Diese gemütliche Hütte im Landhausstil mit moderner Ausstattung und Blick auf den Lake Superior ist das perfekte Basislager, um den Porcupine Mountain State Park zu erkunden. Neu renoviert mit einem Queensize-Bett, das zur Küche / zum Wohnbereich offen ist. Bettwäsche wird gestellt.

Klimaanlage und Roku TV, Wi-Fi. Badezimmer mit Dusche. Die Küche hat einen kleinen Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Kochplatte, Bratpfanne, Töpfe / Pfannen, Geschirr / Besteck. Es gibt auch einen großen Propangrill auf der Veranda, Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien und eine Feuerstelle für ein Lagerfeuer

The property was exactly as it was described. It is a perfect retreat for two people. They owners literally thought of everything you could possibly need and fit it beautifully into a small space. We particularly loved the two decks and the firepit backing up to a beautiful wooded area. It was a very nice retreat to come home to after exploring the area during the day. The owners were quick to answer any questions and to provide information on the area.

What a beautiful cabin that has everything a person would ever need for a wonderful stay. Was so nice to wake up with a cup of coffee out on the deck to watch and listen to the waves crash on the Lake Superior shore. The other amazing thing is how dark it is and how beautiful the star filled sky is above this place. The host was fantastic and their pride in this property is obvious. I will return!

Wonderful spot near Ontonagon, just perfect for me and my cousin to girls' week it in the Porkies for a hike, a drive to Copper Harbor, Broadway Drive down to Houghton, some Ambassador pizza, and a lot of waterfalls. Love the ease.

Charming Cabin!l

We enjoyed our stay at this cute little cabin tremendously! It was well stocked and the cleanest rental we’ve ever seen. The two porches are fantastic, and just sitting on them with our coffee in the morning or glass of wine in the evening listening to the birds was so relaxing. They give you all you need to build a fire, so we loved our evening fires around the pit. It was our first time to the Porkies, and we were just amazed by the incredible beauty. We love to hike, and it is a hiker’s paradise! Thank you for a wonderful stay, Brandi and Mark!

Amazing!

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was perfect—tucked away just enough to feel peaceful, yet close to all the places we wanted to explore. (Lake of the clouds, rock beaches, waterfalls, drove up the keweenaw peninsula) The space itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully set up, making it the perfect little getaway spot for a couple. It truly felt like a home away from home. Would definitely stay here again!

The Perfect getaway cabin

Every part of the cabin was beautiful and well maintained. The management was very nice and easy to contact. The location so near the Porcupine State Park was ideal. While not located right on the beach, there is a public beach a short drive from the property.

My wife and I stayed at the smaller cabin. Wow, it couldn’t have been more perfect. The cabin was exactly as described. Small and cozy. Everything was shoveled. Even a path to the fire pit which we did use. The cabins cleanliness and condition was immaculate to say the least. You can definitely tell that matt&brandi care. Would 100% rec a stay. Perfect couples cabin after a day out on the trails.

Zu Gast bei Matt & Brandi

I (Brandi) was born and raised in White Pine so I have had Lake Superior and the Porcupine Mountains in my backyard my whole life. I have 2 adult children.
Matt was born and raised in lower Michigan (Richmond) and always loved to vacation in the UP. Being the hunter and fisherman he is, he relocated here thru his job (Semco) in 2001
Fast forward a few years...we met in 2012 and the rest is history.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

Rainbow Lodging was originally the End of the Rainbow Restaurant. It served ice cream and broasted chicken and was a popular place to see bears. It had been closed for several years before my Aunt Sharon bought the property in 2011. She turned it into a home for my grandparents (her parents) and a few years later when they relocated she decided to rent it out.
Now its her turn to relocate and with wanting to keep it in the family, we (Matt & I) decided to embark on this exciting yet challenging adventure together
