Unser neu eingerichtetes Haus mit 5 Schlafzimmern und 3 Bädern ermöglicht es sogar einer Gruppe von 12 Verwandten, bequem und großzügig Urlaub zu machen! 12 PERSONEN IN BETTEN! Maximal 15 Verwandte als Gäste!

Die Gäste haben Zugang zum gesamten Haus. Wir sind nur wenige Schritte vom Ocean Beach Park entfernt. Inbegriffen für Tage am Meer: (10) begehbare Strandpässe der Saison 2019 und Strandtücher, die alle im Keller aufbewahrt werden. Keine Notwendigkeit für das Parken; Sie sind nur einen kurzen Spaziergang oder eine Radtour von all dem Sommervergnügen entfernt, das der Ocean Beach Park bietet. Wir bitten die Gäste, hauptsächlich den Eingang der Terrassentür zum Betreten und Verlassen des Hauses zu benutzen. Halten Sie die vordere Eingangstür geschlossen und verriegelt, es sei denn, Sie müssen Gegenstände für Veranstaltungen in den Keller und aus dem Keller bringen.

Wenn Sie vom Strand zurückkommen, spritzen Sie bitte vor dem Betreten des Hauses den gesamten Sand von Körpern und Liegestühlen (Gegenständen) ab. Bitte schütteln Sie auch den gesamten Sand aus den Strandtüchern.

Gebrauchte Strandtücher und Bettwäsche können in den 2 Behältern in der unteren Etage außerhalb des Badezimmers abgestellt werden.

Bitte entfernen Sie die Matratzenschoner NICHT von den Betten, wenn Sie die Bettwäsche wechseln.

Mülleimer befinden sich an der Seite des Hauses neben dem Außendeck. Die Müllabholung findet am Freitagmorgen statt. Mülleimer gehen jeden Donnerstagabend aus dem Bordstein.

Die Gäste können die Klimaanlage / Heizung nach Belieben nutzen. Bitte schalten Sie den Thermostat nach Ende Ihres Aufenthalts aus.

Alkoholkonsum ist für Gäste unter 21 Jahren verboten.

Für jeden (verlorenen) saisonalen Strandpass wird eine Gebühr von 50 USD erhoben. Für den Verlust eines saisonalen Strandparkausweises wird eine Gebühr von 150 USD erhoben.

Für (jede) verloren gegangene / kaputte Fernbedienung eines Fernsehgeräts oder einer Kabelbox wird eine Gebühr von 75 USD erhoben.

Für einen frühen Check-in vor 14:00 Uhr wird eine Gebühr von 50 USD pro Stunde erhoben. Ein früher Check-in kann nicht vor 12:00 Uhr erfolgen. Bitte geben Sie dies bei der Buchung an, um den Reinigungsservice zu koordinieren.

Für einen erweiterten Check-out nach der festgelegten Zeit von 10:00 Uhr wird eine Gebühr von 50 USD pro Stunde erhoben. Der erweiterte Check-out kann bis 12:00 Uhr erfolgen. Bitte geben Sie dies bei der Buchung an, um den Reinigungsservice zu koordinieren.

Vor der Buchung Ihres Aufenthalts bieten wir vor Ort keine Vorführungs- und / oder Begleitdienste an.

Sie werden am Morgen Ihres Aufenthalts mit den Anweisungen und dem Code für den schlüssellosen Zugang benachrichtigt.

Alle Liegestühle und Strandutensilien befinden sich im linken unteren Abstellbereich von Schlafzimmer 2. Alle Strandpässe werden in einem übersichtlichen Ordner gespeichert.

Das gesamte Inventar wird vor und nach dem Aufenthalt jedes Gastes gezählt. Diese Gebühren sind nicht verhandelbar. Fehlende oder beschädigte Artikel werden an Airbnb Claims gesendet und Ihrem Konto belastet.

Love Location

Liked the area but it has changed alot over the years. The house was a nice size for all 11 of us. The house was comfortable. Well stocked. Rooms were a good size. The bathrooms need some updates but clean. But overall we all had a great time. Would rent again

Great Vacation

It's a beautiful property with plenty of room for a large family. It's a block away from a beautiful beach with a nice little boardwalk. It is also close to many beautiful sights in Mystic, CT; Groton, CT; and even locally. If you have any questions they are quick to respond. The process of arriving and leaving the property went smoothly. They gave clear directions on everything. Would definitely recommend this property and location to those seeking a well rounded vacation.

