We want every guest to have a great experience. These house rules help us keep things safe, respectful, and running smoothly. Failure to follow them may result in extra charges—or, in rare cases, early termination of your stay without a refund.
📝 Rental Agreement
Please sign the digital agreement within 48 hours of booking—or right away if you’re arriving within 5 days. If it isn’t signed, your stay may be canceled as a guest-initiated cancellation under the agreed policy.
🏡 Be Thoughtful
Treat the home like it belongs to your favorite aunt and uncle. Clean up after yourself, and leave things as you found them.
🚫 No Shenanigans
No drugs, illegal activity, unregistered guests, or parties. Breaking this rule may result in immediate cancellation with no refund. Let’s not go there.
🚭 No Smoking or Vaping
Smoking or vaping is only allowed in the backyard. Absolutely no lighting up indoors.
🏘️ Be a Good Neighbor
Keep noise down after dark and save the party vibes for Broadway. Nashville's quiet hours are 11 pm to 7 am.
🐾 Be a Responsible Pet Owner
Up to 2 well-behaved, potty-trained dogs are welcome for $25 each per night—just let us know in advance. Please clean up after your pup and keep furniture pet-free unless covered with your own linens. No other animals allowed.

The primary guest must be 21+, stay the entire time, and take responsibility for the stay. Rate includes 2 guests; extras (up to 4 total) are $20/night and must be confirmed 24 hours before arrival. Max occupancy is firm at 4, and only those listed on the reservation are allowed on the property. No additional visitors for any length of time. Middle TN residents must request approval before booking or are subject to cancellation. Families and kids are welcome, but the home is not child-proofed.

Planning to decorate? Please use wall-safe tape only, and remove all decorations before checkout. Any damage to walls, ceilings, or paint will be charged to the guest.

We’ll handle repairs as quickly as possible. If something can’t be restored to livable standards (as determined by us), we’ll do our best to relocate you or refund unused nights. However, we’re not responsible for covering alternate accommodations.

Our nightly rate covers 2 guests or less. Additional guests (up to our max occupancy of 4 guests total) are charged at $20 per person per night. Accurate headcount must be confirmed no later than 24 hours prior to arrival. Our max occupancy is firm and we cannot accommodate groups larger than 4.
We welcome potty-trained, well-behaved dogs, up to 2 dogs per stay, for a fee of $25 per night per dog. Dogs may roam off-leash in the fully fenced yard (we just ask that you stay on top of their messes). Please let us know ahead of time if you plan to bring pets. (More details in House Rules.)

Standard check-in is 4 PM or later, with check-out at 11 AM. In some cases it may be possible to arrange for earlier check-in or later check-out for an additional fee.
Guests have private access to the entire 1-bedroom apartment (left side of home). The right side houses a small IT business office during weekday office hours. The business office has exterior security cameras that actively record in the front, side, & back of the house. There are no cameras inside the home. Our 100-year old beauty queen contains remnants of former alarm system devices that have long since gone unused. As removing them would cause further damage to our restored beauty, they’ve been left in place. There are no active alarm, security, or camera devices within the home. There is an Alexa-enabled bluetooth speaker in the living room.
Free street parking is available on our street & on neighboring side streets. Since we’re located in the high-demand Five Points area of East Nashville, street parking in close proximity to the house cannot be guaranteed, however as reviews from previous guests will demonstrate, close parking is typically readily available.
We are fully permitted and abide by all local and state regulations governing short-term rentals.

After 13 years leading a nonprofit in South Africa, I swapped the savannah for the skyline and moved to Nashville in 2011. What began as simply renting out the guest room in my home has grown into ComeVisitNashville—a boutique hospitality business. Our collection of thoughtfully curated vacation rentals hosts hundreds of guests each year!
Hosting blends my love of travel, culture, and connection—welcoming guests from around the world while offering a true local experience here in Music City. I’m passionate about creating spaces that feel warm, personal, and rooted in community.

The Five Points Jewel's location is a huge part of what makes your stay with us so amazing! We’re right in the heart of Five Points (the fun, vibrant epicenter of East Nashville) — literally 10 doors down from bars, restaurants, and shops! With so much to do in walking distance, and being only 2 miles from downtown/Broadway, you couldn't ask for a better location!
➞ WALK to: Five Points Pizza (NY-style pizzeria, with a late-night walk-up window), Attaboy (speakeasy with incredible craft cocktails), Edley’s (for that BBQ hankering), Five Points Diner — all just a 3 min walk (< 1/4 mile)
➞ WALK TO: Bongo East (coffee and games), 3 Crow (late night hang, smoking allowed), I Dream of Weenie (iconic hot dog stand in a VW van), Rosemary (cocktails) and literally everything else in Five Points — all just a 3 min walk (< 1/4 mile)

The right side is a separate business office that operates during business hours. Guests have full use of the outdoor space, though you may see the business employees coming and going through the front or backyards.
We provide starter supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, coffee/creamer/sugar, hand/dish soap, and toiletries.
