guest was offensive and extremely rude. Even blamed us for the weather at one point. The badgering continued into the next day, where I had to ask him to please stop. After hours of troubleshooting their internet issue, we discovered that the guest was logging onto the internet incorrectly. Our descriptions of our rooms and appointments are accurate on our listing. After the guest checked out of our home we discovered that our glass stovetop was cracked and broken. The stove needs to be replaced and the guests insurance is paying for it. They were disrespectful to our home and to us. I hope other hosts do not have to go through what we did. We will absolutely never rent to the guest again.

Smelly carpet and moldy shower curtains

Didn't feel safe because the doors to outside did not lock. Once you walk in the smell of wet carpet is unpleasant and makes you think of mold. The shower curtains all had mold. The pool has mold. Thankfully no one in my family has allergies. The owner controlled the temperature virtually keeping it at 66 dispite my text requests to raise to 70 since it was 20 degrees outside. I had to keep checking the thermostat every few hours to see if she has raised the temperature but thermostat kept reading 66 for two days. The house felt cold and uncomfortable. The owners are unresponsive and unaccommodating to say the least. This is why this property was still available.

It is unfortunate that this review was posted, this is the first we are hearing of the guests concerns. The only communication from SC during the stay was regarding the heat in the home. We responded quickly to the text messages we received regarding the temperature (even in the late and early hours) and turned up the heat to the requested 73 degrees - we have this tracked through our Nest systems. All doors in the home do lock and we provide keys to the guests on the Welcome table - we even had some guests who have locked themselves out in the past. The shower curtains are sprayed with bleach each cleaning and there are extra shower curtain liners in each of the bathrooms under the sinks . We would have been happy to come switch them out if we knew this was a concern of the guest. The carpets in the home are new and its insulting that the title of her review was a "smelly carpet..." We have a pool professional come to service the pool weekly and we have a brand new filter system - we have never had mold in the pool. This has been our only negative review. We pride ourselves in keeping our home a 5-star property and are always making improvements so our guests have a wonderful experience.