A regular coffee pot would be nice and change out one electric plug in each room that has a phone charger in it. The toilet in the master needs changing out. A recliner in the living room would be useful. Loved our stay.

Perfect location and peaceful

This was a great location, walking distance from the beach which is a big plus. The home is itself was spacious enough to host 8 adults comfortably. The home was well equipped with kitchen, cleaning tools. The house was very cool, the downstairs rooms were much colder than the upstairs rooms. We closed the vents in the downstairs rooms to even out the cold air in the house. The host was very responsive to our questions. All in all we had a great stay.

A little over 2 weeks OK, my family and I had the pleasure of spending a few days at this property. Our stay was wonderful, we did not regret booking this property. We decided to book our stay here because we were impressed with how detailed the owner was about amenities, rules, expectations, etc.. They did not disappoint. Check-in was fairly simple. The place was clean and everything was has described or shown in pictures. The neighborhood was peaceful and quite. We really appreciated the effort that the owner and team put into preparation to make our stay comfortable and worry free. We had a wonderful time, and would recommend this property to anyone.

The home was not clean. The bathrooms were totally not clean, especially the bath tub and showers. They were slippery and dangerous.

You had stayed with us for a 10 day visit. Numerous times we had communicated with you through the VRBO message board regarding wifi connections AND then our maintenance physically bringing over extra blankets and linens to the home. Not one time did you mention any of these concerns, nor with any specificity during your visit. It is quite disappointing to receive such negative generalized statements (post stay in a review) with no proof of evidence: home was not modern, bathrooms were unsafe (they were slippery and dangerous), the home was not clean AND the bathrooms were not clean. It is a very disingenuous assesment of the property's condition and very misleading to any future renters considering booking.

Would not rent again.

The house was located in an ok neighborhood. There’s no water views nor is it near water. It’s nice enough inside, but the house smells extremely moldy. Especially the downstairs bedrooms. The bedding even smelled moldy. We woke up early and left as soon as we could. Two of us were coughing all night from the smell. The downstairs toilet didn’t flush, but it ran all night and kept making flushing noises every couple of minutes ALL night long and kept us awake. The downstairs bathroom looked dirty, old, and smelled like mold too. Really regret choosing this house.

AN ABSOLUTE MALICIOUS BOLD FACE LIE OF A REVIEW ON ALL ACCOUNTS, TO DEFAME OUR HOME & INTEGRITY. THE SCORE & REVIEW DESCRIPTION IS NOT AN ACCURATE ASSEEEMENT OF UTOPIA PROPERTIES RENTAL SERVICES. This review is an act of pure spite and hateful retaliation, as guest demanded additional checkin and checkout times, extra services, and extra amenities (expected free of charge) that could not be accomodated. The home is exactly one block away from the Atlantic Ocean and Ocean Beach Park, which can be directly seen from the property. Aerial listing photos prove this true. There is absolutely no mold, toxic smell, or dirtiness of any kind in any part of the home. Rather than directly reporting trip issues to host, VRBO, or providing photos during visit, the 5 guests decided to stay the entirety of a 2 day trip with no communications. All guest claims are purely fabricated.

Annual Trip

I have nothing too terrible to say about this property. It was spacious enough and the sleeping accommodations were great for my group of 9 adults. However, my only comment has to do with the bathrooms. They were clean, but they were well-used and could use some updating (beyond paint). The bathrooms could each use some renovation. In the lower level bathroom, there was a lot of rust around the vent area and the shower had been painted but the paint was chipping so it gave the appearance of not being clean. I would also suggest that there needed to be more towels and washcloths Expecting a party of 9 to use only one washcloth each over the course of 4 days seems to be a little unreasonable. We had to do a load of laundry in order to have clean towels/washcloths. Otherwise, this property was great and really suited our needs quite well. Thank you!

We will definitely assess the status of the bathroom(s) and make the necessary repairs/ upgrades where needed. As a set standard, your group was distributed 15 towels and 10 washcloths for your 3 day trip. In regards to the lack of towels and washcloths, a simple message requesting more items would have done the trick. Our maintenance would have brought more over within the hour, as we do with many of our guests. Safe travels!

We found the property to be clean and well stocked( could have used baggies Saran Wrap or foil ). Location was perfect for our purpose. The number of bedrooms afforded privacy for everyone. There was plenty of parking for our party . It appears that there have been many renovations which are great, but the bathrooms could use updating. I gave you a 4 for communications since it would be nice to talk to a person. All in all our expectations were met and would certainly keep VRBO in mind for any future getaway.

