A Wonderul Apartment
We stayed in this apartment for a month in the spring of 2015. It was wonderful. You enter from the street into a courtyard, then go directly to the apartment on the ground floor. The living area is larger than it appears in the photos and is very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped. The ;layout is perfect for yourselves and another couple or children (being careful not to stand straight upstairs). The apartment is clean and very well maintained. The walls are painted in soothing colors. The front window opens, allowing a cool breeze, and the AC is great on hot days. Across the street is Hunyadi Ter, a really lovely well maintained park with a fountain, children's play area, and benches under large trees. There are two small markets, a public market, and an almost-daily open air food market across the square. Metro line 1 is a half block away. The apartment is centrally located near the middle of Andrassy Ut. There are two smaller apartments from the same owner next door should you have guests or friends coming. Best of all Dominique, the owner, is extremely helpful and a truly nice person to meet. We will be returning to Budapest for a month each year and plan to stay here.