Great for large parties

I hooked this house for myself and friends and there was more than enough room for all 12 of us. This listing made it very easy to get to the beach and also came equipped with beach chairs in the basement. I would definitely stay here again.

Family Getaway

Family members arrived from New York, Texas, and Missouri for a 5 day beach vacation after a nearby wedding. We used all 5 bedrooms, and it was great that our daughter could be downstairs next to the (huge) bedroom that our granddaughters stayed in. Each granddaughter (age 6 and 9) had her own queen bed - sharing a bed wouldn't have worked nearly as well. We had 4 guests for lunch one day and 2 guests for lunch another day. The kitchen facilities, dining area, and outside deck table worked well. The place was spotless, the glassware sparkled, and we had every possible pot and pan, dishwashing pods for the dishwasher and detergent pods for the washer and dryer. In addition to a full stove, there was a microwave. We brought our own coffee maker because we wanted bigger batches than the Kerik the host provided. We would have liked a toaster too. It was a short 2 minute walk to the beach, and a deep wagon was available to cart lunch and supplies. Even a hose near the main entrance to wash off the sand before returning into the house. Perfect for us. Plus we had 3 cars that fit neatly into the parking area provided.

Great Home for a Family Beach Vacation

This house was perfect for our weeklong family vacation with our son, daughter-in-law, grandchildren (3 1/2 & 1 1/2) and their Maltipoo. The home was fully equipped and easy walking distance to the beach. In addition, the location made it easy to get to the Aquarium, Seaport Museum and Mystic (with its great restaurants and interesting shops). It was even easy for our son to experience Mohegan Sun, which is under 30 minutes away. We had a shower clog on our first day and the management was right on top of it, taking care of it while we enjoyed the Aquarium. We will definitely be back and will gladly rent with Utopia again!

Great Vacation!

Found the rental description to be accurate. Pleasantly surprised to find wine glasses and beach chairs which were not listed! Great location near beautiful beach, pool, amusement park. Very nice neighborhood, meet both neighbors very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Great location and spacious rental

This was a great space and very close to the beach. Very convenient for multiple families needing their own space and then a common area that fits about 5-8 adults very comfortably with lots of space for kids to run around. Everything was clean and there was good provisions for cooking. The only thing we were missing was a grill lighter. One of those things that is easy to forget to bring with you and wish they had had one because it really affected us one day as we were ready to light the grill and food was prepped and everything. Luckily a neighbor leant us one! The only real issues we had were: - the bathroom in the basement was really problematic. We had a clog every day. No exaggerating. Everyday we had to call it in and wanted to stop using it altogether but it would have been too inconvenient since each family had their own designated bathroom near their room. The up side is they sent the plumber extremely quickly every time. But it did begin to put a damper on things having to report and deal with plumber so much when we didn't want anyone in the house for social distancing concerns. He became a daily guest! Grateful for the quick response but sheesh. We were not doing anything special... Even began minimizing toilet paper once the trouble began. But it still clogged everyday... I think there's a need for a new toilet which the plumber mentioned he recommended. - the neighbor chastised our toddlers for running back and forth on the grass adjacent to the property. It seemed to be part of the property and later she admitted that part of the grass was for the house but that we crossed over by about a foot or so. It was not very neighborly and later she must have felt bad and brought us cookies. But it really put a damper on that day. There are no instructions about where the lawn stops and we were clearly not doing anything destructive. We were blowing bubbles and the kids were running around. She said it was for our safety that we should not be there. It was kind of ridiculous in my opinion. It seemed that she just didn't feel like having to restrain her dogs and so she told us to not be there. But if she is correct and we cannot be on the grass there should be more clear instructions about this. I don't like being accused of my child trespassing while I am on vacation!

Location, location, location

Short walk to Ocean Beach, convenient to great area restaurants. Plenty of room for our extended family getaway for 6 adults, and pet friendly too! The outside of the house seems much smaller than inside. We rented a different property from the same owners last year - glad we did again.

CT Beach House - in the winter

We booked this home because our daughter was competing at the Miss America pageant at the Mohegan Sun Casino (under a half hour away). The proximity to the beach is AMAZING and even in the winter we took advantage and walked the beach a few times. The house is deceiving from the outside - it's spacious and very clean. My only complaint is that the kitchen isn't fully equipped - I couldn't find a blender or a wine bottle opener. Otherwise, plenty of counter space as well as storage for the food we brought. Big fridge with plenty of freezer space, too. Beds were comfortable! Laundy on site if you need it. Would love to go back when it's warmer!
